Hey guys, I want to revert my U Ultra to barebones stock Oreo ROM. Now the thing is, my installation doesn't seem to work, for whatever reason. I have attached a screenshot from the error message I get in the command prompt on Windows. I have USB Debugging enabled on my phone (running some version of Lineage OS with Android 10 at the moment), have the device drivers installed. I tried to lock my bootloader first with fastboot OEM lock but for whatever reason, it doesn't work either.
Any idea what I can try? I made sure, that the RUU is the correct one for my region as well, so it's not going to be the root of this problem I am having. Thanks in advance.

The message I get when trying to lock the bootloader via fastboot flashing lock or fastboot oem lock is "FAILED (remote: 'unknown command')" and I have not found a fix for it yet either.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, my phone is rooted, but still on stock rom with twrp recovery. My problem is that whenever I try adb commands or even check devices, it says it offline but when in fastloader and try fastboot devices, my device is seen and communicating well. Why is this so? What did I miss to do?
here is what shows when I try adb devices:

Pls advice what to do.. thanks!
P.S., after unlocking my bootloader and installing twrp, i locked it again. Is this the reason i cant connect via adb or this issue is not related at all?
Thanks!
Do you have the latest adb? With 4.2.2 a security feature was added to allow for white listing computers connected via adb. Older adb versions don't work with this.

Hi, my name is Sebastián and I'm from Argentina, sorry for my bad English.
I have the Moto X Style XT1572, an old but good phone. One day I just open a YouTube video from WhatsApp and suddenly the phone reboots and goes into an infinite boot loop.
The main problem is that I never enabled the Allow OEM Unlock option before, so my options are very limited
Tried many things, but none seem to work. Factory reset, reinstall firmware
(I don't kwnow if I'm doing right but fastboot flash boot boot.img never works), even disconnecting the battery.
Here is a picture of fastboot mode. Can anyone have an idea?

So attempts made to the Sunmi V2 android to root the phone were not successful.
I'm allowed OEM unlocking and USB debugging via Developer options. Attempts to launch fastboot through adb was unsuccessful. it didnt even see the android as a fastboot device at all. (pic related)

upon booting recovery (volume down and power) im seeing pheonix OS
Haven't really been in this space for awhile, but the end goal is to install a custom ROM onto this device, I was going to attempt to install twrp recovery and then install lineage OS or some generic OS. How do I interface with phoenix recovery in order to boot a custom rom?
I have exactly the same situation like you. Did you make any progress?
I managed to not only get to fastboot, but I also managed to use SP flash tool and WWR MTK to extract the firmware off it. I have 4 of these devices to mess around with
I can boot to the bootloader, I unlocked the device. It's the T-mobile oneplus 6t. It says device is unlocked, "secure boot yes" among other things. adb or fastboot often can see the devices but I can't actually boot any custom recovery or magisk or anything. Tried numerous times and don't know what to do. I have attached a photo of what this looks like. I wish I could explain more but no more details I can really find. and i I manage to get fastboot to see the devices and I try to boot TWRP, it gives me the second (or now first i guess) photo Qualcomm Crash dump

Try to boot the following TWRP : https://sourceforge.net/projects/oneplus-6-series/files/TWRP/
Hello,
Knowing nothing about it, I had rooted using twrp and magisk in order to install a custom rom on my old Tab A6 SM-T580. It worked but since I hadn't found anything in potable rom I wanted to delete the root. On a site they indicated that it was necessary to uninstall magisk. I also removed the oem unlock which seems to be an error because when I turn the tablet back on I have this message and it turns off again afterwards:

}
I then tried to flash an official firmware with odin but I have this result:
Then the tablet showed me this:
But that smart switch tells me this model is not compatible
so I come back to this screen:
I tried again with odin and it freezes on setup connection:
Is there a solution, please?
if you need to flash custom firmware first turn off oem then do that
The problem is solved by using home_csc file and not the csc as I did the first time. Thank you.
