Hello i recently got a zte blade from my provider (tmn in portugal) here they call it a5 i already installed two diferent froyo roms but i lose the camera and everytime the device goes to sleep thouchscreen just stops responding, i'm guessing its a drivers issue, is there any way to add my stock rom camera and thouchscreen drivers to a froyo custom rom ?
Thx in advance
no, it is kernel based. wait for the Japanese froyo dump.
another reminder, wrong thread. please keep to forum rules
can't he just use the stock kernel instead of the one from the custom rom?
Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the .35 Kernel. I'm just going to explain my situation and maybe it might help some others too.
Right now I'm using the MIUI Elite X1 ROM by TerraMino (Fantastic Job) in combination with Franco's .32 Kernel. I'd like to try out some ROM's based on the .35 Kernel like Aurora or MIUI V4.
However, I've tried installing some .35 based ROM's with the thought that the .35 Kernel would automatically be installed, this, however, doesn't seem to happen though because I can't seem to get my battery status and WiFi to work in every .35 based ROM, the .32 Kernel is still in use with .35 based ROM's.
What is the solution to this or do I need to install a .35 Kernel manually?
Thanks!
You must install an official, stock 2.3 update from Huawei to get the .35 kernel installed. I recommend version B518. Get it from R4DK0's mirror: qrac.zapto.org
Install it by copying the dload folder to your SD card root, then turning off the phone and restarting it with volume +, - and power buttons held down together. After updating, you'll have to reinstall CWM with version 5.0.2.7 or 5.5.2.3, available from the aforelinked repository. Now you can flash any 2.6.35 based ROM, including Aurora. Good luck.

Thanks, I figured it out. Seems that my IMEI is 0, and since I didn't back it up, well... Guess I'm **** outta luck!
Hey. I wonder if anyone around here has the stock ROM for this device? I don't mean a backup, I mean a CWM flashable ZIP or stock ROM image.
It's the Alcatel One Touch Pop C7 7041x.

This is vanila stock rom without the custpack games/apps bloatware. I found it somewhere on the web and i've used it for a few days before trying MiUI V5.
It works perfectly but keep in mind that it's based on the 1st build version from TCT Firmware (010001) whereas the latest Firmware build is 010003 and that there are only a few select of languages to choose from.
On the build part, I don't even think there are any significant changes and most likely only minor bug fixes.
Just flash the zip with cwm or twrp. (The installer is in spanish, just ignore that you can use the phone in english)

*I have not uploaded this file, nor am i responsible for any damages or errors that might occur during flash, use at own risk! (<- being formal, don't worry everything works just fine)
check for other C7 related stuff incl. MIUI V5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/backups-alcatel-ot-pop-c7-7041x-t3039395
Hi, Guys Im A rom tester since 2 weeks I Installed Some Roms Like Lineage Os,Aosp,FireHound Rom But After Installation Phone Boot But Touch Did Not Working.....
As far as i know the touch screen doesn't infects by installing other ROM's, it's a kernel that does infects. I think it's a hardware issue. Try to flash the original Mi A1 from the original site : http://en.miui.com/download-333.html

Flash meta kernel
Hello guys.
I have a Dual XZ (F3882) and since first Pie Release, i was unable to boot up any PIE rom. I came from Omni Oreo Rom (already used AOSP Oreo Rom in 2017) and everthing worked fine (camera, ril, bluetooth, etc). When Sony released Stock Oreo, i flashed stock firmware and stay on it until firmware 184 (with ubl + magisk), so my bootloader is updated to last firmware (i guess).
Another day, one Dev created a 4.4. kernel and ask me to test it in boot rom and then my device boot up in Pie Rom. Using this kernel, many features is broken, like camera, external sdcard, flashlight, etc
Seems that my device has some problem or 4.9 source code is not okay yet.
So i decided to create this bouty, because i do not wanna sell my phone, and wanna solve the problem that prevents my device boot up to 4.9 kernel or create a patch that i can flash over to fix news kernels.
I don't setup the value for the awards but I think that interested person could be says a value and we make a deal for effort.
Hope somebody take this Challenge.

I need a fix for pie kernel not stock one. But thx to try to help.
Flash your device with flashtool via xperifirm (not external .ftf) to stock and check every wipe option except any TA stuff, then try again reflashing your Pie rom the way it worked before.
Had the same problem of kernel issues "sticking" even after flashing ftf, this worked for me.
