repair xperia sp soft brick

if your phone cannot connect to fastboot and flashmode..or you cant flash your stock firmware..it means it is in soft brick condition..Do not worry..cwm must be running...sometimes you are also unable to install flashable zip of your firmware to mobile using cwm.(if cwm is also not opening, then its a kernel infection known as hard brick.play it a dummy or use its warranty if possible).I have a solution for this.. download flashable doomkernel (v4 or any other version)..now download the rooted kernel.elf for xperia sp ...it can be of any old or latest firmware ..now open doomkernel.zip from your computer..extract all content in a folder (say krnl)..replace kernel.elf (of the extracted folder) to thekernel you downloaded before...name must be kernel.elf...now again make a zip of modified data having replaced kernel
All you have to do is to flash this zip to your fone using cwm...

This is the zip file that needs to be flashed using Customer Recovery,
There are various post on how you can have custom recovery on your phone,
but make sure which is the exact model of Z1 you have first there are various types in it am using Z1 C6902 varient.
1. i used Kingroot to root my device
2. installed BusyBox
3. Backup DRM Keys using TA Backup tool and fallow the instructions
4. Unlock Bootloader
5. Flash Custom Recovery like TWRP/CWM/Philz.
as i havent found a suitable ftf for my c6902 yet so is flashing this zip different from flashing ftf in flashtool? can i flash it from lineage os 14? thanks
Hard Bricked, No powering on, No charging up, Not detectable in PC
Hi there,
I have hard-bricked my Sony Xperia Z1 C6902. Now I am not able to do anything with the set. I have tried to enter into emergency mode by using Testpoint and s1tool. It is successfully installed the drivers but when I tried flashing the firmware. I am getting an error "A device attached to this system is not functioning".
Does anyone have any idea of how to unbrick the set using testpoint and s1tool?? or any other alternate methods to bring the phone back into life??
Any help is much appreciated.
I need BR
My phone gets bricked everytime I use non-brazilian ftf's, can you please help me finding it?
P.S.: There's a post around, but the file is undownloadable...

This is very good guide. Only way to obtain root and recovery on locked bootloader is downgrading to kitkat getting root and recovery. Then flash pre-rooted marshmallow firmware and you're good to go
If u could obtain working recovery in locked bootloader, then u can use this method.
U may get that by downgrading to 4.4
Thanks
Didnt work
