Hi,
my H910 is not starting Android anymore.
I flashed many KDZ Files (different versions) with LGUP:
First in the mode "partition DL" (selected all partitions), after that I tried it often with "Upgrade" option.
Everything seems to be succesful, but LG V20 is in boot loop at the LG logo.
Sometimes I can see after LG Logo a circle with "erasing" for some miliseconds.
Tried recovery factory reset, circle spins some seconds then reboot and same loop.
Download Mode always works.
Factory reset dialog (recovery) works, but erase progress seems not to work.
I don't know what I should try now anymore.
EDIT:
Downloaded newest LG Universal Mobile Drivers from LG Site and now everything works
For the sake of leaving a record what helped you out of your problem, could you clarify?
You downloaded the latest LG Universal Mobile Drivers from LG site and installed them to your PC, replacing the drivers that seemed to work (the device was visible, LGUP did not complain).
Then you used the LGUP again to load something and that fixed the bootloop. What was that thing you loaded after updating the drivers?

Hi,
yes new drivers from LG site was my solution.
It was correct visible on LGUP before too.
Now I flashed same as before firmware 10f, than dirtysanta root and than recovery. As written in that "How to root" threads.
Seems like old LG drivers hat maybe some problems with Win 10 so that not everything was written correctly.

I've got a T-Mobile D801 and tried flashing to the stock lollipop rom D80130b_00 using TWRP and the instructions on this page, but the flash must have failed. I did a full factory reset back to stock 4.4.3 prior to attempting this flash and I'm not sure what (if anything) I did wrong for the flash to fail. I can boot in factory reset mode and select clear everything, but then I just see the android guy with gears turning for 2 seconds and the phone reboots again.
Now I'm in a bootloop where I get an "error: Boot certification verify" above the T-Mobile startup logo followed by a "Demigod Crash Handler: Critical Error!" screen that provides options for rebooting (volume down) or putting the phone into download mode (volume up). After using the volume up the screen displays "Volume Up is pressed: Jump to Dload mode" and after connecting via USB appears in device manager as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM41)". I can't (1) boot directly into download mode or (2) get back into TWRP.
I've tried both the KDZ and TOT methods listed in this thread and neither are working. The LG Flash Tool 2014 / KDZ option starts the LG Mobile Support Tool, but it fails every time once "S/W Upgrade is in progress" reaches 4% with a generic "Upgrade stopped due to an error" message.
The TOT method fails every time with a "Model Information Check FAIL!" message. The full text is - "PID: NULL, IMEI: NULL, Model: , DLL:801, BIN: BIN_LGD801AT-01-V10c-310-260-AUG-13-2013+0.tot , SWV: , SWOV: , Model Information Check FAIL! , 00000000"
I've also tried using srktool to repair fastboot, but it gets stuck at "waiting for device".
What do I try next?
Finally got back into 4.2.2 using tot method. LG Mobile Support Tool doesn't think updates are available though??
same situation lg g2 d802

Yes, I *think* what happened was that my 30b bootstack was flashed successfully via twrp, but then the actual kdz flash of D80130b_00 failed. I had a lot of trouble at this point - needed to fix qhsusb_bulk problems first, then use the more aggressive TOT flash method to reset to stock 4.2.2.
Finally the LG Mobile Tool was still reading it as having D80130b_00 / lollipop after going back to 4.2.2 via TOT (?). Last step was to do a full restore from the LG Mobile Support Tool (options -> upgrade recovery) and it actually downloaded / flashed D80130b_00 so everything is working well now :good:
If it helps anyone I used the LG backup tool to restore apps / media and have to say that for a stock solution it's pretty solid.
qhsusb_bulk?

you said your g2 was detected as a lge androidnet in device manager but not as a qhsusb_bulk...then what problems have you fixed about qhususb_bulk? and what is the more aggressive tot method different from this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
Were you able to find a solution? I'm in the same situation. Please help!
Hello
I'm new here, I've been modding my lg a few times, always when bricked, kdz or tot files were saving me.
But now I've got real problem.
I was changing ROM from Cyanogen 13 to Cloudy 3.3. I thought I just need to flash rom via recovery (2.8.7.3 bump blastagator). Flashed fine, without any troubles, but when it came to reboot, phone just got stuck on LGs logo.
I knew i f*ed up.
Recovery isn't working, but Download Mode is turning on normally, at least it seems to.
So i tried to flash KDZ, but LG Flash Tool immedently shuts down giving "lg user...." error (don't remember what exacly it was saying).
Then i tried via tot files. But after installing drivers from tutorials, device isn't showed as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port", but as few positions like MTP device or usb serial port(but not in Com ports) and all are marked as devices without drivers. Flash tool for tot also didn't worked here, because it did't found device.
What can i do now? Please help me.
[Edit]
So now, using different drivers somehow Jelly Bean installed by tot method (device didn't appeared as tutorial said, but it worked) phone is booting normally, but i can't again install lollipop with kdz files.
I was trying 3 different drivers, every giving instant error of flash tool.
What can I do now?
[EDIT2] LGUSERCSTool.exe is crashing. How can I install lollipop now?
Are there tot files for lollipop?
Update,
I fixed this problem by using LGUP. My phone was refurbished (ls980) so that's why twrp didn't booted,
Hello,
I have a LG G2 d802 32gb variant. I bought it a week ago. I was running andoid kitkat OS (HK D80220C). It wasn't rooted. I tried to get official updates from about phone section but "no updates". So i decided to manually flash updates from a rooted recovery as i did in my LG G3.
First of all I rooted it by "IOroot". Then tried to install custom recovery by "autorec d802". Everything went good and autorec was also successful. I asked me to reboot into recovery, I pressed yes and then it took me to "fastboot mode". I tried to reboot into OS by pressing power button (As battery is non-removable). Everytime it rebooted back into that fastboot mode. This once happened with me on LG G3. So i tried to flash "laf" and "recovery" image and downloaded from here
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D802/Stock_Firmware
I flashed them by CMD fastboot method. Now it stuck at "LG Logo" and download mode was also started. So i decided to install a stock rom by KDZ or Tot method. First i tried KDZ method. I downloaded stock rom "Hong Kong D80220C_00.kdz" which it was previously running. Also installed all drivers, downloaded flashtools2014 and connected phone while in download mode.
I started KDZ method as told here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
But everytime it shows internal error on "2 or 3 percent". It didn't worked for me. So i decided to do tot mothod.
Download tot file, dll file, LGFlashtool, drivers etc.
Followed whole process which was also described in above post. But when flashtool reached at 94 percent and mobile was being rebooted it showed error
"Fboot check"
"Fboot Check"
"Can't reboot completely"
I tried to turn of phone at this condition by waiting and then doing a factory reset by keys combination but it keeps resetting and rebooting. I searched whole internet but can't find a solution. Can anyone please help me. Because i bought this cellphone a week ago for my friend and i would not be able to face him after showing a sick phone. Please someone help .
Only download mode of phone is working, It also keeps led light on while stuck at logo.

could it be that your phone is refurbished ? and if its says its a d802 in fact is a ls980.?
Alright so this has happened
I was all a happy guy on H915_10e rooted rom on my H910PR when I decided to my destruction, flash Lineage 15.1 with second screen support as well as trying out gamma kernel for second screen. Turned out xda's dl server crapped on me by refusing to letting me download the SS gamma kernel for LOS 15.1
I ended up flashing x86cpu's LOS15.1 and then after a day I only observed phone lasting me 6-8 hrs due to the greyed out NFC and no option to get the problem sorted out (seemingly I am the only one having this issue).
So all I had to do was flash stock kdz again and start from zero to dirtysanta H915 rom
I have sold my PC and thus am left with two laptops (both have USB 2.0 as well as USB 3.0 ports).
I first installed LG drivers WHQL v4.2.0
Then I installed LG UP v1.14.3
Then I extracted the patched LGUP in correct folder (double checked)
I put my phone to download mode and connected > it gets recognized in device manager.
Now when I try to run LGUP, it says unknown in device model and shows me H915_10e (surprisingly enough its running on lineage 15.1 H910 with gamma kernel). It doens't let me proceed further. Even after using uppercut
I tried the guide to unbrick in LG G5 forum which basically follows LG Flash tool route which failed for me too.
After that I looked if I could get to TWRP and yes I could, as well as the engineering boot is still there (fastboot commands work).
Now that I do have full flashable image of H910_10r from brian's guide to root, when I try to reboot after flashing TWRP gives me an error that no OS is installed and I get stuck at LG Logo (not even the warning screen).
I tried flashing Super V20 rom as well and ended up in the same den. I havent tried to flash LOS back but that's of no use to me (battery nightmares).
Whats the valid route here to get back to my H915 or H910PR rom ? LGUP isn't working for me despite being patched
-Thanks
Put that h910_10r zip along with Magisk onto an SD card. In TWRP, wipe everything / format data, then put the SD card into the phone, and flash that zip. Once flashed, flash Magisk.
Before you reboot, make sure that data and system are mounted, unmount them (uncheck them), and then mount them again.

Did so, before rebooting TWRP asked me that there is no OS installed.
Surprisingly after every flash process I checked in download mode if there is any sign of identification.
I ended up flashing full stock H910 10q through TWRP, still the phone said there is no OS installed. The same error popped up when I flashed super v20 full stock H910 too.....
welp, now I'm with locked bootloader with Firmware update screen showing me "633A B50" in the information and stuck at 0%
LGUP still identifies as unknown device. Looks like I've ended up in the same basket as some of the fellows who got stuck with disfunctional download mode. I'll try tomorrow if I get to buy another Type-C cable although phone identifies correctly even in LG Flash tool (the identifier worked as H915 before, then changed to H910PR when I tried the H910PR kdz on provision of LGUPc.dll from extracting the kdzs.
I can't do anything except charge phone and if I try to power it on, its stuck on LG Logo (no warning screen whatsoever and there is no going back to TWRP as of now.
I even tried kdzwriter and it just remaining blank on the kdzwriter commands despite I could see kdzwriter in sbin directory and manually setting permissions to 755 through twrp file manager, still it did nothing.
Also, the bloody funny thing is, LGUP still recognizes as H91510e while LG Flash Tool recognizes phone as H91010q as well as shows LG-H910 on the phone firmware update status log. Something from full stock H91010q didn't erase that info as well
Wait, how do you know you still had the engineering bootloader other than the fact that you could boot to TWRP?
If you had no warning screen, then you probably didn't.
You may have bricked your phone, but we may be able to learn something.
Edit: FYI .. you still may not have bricked your phone yet if you still have download mode.
EDIT2: If you want to save your phone, don't do anything else for now.... read the laf development thread, not the lafsploit thread....

When I had engg bootloader (which facilitated all fastboot commands we need to flash modem recovery blahblah etc) and TWRP, the phone sat on LG Logo all the time if I did a normal bootup or reboot through recovery.
The warning screen only poppped when I used the enter recovery combo.
Also H910_10m has something different than H910_10r.
The warning screen on 10r is perfectly crisp and clear but the warning screen on H910_10m firmware is distorted all accross the screen with parts of it horizontally distributed all over and wrapped around.
Rigth now:
I have working download mode and only way the phone talks a little bit (mamma papa of a baby maybe) is through LG Flash tool when I give the LGUP.dll and a kdz to flash to it. It says its an LG-H910 on download mode status screen and says two lines about H91010r and the next line as the line of the firmware I'm trying to flash, here in my case those are H91510e and H910PR10j.
I can even go to factory reset screen and the nice circle spins saying to me erasing but it reboots back at LG Logo
I have full dump of my H910PR but that's useless if LGUP doesn't recognize my phone.
TLDR as of Now: I'm going to install Windwos 7 on my older Lenovo x230 Laptop and start from scratch. I believe there is a bad driver footprint left somewhere in this windows 10 and I hate windows 10's communication trouble with third party devices.
Will keep you updated via this thread. I hope I do not annoy you too much with my post backs
Bump! No chance. Stuck in same situation but now I have only access to download mode or factory reset (since I'm on stock H910 10q firmware). LGUP says unknown with H91510e while LG flash tool says it's H91010q. Can't flash sh**.... I've ordered a replacement H910 motherboard and it's gonna arrive in 15 days give or take. Will see if I can swap connection Midway in LGUP and flash this one to stock H910PR
Hello! Sorry for my bad language, but English is not my native language.
I have a LG G6 H870 EU. A year ago I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and a custom rom.
Everything worked, but I bought a newer phone. Now I need LG G6 with original firmware (and stock camera app). I found the stock software on XDA for TWRP. I installed them. The phone booted up properly, Android requested data formatting. When I agreed, my phone got stuck in the TWRP loop.
Now I install various software, custom and stock - only TWRP starts every time. I tried LG UP but at 9% it shows "USB Connection established" error. I've tried various DLLs, but on others the program doesn't start at all. Maybe I have the wrong DLL? I've tried UPPERCUT too.
Please help, thank you.

Sorry for the post hijack, just curious. How did you manage to unlock your bootloader a year ago. I thought LG stopped providing the unlock.bin's like, 5 years ago?
