Agama Launcher & Sygic Nav - Android Head-Units

Howdy, I have started using Agama Launcher as it seems to be the most polished Launcher I have come across so far but the only thing I can't get to work is the centre of the screen to hook up with Sygic, it shows its connected, I go into Sygic and setup a route but on the agama main screen it just says No Information... I don't know if its a setting I have missed to allow comes between the Launcher or not but wondered if anyone had any thoughts?

I have the same problem

Any solution yet for this issue. I tried to bu no result yet.

The same problem occures with Google Maps, it says connected. I think, it's an Agama problem.

I have done tests. It has to do with the notificaties. Older versions of sygic were showing a direction arrow in the notification area when running in the background, now it only shows the sygic logo. Agama picks up this logo. So it is an nav app issue. Samen behaviour in maps.

Play Store launchers ?

I'm on the new Joying 2GB RAM, Intel unit, 8 inch double din. Sometimes I find the Joying default launcher boring. I wish I could get the KLD Launcher to work on it, but I'm not sure how. So I tried a few from the Play Store.
I used Nova, but it keeps the Dock on the right hand side, instead of putting it at the bottom. Even if you try to force Landscape it keeps it on the right hand side.
I tried a bunch, but I think I found my favorite:

with nova launcher, you can't use landscape dock , but you can disable it, and display on the desk the apps you want , like this .
you can choose icon, size, label or not, etc ...
this is what i did in my car .

How did you get the app drawer icon on the bottom like that?
put your finger on the app drawer's icon (which appears often on the dock (right side) )you keep your finger on it, and slide it to the bottom of the desk .

I figured it out. Leave the dock on, just get rid of the platform, then you can pull it out. If you turn the Dock off entirely the App icon disappeared
Now I need a good clock and weather widget, basically just trying to recreate the KLD launcher

You can create a 'shortcut' or widget to any of the Nova actions (Including open app drawer) on the homescreen.
You can disable the dock, and create an app drawer icon to go anywhere.
Personally, I don't use the app drawer icon. I change Nova's button behavior so that when I press home it opens the app drawer. Look in the settings in Nova. TONS of ways to customize this to your use.
I cant seem to get Widgets to work on any of these launchers. Let me correct that, I can't get a large widget to work, like the clock or whatever. If I put a shortcut, like a playlist in Google Play Music, it works fine. If I try to put on something simple like the Clock widget, it just says no more room on the screen
I have a problem when using nova launcher.
Everytime I set it up and arrange everything the way I like it. After I restart my unit I end up with blank screen tiles (no apps, app drawer, nothing). Which almost had me stuck there since there is no way to access the settings to uninstall nova launcher. But I figured out how to open the GPS with the hardware buttons. That lets me get to the downloaded apps, after I uninstall nova launcher the problem is gone.
Not sure why this happens. But I would like to change the launcher because the stock launcher is kind of boring.
Has anyone tried this Car Launcher Pro? It is made for these units, and has trial version too. I think I'm going with that when I receive my new unit.
Sorry, can't post link here yet.
Looks cool!

I never got it from the Play Store, at one point it was built into Malaysk ROM, but I didn't like the layout

Help setting home launcher or Auto opening app on bootup

I bought a cheap Chinese head unit 8802. I've tried my hardest to set the launcher to one that I have downloaded but no matter what it always opens to the stock launcher. I've also tried automate apps to have the launcher open upon boot but they don't work either.
Any advice would be appreciated! The deep settings where you put the 1983 code in of this unit are all in Chinese and worthless. I would give up but the stock launcher doesn't seem to even let you add apps to the home screen. Otherwise it's a nice cheap unit.
Figured it out thanks to a tip on YouTube. Once I set the default launcher I disconnected the battery and reconnected it and now it boots up to whatever you set as default. Must be the way the unit handles memory.

Agama launcher problem with vertical screen

Hello,
I installed agama launcher in my "tesla style" head unit but I have a problem. If I hide the android top bar, the app resizes but doesn't fit correctly the screen.
Someone has the same problem and knows how to solve it?
Thanks.
Just change to other launcher. Doesnt seem they gonna fix anytime soon

Widget applications

Hello,
I'm looking for some kind of application with which you can drag and drop the widget on the home screen of nova launcher and that widget would be some kind of screen with which you can see the map of waze or google maps. Something like android auto has.
I'm also looking for different radio application that could have widgets on home screen for changing the stations. Or if not widget then different radio application for my Junsun V1 android head unit.
And some kind of bluetooth application with which you can change songs on your phone trough widget.

Widget to display map/current location?

I'd like to show a map (split screen style) with my current location on the home page, but all of the launchers that let me do this are pretty terrible. I'm trying to build something myself w/ Nova.
Any ideas on how I can get a good map widget, ideally using Google Maps since my HU is rarely ever online. The Google Maps "Nearby Traffic" widget doesn't appear in my list.
