ticwatch e3 load standard Android OS 8.1 or greater - Other SmartWatches

Hello all,
I have the Ticwatch E3. I would like to install a standard Android OS rather than wear-os on this device. Is it possible and where would I start? I'm new to such endevours so more detailed information would be better than brevity.
Thanks ahead of time, fyi this is for a real good cause. I'm developing a seizure monitoring system and it will change lives....

Change Device certification of a ROM

Hey guys. I just wanted to ask if it's possible to change the Device certification of the CM13 Rom of the Honor 4C/X it's actually pretty much the same as our device and I just wanted to test around a bit. I'm not so experienced in Android Developement, so I decided to ask here. What do I need?

Custom ROMs like Lineage OS for Android Wear smartwatches

Recently I have been wondering if it would be possible to have a Lineage-like custom ROM for Android Wear smartwatches. Since it is possible to unlock the bootloader and install custom software on such a smartwatch, why wouldn't it be possible to install a custom-made OS on a device of this kind?
Please excuse me if this question has been answered before.
Came here for the same question, over half a year later...
look for Project open watch

There are a early builds like AsteroidOS and FitWear. I have tested both AsteroidOS is in a very early state of development. check out this page: https://asteroidos.org/. And FitWear supports a few chinese APPs. But this OS isnt't practicable yet for a every day use.

Yoga Smart Tab

Hello,
So I got a Lenovo Smart Tab (yt-x703f) and really want to flash TWRP to it, so I can flash LineageOS rom, but it seems like there's no support for it, or even a subthread on XDA.
(I tried various twrp images)
Anyone got some experience with that tablet and have something working?
Cheers
For some reason this device gets the silent treatment on all fora. I can't figure out why, this could be a great multimedia device with some adjustments. batt life is great as is the sound. Screen is ok ish and the speed needs to be tweaked, but no one is willing to tweak
You can root the device and even flash a GSI on it. Tested myself and everything is working
Yoga Smart Tab - Iron GreyPart Number: ZA3V0005US
Not sure if we are talking about the same device but lenovo does not support their mid tier devices with OS updates and would like to install a bloatless OS also pie is really dated and wondering if i will run in to issues with app compatibility. There is also that issue where it won't run HD in netflix because netflix is a static app and can not be removed and reinstalled. Hence bloatware and would love a clean google experience.

Flashing a GSI might help if the device supports Project Treble. Basically any device launched with Android 8 and above should support Project Treble.
Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga smart tab (YT-X705L) and I want to install a new rom on it. I’m not an IT wizard so I need help with that. Would you find anyone who can give step-by-step instructions from start to finish with download links.
And if you can find experiences on how anything works (which is GSI). Thanks in advance.

Hello @mrfreakFIN . I have made a detailed thread about flashing GSI on this tablet. Check it here

HTC Wildfire E Lite

I have a HTC Wildfire E Lite as a backup phone. I realise it's not like the old HTC devices in the rest of this forum - it's pretty generic hardware I suspect.
It runs Android 10 Go Edition, which I really don't like. Ideally I'd like to install a fully-fledged version of Android. To this end I've managed to unlock the bootloader, and now require a (stock) Android 10 image. Failing that, even just the right boot image for rooting (I've tried Kingoroot - no luck).. But after searching the web I can't find anything for this model of phone. Given its generic hardware, is it possible to use an image made for other devices?
Specs:
Android v10 (Q)
Quad core, 1.8 GHz, Cortex A53 processor
MediaTek Helio A20 Chipset
2 GB RAM
32 GB internal storage
Hi.
I might have an idea on how you could go about this.
Don't get me wrong: I'm not a tech guru but the info I have should be able to get you what you want.
I got most of these info because of my desperation for optimization when I owned a potato (Infinix Smart 3). It literally had no Dev support, even in XDA. My recent phone has no support either but it's smooth enough for me so I'll just share my knowledge with you!
First, I'll advice you to backup your stock ROM. Have you heard of Wwr MTK? Or SP flash tool? These are the Mediatek tools you'll need to backup your stock images. JSYK your processor, Helio A20, is codenamed MT6761D. That'll come in handy!
Use this video to learn more on how to use them:
And please I'll have to beg you not to use Kingoroot. It's a very dated root method so I'll advice you to use Magisk. Here (https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk), you'll get all the info you'll need to install Magisk.
Also, if you're looking for a stable custom ROM to use, you can use Android 10 or Android 11 GSI system image from XDA recognised Phh. Find them here( https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases)
Also, if you want to have the same experience as on Google Pixel devices, you could also use Pixel Experience or Pixel Experience+ GSIs. Find them here (https://github.com/ponces/treble_build_pe/releases)
If you run into any issues, you could contact me on WhatsApp (https://wa.me/2348107260090)
Or Telegram (https://t.me/si_nach) or just search @si_nach
Hope this helps! Have Fun!
Awesome! Thank you! I'm going to give it a go in the next few days and will update with the results. Much appreciated
