Hello, while using my phone, the battery ran out and turned off. now my phone won't turn on at all.
I tried pressing all the keys at the same time but it didn't work. when i connect my phone to computer i get the error =qhsusb_bulk, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

My Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) was working perfectly until I noticed that amber charging indicator was not on when I plugged the charger into it.
Soon after finding this problem, I found bigger problem. It won't turn on or turn off when I press the power button.
Only ways to turn it on are to press the reset button or to pull out or push in mini SD card. Once it is on, the 8125 works fine. I set the 8125 "turn off device if not used for 1minute" in Battery Power setting for turning it off.
For some reason, amber charging indicator is now back on and the battery is charged OK and it lasts 3-4 days as it did before. But it still won't turn on or off.
I even tried Hard Reset but it didn't fix the problem.
Would it be simply a power button problem?
Has anyone had the same problem and found a cure for it?

I am having the same problem on my phone. Did you guys fix the problem? Can some one please help.
1. Has it been dropped before?
2. Which charger, wall or USB?
i just have my new HD2 for 3 weeks, when i connect my phone at night to charger , when i wake up it get stuck doing nothing, or turn off. the only reason to open it is the reset button.
is it better to put some other rom?

I have a Samsung focus that I got used and is not turning on using the power button.
If I plug in the charger and wait for a few minutes then it turns on and everything works fine but once I completely turn the phone off I am not able to
turn the phone back on using the power-button.
Only way to turn the phone on is if I plug in the charger.
Anyone Have this problem?? or know how to fix?

Same here, started yesterday.
Also it turns off by pressing the pwr button instead of locking the screen.
Now i only can access download mode and magldr

Yes I pulled the Battery out.
Only way to turn the phone back on is if I plugin the charger and wait a few minutes then it turns on.
the power-button only works if it on. if its off completely it does not work.
The fact that the button will turn it off means the button provides the circuit closure required to trigger the toggle from on to off. Electrically, there is no fault. Time to flash a new ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528984 This one works really good.
Hello! I am running cyanogenmod and Timur Rom on 2012 N7. I have tasker to detect power on and power off but here's my trouble..
The N7 will only detect power when the display is on!?!?!?!
If the display is turned off or times out or is locked and I give it power, the display doesnt turn back on automatically. I turn it on manually with the lock button on the side and the battery shows no charge coming through.
With the display still on, i unplug and plug the power back in and it works fine!
I tested it on the PC. PC detects the N7 fine and sees the HDD. Even with the display off, the PC will detect the N7 and I can explore folders but the N7 still receives no power until I manually turn the screen on and unplug and plug the charger back in!
This is preventing me from doing the car dash install because I cannot depend on the N7 to turn on display automatically because it does not detect power with screen off. Only with screen on!
I have went through all settings a million times, tried every 101 troubleshooting step, and I cannot figure it out.
Please, please, please help me figure this out. It's driving me crazy! :cyclops:
So every so often the power button will not turn on the screen or it takes a few trys for it to actually work. yesterday my phone died i plugged it in on the way home from work obviously it didn't charge much but it turned on i was using it everything was fine. Later that night it died again i plugged it in walked away came back a hour later and it was still off and would not turn on. tried multiple cords and even letting it charge over night and still nothing it will not turn on. Please help what do I do?
