It usually doesn't matter how much free space you have in "root" since you never actually add anything directly to it. The partitions you should somewhat be on the look out for is the userdata or "data" partition inside "Root" or "system" (if you're rooted).

I'm currently running a HoFo Rom on a Rogers Magic 288mb
I'm trying to flash a new Recovery, but when I get to: "adb push recovery-RAv1.2.0H.img /system/recovery.img"
I get a "failed to copy...no space left on device" message
This is because my system folder is low on space..
Now, what do I do to delete or free up space here?

Seriously no one who can help mw with this...?
Probably a adb command or something I need..
Does anybody know what is this folder? I see it all the time and it looks like only root has access to write to the folder. Is this an important folder?
Bump. In surprised this folder was never explored. Looks like it gets written on every boot.

Dunno, looks important.

My guess is it's a cache file of some sort. Does anyone know for sure?

That's the system partition. It's were Android lives.
Why did it appear in the 24GB useable storage?

I used the search first and I didn't see this posted. If it has mod please delete. I was poking around in the hidden menu and found this. I wasn't able to click and disable.

Good thing is, once you have unrooted, it will just show not rooted. So there is no root counter.
How did u get there
swagg blasted from TMO LG G3
I did a scan with ESET on my phone and a system file in the root directory picked up a potentially unsafe file. has anyone else noticed this and does it come up on your phone as well. See picture.
