Hello Oneplussers
Do you also notice that the sound of video recordings is strongly compressed by the standard camera app but also by gcam.
Do you have any tips or other apps?

hey all! i wanted to ask how i can get a better sound recording quality for my htc legend. if you try to record a video with the standard camcorder app, you will notice that the audio recording is very very horrible. there must be a solution for this, because if you download the app "pcm recorder lite" from the android market and try to record your voice, the quality is pretty good!

Oneplus 6t has bad camera app for photos but for recording movies it's even worse.
What app for recording videos do you use?
I'm looking for an app that will have manual options like: manual focus, 24fps, exposure lock, iso, flat video recording.
I have tried Opencamera but its so bugged. It cant record 24fps on our phone and the interface is uncomfortable.
I found HedgeCam 2. It's a fork of Opencamera. It has much better interface but it also has bugs from Opencamera (no 24fps).
Is there any working app?
I really like the gcam port, also for video recording. It's smoothness during zoom in/out is very good, almost as iphone.
The video zoom quality of the Pixel 4 seems to be unusable: https://youtu.be/Hz75V9AkC5g at 4:15 , maybe even worse than digital zoom.
You should send feedback to Google. Does anyone know how to improve the video zoom quality? Maybe a 3rd party app? It could be a software issue. It does seem to use the second camera, but it doesn't seem to use the full resolution of the second camera.
