Hoping someone can help me. I just had installed a junsun pro on my chrysler 300. Everything works as it should except Bluetooth. It connects to unit, I can make calls from unit and my phone, but i can't hear the call. The people I'm calling can hear me. Sometimes I will hear the phone ringing as it connects but then cuts out. Is this an install issue or hardware issue? What can I check on the secret menu? Tough time getting in touch with Junsun so I'm kinda on my own. Fixed the swc thanks to this forum!
Is it MTCB
Isn't a FYT unit? wow after checking, it appears that the V1 pro with 2/4GB are MTK based, what about the 8GB units, MTK also or UIS?

I would like to replace the head unit in my Toyota Camry LE 2007 with a Android one. I am currently looking into Joying & Ownice models. In the Joyice thread, there were complaints about the bluetooth audio being very bad. Does Ownice units have this problem? I apologize for creating a new thread, but the Ownice thread has become too big.
Just so people coming across this thread won't get a bad idea, I am posting this. Looks like Joying's BT is only an issue when you are on phone with somebody.
1) Bluetooth audio quality streaming music from my phone, or from phone calls, to the head unit = excellent. Works like a charm.
2) Bluetooth audio quality that the PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PHONE hear, not so good. It is better since doing the mic mod detailed in this thread, but the road noise and echo that the caller on the other end hears is not good. It honestly doesn't bother me much, since I don't have to hear it, but they constantly are asking me if my window is down. This could potentially be from:
A) Needing a better microphone
B) Needing a better microphone jack
C) Needing a better head unit
Either way, I don't hear it and I don't talk to people that much while driving, so not a big deal to me.
If number 1 above is your problem, try updating your MCU or trying a new rom. There might also be some volume settings to play with in Factory Settings code "126". If none of that works, contact joying for a replacement.

Ownice units have different problems like reboots and app data loss.
I own an Ownice C200 v3 (they produce the C200 units for Navall to) and overall i am satisfied, good radio receiver from NXP, especially about the bluetooth 3.0, which is clear on both sides, good audio sound...
The only sad thing are those reboots and app loses, although it is much less with the latest updates. They working on those problems but the progress is slow.

I'm looking on the same models but Ownice is proposing 2 GB Ram so I guess it should be better than 1 Gb.
What did you choose?
I just purchased a new 7" Joying 5.1.1 mtcd unit. The audio during a Bluetooth call is awful. It comes through so broken up I can barely understand the person talking to me. It's not my phone either because I tried another Bluetooth headset and it worked fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Per mtcb thread, the same mic issues exists as almostevery cheap chinese head unit, including the wince units. The solution is to physically and electrically disconnect the internal microphone and connect a quality external microphone. Forget the cheap Chinese external mics and source a local lapel electret microphone. The difference will be night and day! Installation is important too - suggest mounting on steering column or (best) pointing back toward driver near rear view mirror (window acts as a parabolic reflector.) Keep away from sides/side window to minimise road noise.

I have read a little about that and it seems that will only fix the outgoing sound(my voice). Will it help the incoming sound that I get from whoever I am talking to on the phone?

This might help the incoming sound if the outgoing is really bad as some outgoing is mixed. The mic mod exponentially improves outbound audio so suggest making the modification and testing your results.
I bought a 7" Carjoying (Android 4.4.4 kitkat; CPU: RK3188 1.6GHz Cortex A9 Quad Core) last january for my 98 ford ranger. While running wires for the GPS, I went ahead and installed the external mic(came with the unit) on my sun visor. People have no issues hearing me, unless I'm on the freeway with the window down. I did not disconnect the head unit mic.

I had the same issues. The audio quality from the one speaker did improve some after updating the software.

Hello,
I am new here, as wel as new to headunits or tech in general.
I purchased a junsun V1 pro 2+32 gb (and 4g) head unit from AliExpress. I also purchased the dashcam that would work with it etc.
The instal worked, everything is connected (took way to long. Plug and play my ass)
But now i am wondering if it would be possible to adjust the firmware? Make it look more attractive? Or Maybe even ad the coyote app to it ?
Any advice is welcome but keep it simple. Im not tech savy
install Agama launcher to it.
Hey all, I need help with my junsun v1 pro 4gb +64gb-mtk8259- I just had it installed and everything works except Bluetooth. I can make calls from unit and or my cell phone. Apparently the people I call can hear me but I can't hear them. On occasion as it dialing I hear the ringing for a second then it cuts out. Is this a hardware issue, install issue, or something I need to change in secret menu?? I've reached out to junsun with no luck. I fixed the issue with the swc thanks to this forum!! Hoping someone can help me. Car is chrysler 300c and phone is samsung galaxy note 20.
Issue fixed. In my car the speaker inputs were reversed that's why I wasn't hearing anyone when calling. Thanks for everyone's help. Loving this unit now that it all works!!
Hello everyone,
recently i installed a Junsun Head Unit in my Audi TT MK2 (2012) with the bose system.
I had a xtrons PX5 before that worked like a dream until the touchscreen died.
The JunsunHead Unit works fine, but there is a strange behaviour i can't figure out.
Everything is connected through the quadlock and a canbus adapter from the seller, also there is a aux harness connected. pretty much standard stuff.
My problem:
The integrated radio app has sound. Music via Bluetooth works also just fine.
Every third party app like youtube, spotify, waze, maps, ... has absolutely no sound. nothing.
Googling my problem wasn't really helpful. Connecting the AMP CTRL Wire to ACC oder every other 12V wire to activate the bose amp in the trunk doesn't do anything, still no sound. And yes, the amp is working just fine, when i connect the amp ctrl wire to the powered antenna while using the radio app you can hear the difference in the sound qualitiy because of the amp working, but like i said you also have sound without the connected amp so there should be sound in any other app also, right? I don't want to listen to radio stations all day - i want spotify
In the hidden menues every setting looks just fine, everything works except the sound in app.
So my guess is the firmware, i already contacted the seller but he didn't responded yet.
Is there a newer firmware available? Or do any of you guys have any idea how to fix my problem?
One more thing: how to do a factory reset on this unit? Is there a code or a special way to press the touchbuttons...? Is it the "erase all content" in the factory settings?
Thank you so much in advance!
no idea?
How is audio output connected to your car/amp? SPDIF coaxial?
Android head unit. Some apps no sound. Radio app has sound.
Hi all. I stumbled upon these forum by googling my issue. So far I haven't found any answers to my problems, so hoping for some help from the great people on here. I have recently installed a seicane 10.1 android head unit into my jeep wrangler...

I've seen this thread. Didn't really help.
Everything is connected through the OEM quadlock (with bose) + the canbus encoder and AUX left/right in the wiring harness.
Spoke to the seller several times now and he has no idea either. He's sending me a new firmware the next few days to test... otherwise i'll send the head unit back. Must be some software issues cause some apps have sound, others don't... doesn't make any sense to me

The radio app is only an interface to control the radio hardware. Bluetooth may be the same. So it makes sense.
Hey everyone,

Happy to hear that it wasn't hardware related.
Hi there,
I am new to this forum and have recently installed an idoing version mtch px6 with ZLINK for andoid auto.
First question. My ZLINK version is 4.0.41.4. How do I know if this is the latest version? The resolution on ZLINK looks very enlarged and not very elegant. I was hoping it could be updated to improve the resolution.
2nd question - Whenever I make a phone call, my audio stops working. The person I call can hear me, but as soon as I press the call button, the audio cuts off (there is no typical ringing sound and I cant hear any voice). Obviously the mic is working fine as the other person can hear me well.
3rd question - Randomly my right speakers will stop working. It isnt a speaker issue as they were fine before the idoing installation. Maybe its a connection issue in the back of the headunit OR there is a issue with software.
Any help would be really appreciated!!
Cheers,
Julian
Not Android-auto.
Op, also no one will know what your unit is without posting details including screenshots from Android system information. The first point of contact being the reseller of device, what do they suggest?
