Now what? I did a factory reset. On my Android Auto and now nothing works. How do I restore? Hate this damn thing. Please help.
Is it a Chinese origin Android head unit or Genuine Android Auto unit. If former request your thread be move to the appropriate forum.
These forums generally require some level of effort, what it isn't is seller product support.
Holy cow how do I move it. It is a Chinese unit dumb I know.

Apparently you have taken a lot more effort to type this than just say a simple yes or a no or you could have simply ignored. And as far as I know you are allowed to post questions about the device whatever it is. So if you are such a hotshot get the forum deleted if you "hate" the feature.
Try IT.

Yes it is still present. If Xiaomi had any intention of fixing it, they would have done it by now.
Fixing it would require lowering the gain of the amplifier. Since the Mi A1 is marketed as having a 10V high powered amp, turning down the gain would make it false advertising since it would no longer be any different than other phones.
Neither can they add any toggle to turn the gain up or down since it is an android one device with stock android and that would require custom software.

Lol dude, go ahead, you started it anyways.
As long as there is a forum for question and answer for this device, I don't see anything wrong in asking them, no matter how dumb. But you go ahead and be a jerk, I don't have time for it. But it's good to see there are people who are genuinely ready to help.
Hi, I had this head unit for a few days, it's an Hikity QN8035, stereo's perfect and all exept for the microphones. After a few test I saw that even when the external microphone is plugged in, it keeps using the internal one, which is trash. Is there any way to fix this? I'll put some pics below of the head unit
Not MTCB, requested moderator moves to Android Head-Units forum.
Op, remove the internal mic or contact seller

If you have a read through the forums, you'll find discussion.
Your internal mic is not disconnected, that is correct. The why is due to incompetence.
Take some time here, have a read through.

It is an odd ball. I'm sure you searched first and found nothing applicable here, so asking the question.
With your list of wants, you might consider unskilling to figure out how to do it, if it is possible on your device or cut your losses and buy a more common type of device having plenty of info here - after reading the forums.
For me it looks like the wrong decision to buy this unit.
It looks like one of these cheapo T3 units.
Some more information may be in one of these threads: https://forum.xda-developers.com/se...c[child_nodes]=1&c[nodes][0]=4267&o=relevance

Why not asking here before buying this thing?
Now no one can say anything about this unit. You would be the one who would be able to tell something about it after you got it installed or attached to a power supply.
It's Linux, not Android.
I dunno, I read a mfg comment. I think it's a case of Amazon attaching comments to the wrong product.
Hey, XDA, why can't I delete posts of mine that are stupid?

What does the seller suggest when contacted for such an update.
Search results here indicate discussion around this unit

No response from seller. Hence I am trying to figure out something on XDA. Even I checked some 4pda discussions but no firmware is available which can be updated in normal way.
