Hello!
I have an iiyama TV (43" (109,22cm) iiyama ProLite LH4370UHB-B1) with android 9.0 pie (TV OS) installed. Something went wrong and the TV is now booting on every reboot automatically in Recover Mode. The problem is I cannot move inside the recovery mode. I cannot go up and down either I cannot select something. There is only one Power button on the TV, I was sure that this button must be for selecting, but no, doesn’t work either, also a USB keyboard connected on the USB port of the TV won’t let me select or move. Anyone an idea? Thank you!!

Hello, I bought a tablet that had a broken windows. It just boots up to a screen asking for recovery media. Unfortunately when I plugged in a usb keyboard to access bios I decided to fiddle with the usb settings, and result, now usb devices are not recognized I was trying to find a way to make a usb hub to work in order to have a keyboard attached simultaneously with a usb stick, to install windows.
Now I am stuck with this, since I cant find a way to reset the bios, is there anything that can be done since no key combination will reset this and no reset button exists on this tab?
can anybody help out on this matter or is the device a lost cause? Somehow I can't believe, only things I need is a bios reset and a usb hub that allows me to use a bootable usb stick and keyboard for install?
I try update my nvidia shield tv 2017 but now the System bootloop on Android circles animation (dont start box).
- I try fastboot with Controller but dont work (many, many times)
- I try conect to pc but dont connect device with fastboot
bricked bootloader??
I dont have solutions.... please help.
Sorry my english
Try un plugging the power then plug a USB keyboard in and hold the A and B key and then plug the power back in.
same problem for 3 days, can not enter fastboot mode. my shield is in bootloop
Shot in the dark, but have you tried different USB ports on the computer? I know in my case, some otherwise working ports will not work with the shield. Seems to be very fussy when it comes to which ports I choose. None of my front ports work on this desktop, I have to plug into rear ports in order for my computer and shield to see each other.
Also be sure to use the original cable that came with the shield.
Also make sure USB debugging is on.
Any fix ? Same problem
Have you tried "adb reboot bootloader" in command prompt when the android logo is looping?
I have no Android logo i have no os just twrp and twrp with no access adb and fastboot command dont work on NVIDIA logo
If you put lineage os on a usb stick can twrp read the usb stick? If so, you can install the zip file of lineage with gapps...once that's installed and booted up, you can enable usb debugging in the developers options and fastboot and adb should work again.
After flash the OS downloaded for official website, the box stuck at the first screen, I think I should wipe data to enter into the system, but without bootloader interface, I can do nothing!
Then I check the forum, find some way like below:
(1) Unplug SHIELD TV.
(2) Connect SHIELD controller to SHIELD TV with a USB cable (use port closest to HDMI).
(3) While holding the A and B buttons at the same time, connect power to SHIELD TV.
I tried many times, and press A and B buttons at different moments, but it did not work at all!
How can I get into bootloader mode?
Would someone help me to save my Shield Brick and tell me what to do?
Thank you very much!
Hello!
Have a look here: https://nvidiashieldzone.com/shield-android-tv/android-7-nougat/shield-tv-2017-root/
And proceed Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 to 3.1.4 (Type “adb reboot bootloader” and hit enter. The Shield TV should reboot into the bootloader screen.)
I think the title says it all. I have a broken screen and I'd rather just move to a new phone than repair this just to lift a few text messages and app settings.
My problem is as follows: I always had to enable usb debugging (repeatedly) and then confirm my PC to be able to access the device through adb. Obviously, with no working screen it is not possible.
I managed to blindly boot into bootloader (I think) - power + volume down, the device shows in fastboot but I can't do much there that I know of.
I tried connecting through a USB hub to a HDMI screen, but nothing showed on the screen (and I tried it in the past with similar results)
edit: I managed to boot into twrp (power + volume up), and I have shell access there + decryption of the data partition worked. Now I wonder if it is possible to find a way to control the device's GUI via USB.
Hi!
First of all, sorry if this sounds stupid...
I'm trying to open the bootloader but I'm stuck. I don't know how to select "Confirm". I can't see any buttons and wireless controller doesn't work.
Any help? Thanks for your time.
Nvidia Shield TV Pro (2019)
EDIT: Ok, I found it.
Plugging an USB keyboard BEFORE entering bootloader mode.
Afterwards, unplugging it and using an USB mouse instead into TWRP recovery.
