Just Bought Pioneer Tab SD835 from Motorbhp.com - Android Head-Units

I just was searching on google for car stereo with good sound output. Found a few sites in which motorbhp.com stood out of the crowd due to its price for my favorite android and my favorite brand Pioneer. Believe me got it for just Rs. 27,800/-. Amazing: friends. They also have other car accessories and car stereo systems. Here in Kerala its difficult to find stereos at good prices. The offline store was asking for around Rs. 33,000/-. So saved quite a lot of money. And guess what i am going to buy speakers even from motorbh.com.

Recommendation on head units with good quality

Hello,
I'm looking for recommendations on quality head units with navi, gps and dab+. In particular, for vw golf 6 with "RNS-look" unit.
I don't know much about the different brands etc. so I'm hoping I can get some recommendations from you guys
I'm currently looking at a unit on ebay, it's from "A Sure" (HK). That's what I can see from the ad. Seller name is usasure2008.

Is there an Audiophile grade Android unit yet?

I'm waiting for an Audiophile grade unit. Is there a unit out that has the following:
Hi-Res DAC (Hopefully at least 32-bit/192kHz)
Optical out
Volume Knob (not a deal breaker)
3gb of ram or more
speedy processor
Nice screen size at least 7"
Nice 31 band EQ or 15 bands for left and right
And if these are not available, are any of the manufacturers on this board that can push for this type of product? I truly believe if there was such a unit, that they would kill the market in one year.

First, there are no such units available.
Second, I think you overestimate the market for something like that. The "audiophile" is a very VERY fringe market.
What is needed, is generally better quality hardware. Something with mainstream parts, like a high end qualcomm SoC, and supported by some outfit that is actually *COMPETENT*.
The better overall quality hardware would naturally have better quality audio come along for the ride, and this would definitely be enough.

What would be the 'best' constructed head unit right now?
I was looking for an Android head unit, and my car dealer wanted to sell me a Parrot Asteroid Smart (with an amazing Android 2.3 and 512MB memory...).
I did multiple searches and got to no conclusion. Probably the best quality 'chinese' head units right now are joying and Xtrons, but even they are not specially good at audio quality.
I read there was a posibility to 'hardware-hack' some PX3 units (but I wanted PX5...)
Any recommendations?
I have recently just removed my android head unit from my car and reinstalled the standard head unit.
The audio out of the android unit is horiffic to say the least. The standard headunit knocks the socks off of the
android unit plus they have the cheek to advertize it as HIFI quality sound.

Dynavin units are the closest from what I've heard with Burr-Brown DACs. But the actual Android side of things is a bit dated

The hardware hack on the PX3's you are referring to... is that the one where they disconnect the BD37xxx from the MCU and connect it to the SoC? If so, point your sights at an INTEL JOYING, because the BD37033 *IS* connected to the SoC, and is directly controllable.

Few questions before buying

Hello
I've found a Nexus 7 2013 online selling for 75 USD. I've never really searched for the Nexus before now so i'm unsure if this is actually a decent or even good price, or if it's pretty normal.
Also, i'm planing to use it for my car. How good is the aux output? I'm asking because not too long ago i bought a Lenovo Tab 7 tb-7504x. But the aux output isn't really good. Sound quality is ok, but the volume is too low. Before that i used an old HTC Flyer, and the Audio was both, louder and better quality wise.
Thanks
If you're planning to use it in your car, ensure the USB port is'nt faulty. The 2013's micro USB is notoriously known to break. Mine is broken, but luckily the 2013 has wireless charging, so I can still charge it with a QI charger.

Advice and opinion on purchasing 2DIN ANDROID

Hello everyone.
I have a Hyundai Accent 2008 and I want to upgrade the multimedia system I currently have and connect to the car amplifier. It is important for me to hear it in quality, also that I can make Android version updates and that its body will be thick and not really thin because what I currently have is with a thin body and the system does not sit properly because of it in the vehicle.
I would love to hear reviews and recommendations from you for purchase from Express and also recommended that I take a system with PX6 and DSP and also that the screen will be IPS and I saw Express owners for example that there are many that have only DSP and not PX6 and a little cheaper for what price do you recommend? What are the differences? I would love to receive links to your suggestions.

Sound Quality on PX6 units with DSPs

I recently purchased a Mercedes 2005 CDI and I gotta say I love this car. The COMAND is solid but definitely outdated. I started looking around for drop-in head units and found the 2 big players Avin and Dynavin for the W211. No looking at older posts (2018 and before) i hear a lot of people beating up on the units because they are Chinese made. But present-day it seems like there have been strides and upgrades in chips that are being used. So I'm wondering is there really going to be a noticeable sound difference between a Bluetooth-connected 3.5 mm adapter going through the command and a properly tuned Avin or Dynavin unit going through a MOST adapter to a factory amp and speakers? Looking at XDA it seems like the chips used in the AVIN is TDA7851F (I am waiting on confirmation on this from AVIN). The TDA7851 is actually the same as a pioneer chip (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/a...2171s.3891089/). The Dynavin is a burr-brown (or Texas Instrument chipset) now I'm not sure how plays with the most adapter. But in the end, it seems like the hardware is there for improved sounds. Does anyone on here have objective data to swing the conversation one way or another?
The other question is longevity, I've heard the Dynavin units generally have generally received pretty decent reviews and have pretty decent support. I have not heard anything from long-term owners of the Avin. If there are any on here have your units functioned long term?
