Help updating my car Android Unit - Android Head-Units

Hi All,
I've purchased an aftermarket entertainment unit for my car a few years back. Its been about 4 years now and the unit is considerably slow, whether it be loading up Waze sat navigation or Spotify or a combination of both. It does like to randomly close apps or restart itself now and again.
I've spent hours trying to get my head around how to update the OS on the unit to the latest version as i assumed this would sort out my issue. The problem is with so much info out there and tons on this forum, I have no idea where to start.
I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction, ideally something like a beginners guide to updating your android system. Just want to make sure I'm also downloading the correct files etc. for the version of software I have.
I attach some screenshots which I thought might be useful:

How to root MTCB-MX-V2.16

I bought a second hand head unit off ebay for my Audi but it did not come with any instructions.
Googling the model MCU (MTCB-MX-V2.16) and Model number (S07) has very limited results.
The software and abilities of this system seem to be quite limited so I am hoping to update it. I found the page on here where I downloaded the MTCB-MX-V2.82 firmware update but I do not know how to do it.
Has anyone got one of these models? Can they help me to root/update please?

Hi you should look for the Xtrons PF75ATTA it is exactly the same as mine in my MK2 TT, it comes with Lollipop as standard so what you could do is contact Xtrons Support and say you have a PF75ATTA and you need the Factory Firmware Restore and they will give you it. It works pretty well and the DashCommand is frickin excellent any more info let me know im TTOC member under the username CAGED

I need help with bad chinese software

Hey guys,
I just got my android car head unit. I installed it correctly and everything is "working". But the software is pretty weird, i almost feels like it is using 2 separate operating systems. Some functions don't seem to interact properly with each other. The resolution of some programs is screwed up aswell. So

Welcome to the world of Chinese origin hacked Android head units.
Try searching the forums for posts related to your unit, based on the prefix "yt9213A"
E.g. https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/20115419/?q=Yt9213a&o=relevance
Your unit is not an MTCB, so requesting mod moves to [Android Head-units] forum.

Android 10 Head Unit (unknown brand) - two issues

Hi there, I’ve got an android head unit. Not sure of the model (9006? The installer mentioned?) but I’ve enclosed some photos of the info.
Two issues:
1. external Microphone installed but quality very poor, muffled - using iPhone 8+ with Apple Car Play. Any ideas why this might be?
2. any custom ROMS or firmware upgrade for this, I don’t want to lose Apple Car Play. Wondering if this might help with (1)? Any guide would also be fantastic.

Philips CID-6680 Android Unit Help

Hey guys, i recently purchased and installed a Philips CID-6680 in my little brothers 2010 Mazda 3. All is working well including steering wheel controls.
My issue is that I am unable to find much information on this unit. It was advertised as a 10.1" screen however a 9" frame fit perfectly around it. This is confusing me. I would also like to know to update the current firmware or install custom firmware as currently it seems slightly laggy and does not have as much features as i would like it to have.

Restricted O.S.? KSPiV and Kunfine

Good morning. I've been lurking here for a long time, and I really like all the knowledge available. My question is, can I nuke these chinese Head Units with a different ROM? Both have extremely restricted menus, and I need bluetooth and canbus access.
The Kunfine head is a 3/48 gig ford edge dash replacement, but its crap, and I'm tired of their garbage updates and half assed attempts at making it work. The KSPiV is a 4/64gig generic, but its also pretty restricted, and has no bluetooth menu. I actually swapped the 2 heads yesterday so I had cell service in my work vehicle. Now I need to find canbus drivers etc. I know thats a lot of rambling from a noob, but hopefully someone deciphers it and has some info. Thanks.
