I'm in the market for a new phone and I am wondering, can this bootloader be unlocked? I can't seem to find an answer or any instructions as to how to do this? If someone knows how, can you share the link?
The international bootloader is unlocked. Instructions for installing TWRP are found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-...very-official-twrp-hero2lte-3-0-0-0-t3334084. Can someone point me towards a guide for unlocking my bootloader? I have rooted 5.0 and it's still stock but the bootloader is locked. I heard there was an unlock method now but I'm having trouble finding it.

Unfortunately, you can't unlock it anymore. We need to wait for Huawei to change its mind (unlikely) or our developers to come up with an idea how to unlock it.
Both options require waiting...

you may try with DC unlocker, which will fund 4€ for an bootloader unlock code. then you may follow th usual unlock procedure via ADB

After the unlock code is inserted, can we flash any ROM, firmware, kernels, etc? Does it stay unlocked?

It's not oneclick job and took me several evenings to unlock, but it's free and it works. The problem is that you need to get a unique slock file and then again you'll need edit nvme file (or gently ask someone who understands). There are very nice support if you're not pushing them to do magic for you.
All in all, i have unlocked device for several months and now i use OpenKirin Pie.

Hey, i have the model number H873 which is canadian, and i looked on google and this thread etc and havent seen any possibility of bootloader unlocking
So i guess im ****ed. rip lol what do i do, is there still hope for unofficial bootloader unlocking or something¿ Because I do see the OEM Unlocking toggle in dev options. Or am i just stuck with a bootloader locked phone forever?

I know that A205U cannot be bootloader unlocked but I have recently found this thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...devices-no-bl-unlock-required.4543071/page-25 which I think could be helpful for unlocking the A205U's bootloader as it makes us gain access to the system shell. Can someone please tell me if we can make the bootloader unlock option appear with this exploit?
