I bought nova 7i model JNY-lX1
When i connect my bluetooth headsets, the microphone of the headsets doesn't connect, Which means when i talk on the phone, the audio output is from the mobile itself not from my headset, and it causing problems, because the people can't hear me well.
I tried everything (hard reset, update the firmware, i tried different headsets) nothing is working.

I just installed a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD head unit in my car with the CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter.
Everything with the CD-BTB200 works except I can’t be heard by the person I am calling through the mic. No static, distortion - just nothing. Friends I call just can’t hear me, but I can here them.
My phone is a T-Mobile MyTouch Android 2.2.1 and it pairs and registers just fine CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter.
Streaming A2DP Bluetooth music works fine from the phone. I can dial out and receive calls (and hear this through my car speakers).
I can hear the person on the other phone through my car speakers but they cannot hear me.
I have tried resetting CD-BTB200 by pushing the reset button with a pen, plugging and unplugging the mic from the unit and making sure it is secure, erasing the CD-BTB200 from my phone and starting from scratch, connecting and re-registering to the AVH-P4200DVD.
Everything works as described before except the mic.
Anyone have this problem? Any thoughts or a work-around?
Wondering if this is the CD-BTB200 unit, the mic or my phone.

Hello guys, I will try and keep this short and sweet.
I have tried connecting a headset to my tablet, sound plays through speakers still, not the earpiece.
Then I tried connecting a bluetooth headset, it says connect, yet it still is playing sound through speakers and not the earpiece.
Any ideas? I am on 4.2.2, could it be the rom/root?
Hi, i had the same issue today with bluetooth headset, but in my case when I tried to connect the headset in the jack, it worked well, I solved the bluetooth issue with deleting the bluetooth headset in settings then re-pairing it, I am with 4.2.2 too on stock non root nexus 7.
Its definitely software related.
I downloaded soundabout to force sound through the headset instead of speakers and now its working fine.
Trying to use a Motorola s10-hd with my nexus 4 and the headset pairs fine and the controls on the headset can skip tracks, enable voice search and turn volume up and down but the audio still only plays through the phone not the headset. Wtf?!?
Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Tried resetting the headset and rebooting phone but still same issue.
Yup. Same headphones, same issue. Some more info: I use P.A.C. 20.1.0 with Franco kernel milestone 1. The headphones initially work upon first discovering but never works after that. The sound plays through the phone speakers even though it says connected. Really frustrating. Tried unpairing, rebooting, resetting the headphones, to no avail.
Hi there, i got OP5 with latest OOS 4.5.13, blu_spark kernel 4.4.21 and blu_spark twrp 3.3.1
experiencing a strange behaviour with blurtooth of my car. Pairing works perfectly and connection works without problems. Calls audio working perfectly but the other multimedia audio from the phone doesn't work. No audio from the car stereo.Already tried re-pairing several times, clearing bluetooth cache and data and clearing data cache from recovery without result. In the bluetooth settings i have all 3 checkboxes on (multimedia audio, call audio, contact list). Eveything working good with other bluetooth devices (i.e. deewear fly dark headsets)
anyone else experienced a similar problem? is there a workaround to fix it?

after many tries deleting and re-pairing, bluetooth in my car magically started to work. Don't ask me why..
I have this problem all the time with my BT earphones. It'll "pair," but without multimedia audio. I just turn it off and on and it usually fixes. I've been blaming my BT earphones, as I've never had this problem with my Beats Studio BT headphones.
Hi,
I have a H96 Max android box, with Android 9.0, CPU : RK3318.
I'm having hard time using by Bluetooth headset, as the microphone does not work.
I have used Sony SBH80 and Sony WH1000XM3 headsets. Pairing works, audio output works, but the mic doesn't.
I have made a couple of tests, including some web audio testing pages in chrome, apps like Mic test from Play Store and also in google assistant. The most information I've got from the Mic test app, as it shows red and green status when a device is on. And in fact, when the recording using the BT headset should take place, the LED is green, but there is no sound being recorded.
I have tested both headsets with a OnePlus5 and on both the mic works normally.
I have also connected a USB mic to the H96 and it also works fine, sound is recorded.
So the problem I think is that the level of the sound input from the BT mic on the H96 is 0.
I have looked into /etc/mixer_paths.xml and also into /vendor/etc/audio_policy_configuration.xml but I don't see anything suspicious there.
Can anyone help?

Also, if anybody could recommend an Android TV box on which the Bluetooth headset works (both audio out and microphone) I would be very grateful. The requirements I have for the box are: Google Play Store works, it has an ETH connector. The rest is not so important. I want to use 6 boxes to make a constant WebRTC connection between them using Chrome. The users would use the BT headsets to pick them up and to communicate.
Thanks!
I have bought 3 more boxes:
T95 max+
T9
MX10+
on none of these devices the headset mode works properly.
The closest to working was the T95max+, it discovered properly the BT headset, but when in communication mode, the mic did not work either.
I have tested the headset with 3 other android phones, and there it works out of the box.
So I guess all 4 Android TV boxes I have tested fail to have the correct setting for BT headsets.
Anyone got this to work on a box?
Microphone not detected in t9 tv box
I am too experiencing the same problem, if anyone have a solution please share it thanks in advance
