The band 12 enable and OTA disable methods here don't work. OTA enables itself again at boot and band 12 setting also resets itself at boot.

I have a stock TWRP backup of all partitions except data and cache, for the amazon prime variant 16gb, if you would like to add a link somewhere. - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4SWkDc6OnebamY5MlhtaGg0blU

There is already one in the Rootjunky downloads folder on their site but thanks anyway. Also that section is intended for firmwares that are to be flash in stock recovery.

Well it is hosted on a weird website, but this is the direct link that the phone OTA software (fota, which is known to be terrible) use (captured with Wireshark). It can easily be verified.
It seems the real manufacturer of the phone is "tinno" http://www.tinno.com/En/Profile/Index.html and lot of the internal apps / update files use mirrors on http://www.jstinno.com too.

Okay then.
Also does anybody happen to have/know where the OTA files for the non-prime version are?

I don't but I would love to see it to be able to compare both versions.
Do we know if someone tried to restore a non-prime nand backup over a prime version?

Anxiously waiting.... this will be my first Android ROM replacement.
Updated the original ad removal post with TWRP install files http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67892852&postcount=567 link on the index still valid.
This updated method remove the need of wiping the data and will remove all ads, even the one currently displayed on the lock screen.
Root or exposed are not required (only TWRP obviously) so it won't affect the device security.
I created 2 scripts, one to clean everything, the other one leave the Underground app store in the system.
If you use it a lot, it's nice as it will update the apps automatically without the need of allowing unknown sources.
OTA are disabled by renaming the updater. Safer than the previous method (pm disable and pm hide), and safer than deleting if we need it later.
Since CyanogenMod's website and download servers have been taken down and the official snapshot for our device (hosted here) is CM13 I've mirrored the last nighlies I downloaded to my Moto E (2015 LTE aka surnia):
cm-14.1-20161215-NIGHTLY, cm-14.1-20161220-NIGHTLY, cm-14.1-20161223-NIGHTLY, cm-14.1-20161224-NIGHTLY and cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY
Link: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/gpn5xcp252k55/surnia
Prepend tested means I've flashed that file and has work fine for me. I'll upload also for HTC One m7 and Nexus 7 2013 (m7 and flo).

hi ,
Many developers moved to Android N, but I use xposed framework for many things, so I need a MM based rom that is being maintained and updated. The most recent MM rom I found was mokee, which I could not download from its official site. Does anyone know any MM based rom that is updated ?
You can download from the Mokee website. Its capped so it will take around 30-40 mins to download. Other than that I don't think any MM ROM is actively maintained.
use uc browser to download.. For 29th jan build i am giving you the link, download from here :- https://mega.nz/#!JZgBRIZK!Xhc_ry1Oo95wrasquRhn58c0vzsE5Rk4Hed8x5X9Nv4

If u have not modified ur system partition then just flash stock boot.img (rooting modifies boot.img) comment out the updater-script as shown in attachment. (Quite complicated )
My Method
Easy method
Flash a recovery flashable base rom (I've miui 9.0.1.0) in TWRP. this does not require updater-script edit
Then flash OTA updates with modified updater script
Refer attachment for the lines to be commented
