When the crash occurs, the entire system seems to be no longer stable. So it doesn't look like an app-level crash (typical FC). This can be consistently reproduced by taking photos in HDR mode successively for about 16-20 shots.
Same problem noticed in CM11 M8. Now upgraded to Nightly and problem persists.
Did anyone else experience the same?
Nope, I am on cm11 m8 and everything is fine. Did you tried the new googel camera? You can dienload it from the play store.
Thanks. Yes I tried both stock AOSP camera (bundled in CM) and also the new Google camera. Both have same problem.
Btw, how many successive HDR shots did you try? did you also have photo location tag enabled?
Nvm. Same problem also reproduced on my wife's nexus 4 running stock android 4.4.4.
So its not a CM specific problem.
Not good.. Just wondering no one else reported this.
First i am sorry for my english
My problem.
When i use the flash to take a picture in low light or darkness my pictures come out black or reaaaaly dark.
The flash either goes off to fast or is to short. It only seems like a micro second.
When i focus the camera it does emit the light to focus.
The solution i found.
Well to be honest i have no idea how to use it.
It is some sort of code and i am a complete idiot at that
I am running
(Stock) Android 6.0.1
Kernel 3.10.61-8140803
Build number MMB29K.G903FXXU1BPE2
Camera firmware is stock
CAM FW version K16LLIA00SM
Load FW version K16LLJA01SC
PHONE FW version K16LLJA01SC
I am getting very annoyed by this problem and the fact that i spend 3 hours searching for a solution i cant apply had me mad as hell.
Edit: forgot to metion i tried all options i could think of with the camera setting. Even downloaded a 3rd party program called camera vf5
I am hoping you are able to help me

hi guys, just got my U Ultra last week. just tried the panorama feature today and observed that were flickering lines in panorama mode and it can see it flickering throughout the whole panorama I screen. the flickers then appear as lines inside the actual picture. this flickering wasn't observed in other camera modes. Did anyone encounter the same issue or I have gotten a lemon

Hey there,
is this in normal panorama? or selfie panorama? I havent noticed it on either, but there was an update to the HTC camera app (not a system update), where there was an improvement made to selfie panorama (I dont know exactly what it is), perhaps try installing the new app and see ifg it works for u?

Hi, it's normal panorama, I saw the issue after the app update. Didn't actually use panorama before so Wanstead sure whether it was causes by the update. Didn't see this issue in the selfish panorama or video modes though

I had to return my first U Ultra (Blue), as it had various issues, screen freezes, flickering on the home screen.. and when taking photos outside on a sunny day, it was blowing the "sunlit" areas out with a white misty ghosting effect (probably faulty focus / light sensor unit), however, after changing to the Black version.. its all been fine now.
Might seem silly.. but if youve done the update... open Camera, goto Settings and "Reset to Defaults" then goto Settings > apps > Camera and Force Stop, then Clear Cache and Clear Data, then restart your phone.. reset your camera back up .. and try again..
Lets know how you get on

Hello everyone! I would like to share with you this issue I'm facing related to the camera.
I own a OP6T A6010 OOS 9.0.13 Stock (last release updated on April 22nd 2019)
It doesn't matter whether I use stock camera or GCam app the issue happens the same way.
It doesn't matter whether I record a video or just stay with the app open, the issue occurs.
The issue is, when I open the camera app and point the phone to a bright landscape in a sunny day I can see the image shaking with some kind of waves on it. As I said, it happens only pointing the phone or just with the app opened.
In places with regular light like inside home or at night, it doesn't shake or show a wave screen/film.
The tests I did were first holding in my hand and second using a tripod and the results were the same as I mentioned above.
If I zoom to max (8x) the shakiness/waves become more evident.
In order to try to fix, first I clean data/cache of the app and uninstall GCam, and the issue keep happening.
Second, I did a full wipe of the phone using vol. down + power and navigated through the menus but the issue was not fixed.
Please check out this video I recorded to see what I'm saying above.
OnePlus 6T - Camera issue - Shakiness or Waves
I only found one person complaining of the same problem as mine ate OnePlus Community, but without replies in more than a month.
Video recording with waves
Hope someone with the same problem can find and a solution or good opinions in what to do.
Thanks!!
Just tested on mine right now and I don't have the issue.
This seems to be a hardware issue. I think the OIS is not behaving normally. You may need to setup a RMA with OnePlus unfortunately.
Hello, I am looking for a working port on S10 + exynos where the night mode works and that there should be a working night in one app, etc.:RE
