Searched in these forums and didn't found a working solution yet ... it it possible to easily share files (i.e: music / videos) between multiple users without using cloud based solution. Is there a folder accessible for all user?
Or anyone managed to create one with root privileges (i.e.: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1993351) ?
Good question... and I'm searching for the answer too...
I purchased a SMA-R smartwatch. The official app for this watch is the Fundo Wear app. When I load VXP files into the appmanager folder the VXPs do not show up in the app. I have installed the Mediatek smartdevice app. The VXP files show up, I can install them on the watch, even get an install message on the watch, but the installed faces do not show up.
Anyone know how to load custom faces on this watch?
My appologies if this has been covered before. SMA-R search comes up with every mention of "smartwatch".

Hi,
I have sma watch too, it was working at this form:
Connetct the watch with the cable to the computer, open at mass storage mode. On the computer copy the folders to the watch, maximum 3 at one time, no more!
After this, on the watch at file manager go to the folder you want's to install, open vxp file and look, it is works on the watch.
Very important, no more than 3 install same time!
Before you uninstall watchface from watch, make your watchface for original watchface what was come with the watch! If not, your watch will be bricked as mine.
Please make a save from your firmware because my is bricked and I search for firmware.
Here is the step by step guide to make it.
Please post the firmware here in xda.

Hi, before I say anything you should know that my phone is Lenovo A 6010 Plus, as I couldn't find my phone model in the phone search in xda labs. If you want to know the specs, search it yourself as I am not allowed to post outside links
so I am new to this whole rooting and customizing thing. I have just rooted my phone yesterday and so far I didn't run into any problems
But actually, my sole purpose of me rooting my phone is customization, and there is a specific thing i want to change in my phone and that is the notification panel look
My question is, is it possible to change how the notification panel look using Root Explorer only, by editing the prop.build file or something similar, I already enabled soft keys using the same way
Basically, i want it to change it into Android material notification panel
I know that I can change them using Xposed modules and that brings us to my second question. As you all know, starting from Android 5.0.x, it isn't possible to directly install Xposed framework from The Xposed installer app and it must be flashed using custom recovery which I cant find one to my phone model
Now to my question, is it possible to flash Xposed framework without using custom recovery? And how to backup everything if something goes wrong?
I hope I provided enough information about my question
Thank you,
Secure Folder
Hi This is Sathya
I'm using Samsung galaxy on max
Actually I didn't sign in to any account that related to secure folder but I just moved a folder to secure folder. How can I get back that folder?.
Is there any possible way? Pls help me out.
Hi all,
First of all - forgive me if the subject has been up before - I did a bit of searching, but could't really find much about the subject.
I'm generally very pleased with the Mi A1 (my 4th "main" android phone after HTC Desire, SGS3 & OPO) but one thing that is giving me a bit of grief is this thing with access to my sd card, more precisely with copying content to the card by using different apps like root explorer, dropbox, dropsync pro etc.
Two very common actions in my usage are:
- Start an ftp-server on the phone and push new episodes of whatever tv-series I'm watching for the moment from computer to phone
- Open root explorer in my phone and copy stuff from my Dropbox folder to my phone (and back)
Neither of these actions can be done in my A1 (stock Oreo). The phone actually give the appearance of giving me the option to choose the sd-card but when trying to actually transfer something there it get's stuck before finishing or just return an error when trying.
So my question is - to get back to actually having rights to transfer stuff to my SD card without any problems, which of the below options would be the "easiest":
1. Does this work if I downgrade to Nougat?
2. Would rooting be enough if I stay on Oreo?
3. Can I transfer more freely with LOS 15.x?
4. Other options?
I actually found one thread mentioning this as a problem in stock Oreo so I know I'm not alone with the problem.
Thanks in advance,
/gosa
Hi,
Found this when searching Google for solutions this problem.
At the moment my only way of getting files onto the memory card is to download them to the internal storage and then using "Stock" file manager to copy them to the memory card... A bit to many steps if you ask me.
I was thinking that rooting might solve it but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Here one more with the same problem. I have the My A1 in ROM Stock Oreo 8 with root via magisk, and it is tedious and annoying not to be able to write to the external SD. I use ADM, apps for downloads Torrent, Solid Explorer.
Having Root I had the opportunity to try several possible solutions. Here some of them (note: none worked, nor resolved) I expose them in case someone else wants to try, possibly something will work for them.
Root ??????
SDFix: KitKat Writable MicroSD. (Developed by NextApp)
Magisk Modules??????
App Systemizer
ExSDCard Access Enabler
Xposed ??????
Marshmallow SD fix
KitKat SD Card Full Access (Caution: gives many errors in OS)
Handle External Storage
One way to take it with Solid Explore (it's more visual than the Stock Explorer):
* Solid Explorer, to paste or write to SD, always go to Root / mnt / media_RW / SD Card
As I mentioned. None of the above worked for me.
The only way to solve the problem momentarily is to download and use the apps all in the internal memory, with the stock file explorer moving the files to the external SD in a step later.
If someone can give light to this problem or a possible solution I will be very grateful.
*(sorry for my English)
Have you tried binding folder/creating softlink
Could you explain how it is done? Or inform about the subject.
Just got 8.1 and the problem is gone.
Hello all, I have just signed up because this seems to be a good place for me to ask questions. I purchased an Eincar Octo-core, 32GB ROM, 2GB RAM running Android 7.1.2. I know very little about Android Headunit but require some help if anyone is able to.
For some reason it won't recognise .MP4 files so I am unable to watch any films in this format. It plays AVI, MKV and other file formats without any problems.
The internal mic is terrible so I purchased an external mic from Wish, which is a big improvement.
I read somewhere that the unit can be flashed with something like Pumpkin/Joying firmware which will allow me to root but not sure how or if it's definitely possible? I would like to install apps like Viper4Android but need root access. I've tried KingoRoot and it fails every time.
