As the title, I flashed a old magisk to my device, but it can't compatible with any modules at now. So who can offer some way to install the latest magisk ?

Yes I know the FIRST operation and I uninstall it, but it bricked(And it cost me some money to pay for the fking netdisk to download the recovering package
I mean that the device should flash it with its framework in zip file but nobody make the package for it.

Yep I know this project but this device maybe blocked fastboot, so I can't install it in a normal way , and it is confusing me that why it jumped to the contact page instead of file chooser when I try to patch its boot.img

if fast boot is blocked then go back to original firmware......forget magisk for now and get access to device and unlock bootloader then we can continue

Try this and then this.

[Utility] Android boot Manager APK

Android Boot Manager (ABM), my goal is to make the procedure (Backup, Unpack, Edit, Repack and Flashe boot.img or recovery.img) so easy and accessible to all users without resorting to the command prompt , only a single click to get a quick and successful outcome at the same time .
This is the third version of the program.
Source (GITHUB SOURCE https://github.com/aToxyD/android_boot_image_manager_apk).
WHAT'S NEW
- Some optimization.
- Add new Text Editor with high syntax.
THANKS
* xiaolu, original author of boot.img tool(GITHUB SOURCE https://github.com/xiaolu/mkbootimg_tools).
* Modding.MyMind, for his heavily modification of boot.img tool.
* Tah Wei Hoon, for TextWarrior.
* Dmytro Tarianyk, for Android Floating Action Button.
* Anthony Restaino, for Grant.
IMPORTANT
- Root is only necessary for Unpacking boot patched by "superSu or Magisk" and Backup/Flash Operations, so if you want to unpack stock boot or you have your favorite flasher apk like "Rachr", if so you dont need to check "Root Access" in settings menu.
- Please uninstall any previous version of ABM before installing the newer.
I do not like people to coming here and take what they wanted and leave like a thief , at least leave a comment. . .
This work is for all, so help your self.

This is the second version of the program.
WHAT'S NEW
- Corrected some bugs related to compatibility with Android 6.
- Use xiaolu mkbootimg tools (GITHUB SOURCE https://github.com/xiaolu/mkbootimg_tools)
TODO
- add support to x86, mips arch.
- add support to put files to unpacked folder.
- add support to combinedboot , in Xperia device recovery ramdisk is combined with system ramdisk.
IMPORTANT
- The apk need root access to work.
- Note that make change by adding files to unpacked folder with root explorer, the owner will be root and the apk will not work, if you do this you must change the owner to ABM apk.

FAST GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. My AntiVirus program says the app may be harmful.
A. The exe files I compiled are not digitally signed with a Microsoft certificate, so certain AntiVirus programs will pick it up as potentially harmful when it is not. They will pick up ANY file that doesnt contain a purchased Microsoft certificate in the same way. Restore the deleted file and exclude it from further scans and it will be fine.
Q. While I was trying to unroot during flashing stock boot.IMG, I can't find stock boot.img file in the app.
A. Click "Update" button, and you can download your stock boot.img from MegaDrive. Download them in right folders of the app for easy find. Example: "STOCK_S433_boot.img" in the "K50a40StockBoot" folder.
Q. I am on Stock , what is the first step for rooting?
A. First step before rooting is make "Stock Backup"(you need for OTA Update) and then "Flash TWRP", you will be guided by voice assistant and popup messages. [Tip] For more, read the "Fast guide for beginners".
Q. Can't flash patched boot image. My phone boots into TWRP, I selected adb sideload but nothing happens.
A. ADB in Android and ADB in recovery are two different drivers. If you are running Win10 you could be in luck because it's generic driver.
Boot the phone into recovery and then disconnect/reconnect it to the PC. With a lot of luck Windows detects a new device and installs the driver automatically. If not go through the driver update routine in Device Manager.

*WARNING*: For the program to work properly, you need to install the Lenovo drivers. With the USB attached, run the test with the "Test Device" button. Very important are the Adb drivers for TWRP recovery. In TWRP mode and in normal mode, install the "Lenovo Composite ADB Interface" driver, and everything should work fine.
*Other Warning*: The exe files I compiled are not digitally signed with a Microsoft certificate, so certain AntiVirus programs will pick it up as potentially harmful when it is not. They will pick up ANY file that doesnt contain a purchased Microsoft certificate in the same way. Restore the deleted file and exclude it from further scans and it will be fine.

Sorry I've just seen your response (sorry for my english).
I've found a solution.
You have to install adb before and USB Debugging enabled.
Plug the phone into PC and change it from charge only to file transfer.
In the folder where adb is installed, you have to do SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK to open PowerShell.
Then, in the terminal, enter :
adb devices
This print the serial number of the device (first time you have to click ok on the phone).
after, enter :
adb shell
You are into your phone.
execute the next command :
pm uninstall -k --user 0 "name of package"
(without quote. You can see the name of package in Titanium or SD Maid for exemple.)
Done
It seems to be ok for me.

This command is used to hide the app from the main user, the apk file is still here and if you factory reset the apps will be there again.
If it doesn't bother tho that's cool
Pre-installed apps ( so called bloatware ) typically are located in /system/priv-apps, their owner typically is ROOT what means they can't get uninstalled / deleted by ordinary Android user ( e.g user 0 ), so, disabling them pretty much remains your only option.

Hi @012345678. Thanks for your interest in my SystemRW project.
Sorry but unauthorized, unofficial, unverified re-uploads of my SystemRW files (or parts thereof) are not allowed!
Therefore I must please ask you to remove your unauthorized, unofficial, incomplete re-upload of my SystemRW project from your comment above. The unofficial version that you re-uploaded it's missing the original sysrw_repair script!

Just to say : doesn't work on Oxygen OS 11.0.11.11 IN11BA.
That's all.
Have a good day
Hi @Johncaffee thanks for your feedback. What exactly is the problem with your OnePlus device? You must tell me now because I'm working on brand new version which will be released very very soon (this month!)
It's work with older Oxygen firmware version but not with new firmware version?
Development of new version took a little bit longer than expected because my SystemRW / SuperRW featuring MakeRW by lebigmac project was stolen, hacked, rebranded and reuploaded as their own by multiple hacker thieves in the meantime. It's almost impossible to protect open source or even closed source software from ruthless cyber pirates nowadays. Anyone good with obfuscation and encryption please contact me now thanks!
Thanks you too have a nice day

Use the guide as in that post (the same can be also found in the XDA V4A general thread):
zgfg said:
There is actually an easier way to fix Viper4Android, follow the original post where the fix was described:
[APP][ALL ROOT SOLUTIONS][6.0+]ViPER4Android FX 2.7
ViPER4Android FX By pittvandewitt and MrWhite214 Introduction Many users are enhancing their smartphone audio experience with the popular ViPER4Android software, but some of us have a hard time installing the driver or they don't like the look...
forum.xda-developers.com
In other words, replace (use TWRP or root explorer like MiXplorer)
/data/adb/modules/ViPER4AndroidFX/post-fs-data.sh
with the attached file (download and unzip) and reboot
Still make sure that Legacy mode in V4A Settings is enabled
AML module makes no harm but it's not needed (unless you install additional audio modules like mi9tpbitrate320.zip)
---
In case of installing V4A from scratch:
- install ViPER4Android_FX-v2.7.2.1.zip from Repo (through Magisk) and reboot
- open Viper4Android app and let it install the driver, it will reboot
- replace post-fs-data.sh as above and reboot once again
- open Viper4Android app and enable Legacy mode in its Setrings
- also, don't forget to enable Master limiter for e.g. speaker or headphones
Check the driver status, it must show Status Normal (and Processing Yes when playing nusic)
---
I have Xiaomi.eu A11 beta and I regularly update every week when they release (by dirty flashing their new MIUI zip release, wiping Dalwik and Cache and by flashing the new boot img patched by Magisk)
Up to the two weeks ago I had to re-do the relatively complicated procedure for V4A as was described in this thread upon every Xiaomi.eu update
Since two weeks ago when I replaced the post-fs-data.sh as described above, I just dirty flash Xiaomi.eu, apply root/Magisk, and my V4A continues to work as my all other installed Magisk modules (and root apps), with no needs to fix the V4A driver anymore
PS: This 'new' method with the modified post-fs-data.sh is specifically useful for Magisk Canary 22006 since Magisk 22006 has a known bug with processing the sepolicy.rule files (also in /data/adb/modules/ViPER4AndroidFX), and hence the 'old' method from this thread does not work with Magisk 22006 - but the 'new' method does work (I currently use that Magisk 22006)

In the thread I gave you the link, use of AML was also described. But I'm no more using AML and cannot/won't support you about
In my previous post there is s link to my post with the guide using post-fs-data.sh (sorry, I'm not going to send the link again)
Click on that post and inside you will find post-fs-data.zip.
It was described in details, so once again but only shortly here:
- download the zip, extract post-fs-data.sh
- use your favorite root File Manager (like MiXplorer - google on XDA to find its thread and installation if needed) or use TWRP, Advanced, its File Manager (again, google if needed to learn how to use).
Anyway, those skills and tools will be useful for you in future if you decided to go with Magisk, its modules, etc
- go to /data/adb/modules/Viper4Android FX and rename the existing post-fs-data.sh to post-fs-data.bak (just in case) and paste instead the post-fs-data.sh you extracted from my zip (see screenshot)
-reboot
- open V4A app, go to its settings and enable Legacy mode (again, see the screenshots in my post with the guide)
Dear brother
I have understood what you said, but I can't find zip file from your previous post, one more thing v4a fx working with legacy mode, but when I close legacy mode it cannot support.
Thanks for replying on my post.

Zip attachement was there, you have to go to that post and scroll down through the whole post, it was the last attachement (scrollshot below, click to open and scroll down, it's very long)
Do not read just my post there but study the whole thread and you will see that bobod made it working without Legacy mode on Mi 9T (Pro or not Pro). Google for the general V4A thread on XDA and you will see that most of users/phones can only work with Legacy mode. If you don't like, don't use V4A. Btw, what's wrong with, besides that is called 'legacy'
Dear brother
Still I can't find the zip file, I have goes through whole post and I can't get zip files.
I request you to pls upload once more....
Thanks for guidance...

How to root OxygenOS 12?

Hello there, I've never rooted a phone before but would love to try it with Android 12 finally coming out as stable on the OnePlus 8 Pro. So as a complete noob, can anyone walk me through it, or does anyone have a handy thread that takes me through all of it? Thank you!
Same method with OOS11 (other thread), u need full OTA OOS 12 to detached the boot.img and patch it with magisk.
- Or easier just on OOS11 rooted => update to OSS 12 (after install finished, dont reboot, go to magisk select install to inactive slot, now reboot)

As i know, there is still no downloadable full OTA file for stable OOS 12,
then root method is root at OOS 11 then update after.
to do that, imo, u need to find read and research some old thread to know about that phone before.
its easier than someone will write here for you.

Ah okay, thank you! Do you know how long it usually takes for an OTA file to come out? Or, if you could, help me through going back to OOS11, rooting it, and then updating to OOS12 and keeping root?

I guess you already setup adb/fastboot on your pc. If not google it.
-connect phone to the pc and activate usb debugging in your phones developer settings(unlock developer settings by tapping 5 times about phone)
-run a windows shell in the folder where you setup adb and fastboot.exe
-type the following in shell
adb reboot bootloader
Your phone will boot into the bootloader
type:
fastboot flash boot BootIMG-Magisk24.3_IN2025_11_C.11.img

And that's just it? Wow! Thank you!
Edit- It just say "Waiting for the device in the Shell. What do I do? And it doesn't show up with "fastboot devices" It also says there's no driver under windows device manager.
edit 2 - nvm I figured it out, turns out I hadn't installed the USB drivers

I'm guessing that it's not a good idea to OTA root from oos11 to 12?

What do you mean? To preserve root with the inactive slot method within magisk?
I root my device with flashing a patched boot img.

Well that how yo'd normally do it, but for some reason when you do that on the OOS12 upgrade its get really weird.

This is not as easy as you might think. The default payload dumper (and the Go version) cannot handle these incremental OTAs:

Unfortunately, this payload extractor fork is broken on windows. I had to set up a Ubuntu VM to run it.
The entire process took the majority of my afternoon
Attached is the extracted boot.img, both magisk patched and unpatched. Hopefully it saves others some time.
