[Q] Lumia Rom on HD2

Hi to all Developers.
Would it be possible to have the Nokia Lumia 800 Rom on the HD2?
So that you can use the Nokia App's and Services.
That would be cool;-)

Too early to tell. It was just released. Have some patience.
However, that nokia drive is yummy.

i think that you need some registry changes.....actually our HD2 with WP7 appears like HD7 so i think that is possible make it.

Lumia on HD2, why?
Lumia is just a wonderful HW with WP7 on it.
If you remove the HW you just get WP7 (wiht Pulse)....
It does not make sense to me....

Nokia Edition for Samsung focus

Hi All,
Is there a custom nokia edition rom ? something similar like below ? I Searched for it but couldnt find anything similar for samsung focus. . If it is not available could we request for one?

That would be a no, considering "both" devices referenced are 2nd gen (HTC Titan and any WP7 Nokia - I believe it's the Lumia 900 specifically). However, it wouldn't be a bad idea

Exactly ! I really wish someone can make something similar to focus. Whats the difference between 1st and 2nd generation windows phones? nothing much right ? at least software wise. Please correct me I am wrong.
Lastly, I dont mind paying if that kind of Nokia rom exists for focus ::good:

- better CPU: 1.4 vs 1.0 Ghz
- better GPU: Adreno 205 vs 200
- front facing camera
- gyroscope (Nokia)
Lastly, I dont mind paying if that kind of Nokia rom exists for focus ::good:

For Android, developers are able port other OS version to other devices so i thought it will be easy for windows to . One final question if you don't mind, can we request any of the members to do so?
Edit: Same is available for Omnia / Focus flash as well

You can ask (eg contable and/or others) if they have plans to release a rom for Focus in one of the threads. Do not request, ask

Android on lumia 830?

Hello, Is it possible in anyway to get android working on a nokia lumia 830? Im willing to almost do everything.
If it dosent work, is it anyways to get snapchat working?

No, you can't get android on your Lumia.

Again ? Seriously, why did you get a Lumia if you wanted an Android phone ? You picked like one among a million, turn from the 999,999 others and want this exceptional one to be like all the others ? but why didn't you pick any of the 999,999 others, then ???

I know this tread is old but with the new version of window phone internal we will be able to do it. We just wait for a custom android ROM like the Android on Lumia project did for 520 and 720 and we got android on that 830!

The Lumia 830 is a strong phone ! so if you have a way to put a full working Android on Lumia 830, please let us know here

Nokia lumia 520 Can't Update

my nokia lumia 520 cant connect to wifi no matter what. i have been trying almost a 2 months now i'm thinking my wifi has died on me. i am on windows 8.1 o.s v 8.10.12393.890 i really want to update it to - 8.10.14219.341 if i can or higher like windows 10. i got my sim init and its unlocked but can't update over mobile data. is there any way this can be done? i have flashed it but just brings me back to the same o.s v i'm on right now
i have got a second nokia lumia 520 whitch is 100%. working and on windows 10 but the problem is. it's not unlocked so i can't use my sim in that device. so i'm in abit of a pickle here got 2 phones with aleast one issue.
without theses i don't havea mobile untill i get my sony xperia z3 fixed whitch will take me up till christmas just to save up :/
could any of you help me with this? save my day i have had to many late nights

flash 950 rom onto 950xl?

My other half uses a 950 and I use a 950xl, the 950 seems to have far less stability issues and a newer firmware revision...
would it be really stupid to flash rm-1104 firmware to rm-1085 device?
I don't think we've ever had to reboot the 950, at least if we have its so rare we don't remember but the xl is at least once a week I think now

There's not a difference between the 950 and 950XL "firmware". It runs the same OS. I know this because I used a registry edit to make my Lumia 930 look like a 950 to get the latest Insider build and everything works as expected.
You are either experience placebo effect or your 950XL is having hardware problems. I have the latest Insider build on my 950XL and I don't have any issues.
