Just a simple thread where everybody can share their specs if they want to. Normally I'd start off but the graphics card takes my 9.8 down to a 4.9... so yeah.
It was a suggestion to do this in another of my threads, and here it is.
MSI 890FXA-GD65
AMD Phenom II X6 1090t OC to 3.7. At stock voltage.
Wintec One 8GB DDR3 1600
AMD Radeon 6770 1GB. OC'd GPU clock to 950MHZ and memory clock to 1300MHZ
DiabloTek PHD850 850w
OCZ Vertex 3 120gb SSD
Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB
AOC 20" something or other
Hyper 212 Plus
Windows 7 Home Premium and LMDE.
It only cost like $700. Which isn't bad. Need to upgrade the graphics card though.
My laptop is the Gateway NV78 with LMDE on it(after 2.6.35 it broke backlight. I made up a guide to fix it) I got it in Nov of 09. With Linux it still beats out many.

Lol why do you need a 55in led monitor? I just swapped down from a 32 to a 25... Perfect for me 32 was just a bit to big
You can look up my full specs on OCN, but here's the basics:
ASUS P67 Sabertooth
16GB Vengeance 1600MHz
Core i5-2500k @ 4.9GHz stable 56C full load
2x HD5970 @ 1GHz/1375MHz 72C full load
Corsair 1200w PSU
A whole bunch of other goodies...
I play BF3 Ultra at 85-100 FPS

I sit back like 8 feet, the only downfall is the usb extension cords, because wireless has too much delay in games. I thought the 55 would be to big, but it was free and my 46 was dying. I ended up falling in love. Blu-rays look fantastic except for some flashlighting in darks scenes cause the tvs bent, but it was free lol

but if you mean the back of the case, it looks more like a over stuffed box Not so much place for all the hardware and cables, especially when you have a non modular power supply

A few days after the 3060ti release I looked on pccg (Aussie retailer) I had my cash there ready to buy. ($1000AUD). I looked for the cheapest sale, finding one for $749 and I dropped it thinking it was too expensive and not worth it... BOOIIII I was stupid. 6 months later and I'm still crying I didn't just get it.
You build is mean af tho. Amazing job. I would defo look at some gas monitor stands tho and trying to get a similar sized monitor (height wise) to that super mega juicer ultrawide you got there.

Really nice curved ThinkVision monitor. I think the screen is now so wide that you really need at least three computer mice

Haha, no, they're for 2 notebooks connected to the monitor as well. The monitor itself isn't that big compared to 55" ones from Samsung for example. Those are really beasts and I don't like it cause you have to sit farer away compared to the 44" with 3840x1200 resolution. Also the fact, that it has much more possibilities to connect devices and charge them too.

In Australia, the 3060ti is completely out of stock but is priced more than a 6700xt, costing about $1300AUD and over. Where as every other GPU, similar pricing scheme but they're all in-stock

The cables are indeed stuffed at the back of the case and there's no space at all. The side panel sits tide as well due to the cables

Once you get rid of those SATA drives you can definitely make some more room.

Nice VR setup
Thanks, it's the original Vive Pro, got it a little over 2 years ago when I built this machine.
That head stand is actually from a Call of Duty collectors edition that came with a (poorly) working set of night vision goggles, the NV goggles have long since gone off the fritz, but I remembered I still had the stand when I got the VR headset.
What do you need all of that storage for? Just curious, because it's more than a little over average lol.
I guess I'm a data hoarder, might need an intervention. Still have a SATA slot available, I'll probably wait for a 20TB drive to fill that vacancy.
now u need a custom watercooling loop in that case
Thought about it, maybe in the next upgrade.

Hey all, I built this PC in late 2017 for the main purpose of Video Editing. It's had a small upgrade since then, but otherwise great.
ASUS ROG B-350F
Ryzen 7 1700 -> OC to 3.6GHz
2x 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400MHz -> OC to 2933MHz
Intial GPU was an old R9-290x upgraded to Aorus RX 580 8GB
4x case fans plus Wraith Spire on the CPU
Still using a Western Digital Black HDD (Big fan of WD, have had Seagate fail twice)
Corsair RM850x PSU.
Old but really solid still.
Some small issues with the 1st gen ryzen chip but otherwise I've been really happy with the performance of the build.
Thanks for reading!
