I have that unit myself fitted in a Porsche 996, and very please with it.
You can use malaysk roms but just make sure you choose the correct one.
800x480 for rk3188. Link below

If you are unsure about anything, ask before you attempt to do any updates.

thanks very much for the reply!
Ill check out that ROM, i didn't think it was suitable as it is for RK3066/RK3188, and the specs for TD696A state "CPU → RKPX3"
Thanks

Hi Compbuilds,
I'm interested in buying this DR7062 made by szwinmark which is also known as ES9062B in erisinwholesale. (sorry I can't join links or image 'cause not yet 10 messages)
It has the same RPX3 but its MCU serial number doesn't begin by MTC but LM-AND841-8015v1.21
So, I can't find what MCU I could use in the future . I'm searching for a long time but no way.
Could you tell me what I can use without any problem ?
Thks to all who could help

Sorry for the late reply!
Volume control is fine, but i use my steering wheel controls mainly anyway.
Yes, you can mix the audio from navigation and other sources.
As mentioned above, you can use malaysk custom roms on this unit.
I have had a problem with the SD/map card reader though, i think it is faulty on my unit.
And xtrons support via their forum is terrible!
But it's a nice looking unit, and as long as i can get t to run radio/mp3/navigation smoothly (still setting it all up!), then i'll be happy.
Hello Sorry for the third reply on 3 diffrent posts i have just recieced my new system its a Xtrons Model no TD702A, CPU RKPX3, 7" 800x480:
http://xtrons.co.uk/td702a-android-4...tion-obd2.html
My first job is to try and root it and delete some of the crap thats comes pre installed like the weather app if i want to no its raining il just look out of the friggin car window im not going to update the MCU just the rom.
Thats were help is needed is the CPU RKPX3 same as the RK3188?. And i read that you have had problems with your SD card if i install malaysk would that give me the same problem? can anyone let me know this before i install it thanks.

Hi guys,
I have this android unit installed in my car, and i would like to know if there is possible to make customization to the UI (remove for example Car info tab - not working for me) or make it so when i click on it will open a specific app (like torque or something) to make it useful, or simply remove the item from the UI.
Can i do such a thing, will require a lot of codding or something?
Please see the attached images to know better about my unit and hopefully you guys can help me out.
Thanks a lot guys for your time!

This is to prevent spamming.
Just mention which unit you have. You don't mention brand, type, OS version. etc.

Personally I like FCC Launcher on play store and support can be found on different thread. You can use the default dialler of the launcher for your phone calls. Am/FM software I now use GMRadio instead of the stock app. You can find this a thread on here. DAB+ app look for Dab-z-player on the play store by Zoulou. Support in a separate thread on here. ADAS I can't advise as it's built into my dash cam.
As far as Navigation software I use sygic and here both on play store. Both don't need data unless you want traffic reports.
Anything else have a nose around the forums.

Thanks for the feedback
I'm also trying to find a link to GMRadio.

As far as I understand in that thread that app is only for MTCD/E units.
Thanks for the links.

It seem you have missed my radio app for multiple devices NavRadio+:
For MTC units thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...t/dev-navradio-ported-to-mtc-devices-t4048899
For TopWay based units with Allwinner T3,T8 and Intel TS9:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...its/dev-navradio-app-allwinner-units-t4024701
The app is the same for all those devices, it can recognize the device type and adapt its functionalities.
There is a basic free version and a paid version on playstore.

I tried your version but it's not working with my autoradio "Junsun" Android 10.
I am very interested in your app as I cannot (like the others) install any car launcher as they don't find the radio app (nor the phone app).
Do you plan to also take in charge other material ?

Oh I have the same question Tried many times but unable to.
Hello,
sorry for my bad English.
Have anyone 6315lcdconfig.cfg or 6523lcdconfig.cfg or 6521lcdconfig.cfg for this type of display?
(L10P8-MIPI-SAT-ICN9707_720X1280)
Or maybe somebody know how to find this kind of files?
Google is not friend for this search definitely.
Thanks in advance,
best regards!
Does somebody know where to find this kind of file or how to generate correct one?
Is there some tool like generator or editor?
Screen is total black, only backlight is turned on.
File 6523lcdconfig.cfg which I've got with firmware from seller caused this situation. Look at attached picture.
(clnpL10P8-MIPI-yt10-SC7705_720X1280_HAIHANG 20200615 15:37:24).
Yes, I know that I've done mistake, but now is too late.
I don't need to say that seller now trying to avoid any answer to me.
Please help me with this issue...

Oh, thanks. Just reported your post as off topic. For the OP, it made sense to point them in the right direction so they know where they should be posting, don't wonder why their post moved, and a mod isn't bothered.
A couple of years ago I bought the full version of Malaysk's firmware for a PX30/RK3326 Android 9. works great.
I have new head units now, the Phoenix SC7862 Android 10 and a Ezonetronics K4811 Android 11
I searched the forums for these but it's quite empty. do these translate to something I can search for? like MTCD/MTXX ?
Or is there a thread about modded firmware for them somewhere?
Did you ever find more info on your K4811? I have a K4811 and the only thing I’ve figured out so far is the Factory Settings password is 1617 but I don’t know the developer mode password or even how to change main screen.

some people use a computer power supply to bench power their android head unit but you'd need an old one or some way to turn it on. probably easier to find an old 12VDC wall wart style power supply

In your last line, do you mean 8581a instead of 5851a?
Does the freeware version of DeviceInfoHW report the desired info? My AHU is installed in a vehicle that is not under my control so I would prefer not to have to arrange to purchase an app with my account. Maybe AIDA64 would work too.

I got the Style Setting password for my unit last night from my vendor. Posting here in case it helps someone else with a K4811 unit:
Factory Settings password: 1617
Style Settings password: 111333
I'm still trying to get Developer Option password (and USB Debugging password, if required).
Good afternoon. Should I expect root on this device?
Android developer settings password is 345543, as mentioned previously in this thread. I found USB debugging enabled by default.

The K4811 is not a FYT unit. The only thread I could find, with very little info is this thread on 4PDA.
The biggest difference from FYT units is that on K4811 you CAN use the unit's SIM card for calls and SMS.
I just got this unit a couple of days ago and I must say I am impressed.
My previous unit was a Navifly (FYT) UIS7862, 9.7 inch 1280*720 6GB+128GB Android 10.
My new K4811 is a 13.3 inch 2000*1200 6+128 also Android 10 (fake Android 11)
What I like:
Beautiful screen, very bright. Will see how it looks in summer, though.
Sound; subjective, but to me it sounds way better than my previous unit.
Cooler included with management based on preset CPU temperature.
Adjustable mounting height -not much, about 1 inch, but still.
Came with adapter frame.
Wireless Android Auto through Zlink5 works like a charm.
What I don;t like:
No obvious way to change laucher, seems to ship with only one launcher.
No FYTBACKUP
No root
Here is a nice video showing the unit

Actually, for factory settings, both 1617 and 16176699 will work, but return different options. At first sight 1617 will show less inputs and less styles- 1617 shows 4 styles while 16176699 shows 20.
Couldn't figure a way to change the launcher, though.
