BREAKING: Galaxy S20 series get official Android 12 and One UI 4.0 update!
For now, the rollout seems to be limited to Switzerland, but more markets should join in on the fun in the coming days (unless Samsung decides to halt the rollout because of issues discovered in the new software). If you own a Galaxy S20 series device, you can check if the update is available for you by opening the phone’s Settings » Software update menu and tapping Download and install.
As always, you will also be able to find the latest firmware in the archives once it’s released for your country.
You also can download firmware with Frija 2.0
Unpack firmware with WinRar and flash with Odin3.v3.14 use HOME_CSC. Just upgraded my G986B no issue, used HOME_CSC and no wipe; all data intact.

I have not experienced any of the issues you mention. Bloatware can be uninstalled in aroma. I have the idea that you are only promoting Beyondrom here.

I got it yesterday - I've lost any touch function in the top of screen. e.g. go to Play Store and I can't click in the search bar or on My Apps button.
Any Back arrow at top of screen also unusable.
Spoke to Samsung Australia - they insisted I had to Factory Reset (after some discussion and telling me I would have to pay for Samsung to even LOOK at the problem) - got told the 'external storage' backup would mean I got everything back after FR - that's a direct lie. Fortunately I have Superbackup so I got my msgs, Contacts and Calls back but then spent hours getting apps from Google then setting up accounts etc.
The FR helped a little - some 3rd party apps now work but in Settings anything up at top of screen simply doesn't respond and Play Store is non-functional - can't click on anything useful and trying to get an app I have a greyed out Install button on the PC.
Currently downloading previous version from Sammobile to flash and hopefully recover my phone.
Thanks Samsung. UI 4 has been rolling out for HOW LONG now and it's still buggy?
And my phone is virginal. Haven't rooted it at all, but I will if this doesn't fix it.

Here's a repack I made for the OXX region, using the JV9 csc:
http://www.multiupload.com/9MOT0ZGUZP
Contains csc's and access point names for the following countries:
Austria (ATO, ONE, TRG), Switzerland (AUT, MOZ, SUN), Belgium (BSE), Romania (CNX, COA, HAT, ORO), Greece (COS, EUR), Croatia (CRO,TRA,TWO, VIP), Cyprus (CYO, CYV), Slovakia (IRD, ORS), Korea (KOR), Luxemburg (LUX), Slovenia (MOT, SIM), Serbia & Montenegro (MSR,SMO,TOP,TSR), Bulgaria (MTL,VVT), Czech Republic (O2C, TMZ, XEZ), Ireland (O2I, VDI), Baltic region (SEB), Portugal (TPH), Hungary (VDH, XEH), Poland (XEO), South Africa (XFA, XFC, XFE, XFM).
After you install it, change the csc to your region, using the code *#272*IMEI# from your dialer (where IMEI your phone's IMEI no.).
It's a 3 file flash, you can flash it without repartition with Odin.
This is not branded anymore by the Polish providers, and does not contain any wallpapers or PLS-specific software. It is the original odexed firmware, and the only thing different is the csc part.
Enjoy!!
LoL go mate
install pit??
If you come from another Samsung gb or froyo rom you do NOT need to repartition, so no pit is needed.
But in case you do need to repartition from some exotic firmware, or because from some flashing mistake your rom was messed up, the pit is the usual 512.pit .

FYROM is not in the OXX region, so VIM is not included... you need an XF rom.
I believe the latest rom fully compatible for you is this:

Not sure if you can replace the JV1 csc from there in this XW rom, but you can try.
Hi all, I found the xda page about codes for the galaxy s i9100 modems and are these:
CE---> Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands
DC---> Thailand
DD---> India
DX---> Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam
DZ---> Malaysia, Singapore
JA---> South Africa
JC---> Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia
JP---> Arabic, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria
JV---> Tunisia, Turkey
UG---> North America
UH---> Latin America, The Caribbean
XE---> Bulgaria, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine

XW---> Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Nordic, Spain, United Kingdom
ZC---> China, Hong Kong
ZH---> Hong Kong
ZS---> China, Hong Kong
ZT---> Taiwan
You can find it, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278, but my question is if there is a list of codes like this for modems the galaxy s i9000 because I'm with coverage problems
I think you will find these codes are "across the board" codes. ie. They use these prefixes regardless of the device, so they apply to any Samsung modem

I'm running DBT (german) on ZTO (brazilian) csc device with no issues (including old Android 11 and 12 firmwares).
Folks, quick question, I have "Smart Home Control" application from Samsung which have been work well with Android 11 and Android 12. After upgrade to Android 13 it stop works. It cannot recognize the Wi-Fi connection , but the all others apps don't have this issue. Could you please suggest me how to enable Wi-Fi connection on this app in Android 13? Thank you in advance.

New Galaxy S20 update adds feature that’s great for getting your phone repaired
The Galaxy S20+ received Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in early November, and it has gotten a couple of minor updates since then. The most recent one brought the December 2022 security patch to the Galaxy S20+ and this week, yet another update is rolling out for the three phones (via Galaxy Club).
A new firmware with version number G98**XXUFGVL5 is rolling out to Galaxy S20+ phones in some European markets, such as Germany and Switzerland. The official changelog says the update improves the stability of functions and device security, but what it doesn’t say is that the update adds Samsung’s new Maintenance mode feature to the 2020 Galaxy S flagship line.
Maintenance mode is a feature that Samsung announced in late October as a part of One UI 5.0. While some Galaxy devices received it in their very first Android 13 firmware release, others didn’t, but Samsung is working on fixing that oversight with follow-up updates.

Galaxy S20+ 5g (SM-G986B) gets March 2023 security updateIt’s a routine security maintenance release so don’t expect this update to add anything exciting to your device. The good thing is that Samsung is at least being very prompt in rolling out security updates even for outdated phones like the Galaxy S20.
The March 2023 security patch fixes dozens of security bugs in Android OS. This includes fixes for the Exynos-powered varaints as well that were released in markets outside North America. It also includes about a dozen fixes for bugs in Samsung’s software.
