Hi, I'm new and I have a problem with my Poco m3. I searched but I cannot find any permanent solution. I can't watch a full screen video on YouTube with any browser, kiwi, brave, chrome. I tried a lot of ROM, this is why I am writing here. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your time, and if I did anything wrong, it is my first time on XDA, have mercy.

Sadly, there is nothing in there related to my problem.

Hello, I bought an Avent Vega Tablet and I've been using it for a couple of weeks, but now I've noticed artifacts on the screen while using it. They are like black flickering lines. Does anyone know if this is a hardware or software problem. It does it most of the time when surfing or gaming. I'm using the Dolphin Browser and playing games such as Fritz chess and there's black flickering lines all over the screen. Most of the time they temporarily disappear if I press the home screen and go back into the app, but they eventually come back again. Maybe it's just a gpu driver problem. Any ideas what the cause might be? Overheating?
Thanks!

Welcome to xda dev, i notice this is your first post
It is a gpu driver issue. Has been always been there. What rom are you running, v1.09 is better than v1.08.
Thanks!
Hi ganjaman, I'm also running Rom 1.09. So are there any new drivers available that fixes the problem?
Not that i am aware of at the moment.
Ok thanks. I'll probably try reflashing it. Hopefully that will fix the problem.
Flash it as many times as you like, it will not fix the artifacts.
PEACE!!
Just received my N10 and booted it and had a strange issue. Each time I boot the device I get white noise artifacts. Is anyone having this issue? Doesn't seems widespread from what I'm seeing on youtube.
See an example from Marques Brownlee on youtube (video titled: Nexus 10 Unboxing & First Impressions!)
Sorry can't post link since i'm a new user an xda.
Looks like an HW issue to me...should I RMA?

I haven't seen it in reboot, but I have seen some screen artifacts when running Quadrant sporadically.
I believe I had some white artifacting at the very bottom of the screen on the first boot; but nothing after that first boot
Even this seems to have them
doesnt complain about the device though

Just updated to 4.2 and unit rebooted to install. From now on seems ok
I guess it's a first boot thing.
Thanks
EDIT: Spoken too fast...having the issue again most of the time I power up the tablet. (Cold boot)
After the Google logo everything's fine. No artifacts in youtube, games, etc. Maybe it's a random software bug.

I have the same problem. And my camera has stopped working...
Yeah what's up with this?
I just noticed my wife's N10 also has this. Running stock 4.4. At cold boot bit of noise on the lowers screen, just like the youtube link above.
Same here. White artefacts just before google logo. It does not look like something to worry about, but I was suprised to see that after I unboxed my n.

Hello everyone, I want to share with you a problem that I met with my S8 since I have it (<1 week).
Everything works fine except when the screen shows a video, whatever it's on YouTube, FB, Twitter, or even integrated videos on other apps, on the screen appears some randomly placed lines of pixel that are not refreshing, like a lag, and generally it makes the phone crash and reboot.
This problem is kind of random also, maybe 80% of the time.
Also this problem doesn't occurs when watching GIF or playing games
From my point of view, I have no clue if the issue is software or hardware.
For now all I tried is :
- Factory reset from the recovery
- Factory reset from Odin
- Safe mod boot (and it is still doing the same problem)
- Installed Android 8.0 beta
- tried to modify the animations on the development mode
- modified the screen resolution
And nothing is working. For now I didn't wanted to root it and install a custom ROM, because I don't know if it will change anything.
Anyway if you have an idea what it could be I would be really thankful. Also I heard that some had an issue with random reboots, but i've never seen a post mentioning this issue.
My s8 is a SM-G950F
Did you find any solution?
Both mine and my wife's 6t are behaving weird. When we are watching Netflix, Youtube or any other apps, after a while, some random stop / resume happens, like if there is a bug with the touch screen....
I did some research and some say it's PIP, other because battery optimization...I tried all, even factory reset....
Does someone has the same issue or discovered how to fix this?
Thanks!

Try it with deep optimization off in battery optimization settings in the three dots menu.

Honestly, I thought about this...if nothing else helps I will peel that off and check if the issue disappears.
I had this happen when I was on oos as well, YouTube would just randomly pause all by itself. I also do not use a screen protector so that is not a problem, after switching to a custom aosp rom it no longer happens leading me to believe it's an oos bug while playing video ( only ever happened to me while watching videos never playing music).
If someone is facing the same problem, I think I figured it out. It had to do with an app that had permissions to be an administrator under the security menu.
Once I disable it the issue stopped.
Similar thing happening to me too, except youtube, google maps minimise to PiP randomly. Disabled PiP for both apps and it works fine now, although its annoying that i've lost that functionality.

My solution solved that PIP issue, at least for me...

I have 2 apps that have admin privileges, both of which need them to work. It's definitely a bug in OOS recently as when I bought the phone I didn't have issues with this.
Hi!
Got myself OnePlus 8 Pro but blacks are not deep enough and there's weird green tint on low brightness..
Isn't it supposed to be the best display ever put on mobile?
Can anyone confirms that after RMA \ replacement the issue got resolved?

Does it happen when you're browsing internet with chrome or not ? Because I experienced a tinted screen too, but only when browsing. Turned out it was a chrome bug, but it wasn't really green, more yellow-ish.
I think there was a post on the OP8 forum, that asked the same thing as you (low light green tint). If it's not chrome, consider searching on the Q'n'A section of the OP8 forums (at XDA, not OP Forums)

Hey, I have been experiencing the same problem lately. While visiting some websites I experience a yellowish tint as well. Some things I observed were, it only happens when I scroll down past a certain limit, and the tint goes away when I scroll back up again. It mostly occurs in facebook and xda. It started like 3-4 days ago, and I updated to the latest firmware around 10 days ago so no major changes could trigger it. Rebooting or resetting does not help

Yep, that a chrome bug, they will iron it out eventually, don't worry, that's not coming from your device
Right, it's the Chrome bug...
Well it happens only when the brightness is low and it's happens when even not using the browser..
Update:
I had to fully factory reset my device + wiped caching from recovery mode on the setup it asked me to restore the settings i had before i declined and started from defaults, the green tint is fully gone!
