Phone blocked in Recovery mode - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hi,
Since yesterday my phone is blocked in Recovery Mode (orignal rom, bootload locked)
I tried to deblocked with the application MiPhoneAssistant as described here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/latest-xiaomi-miphoneassistant-pc-suite-eng.4175727/ and here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ocked-bootloader-mi-assistant-whyred.3798165/
But there is no way to close the login window after authentication success and i'm not able to use the application options. I trired in windows 7 and windows 10, with / without executing as administrator and same problem.
Do you have a solution for that ?
Thanks

Any help please ? i'm not able to use my phone

[Developer Verified] [TESTED] [WORKING] Meizu m3 Note Bootloader Unlock Tool

RADev Team Presents:
Bootloader Unlock Tool for Meizu m3 Note M91 (TESTED) (WORKING)
Warning:- This tutorial is only for M3 Note (M91). Do not try it on Meizu m3 note (L91)
If you still want to try it, you're on your own as although the developer claims that it is working on Meizu m3 note (L91) it hasn't been tested
Backup all your personal data, contacts, everything to your PC/laptop as all your personal data will be lost after following this tutorial
I am not responsible for bootlooping, hard bricked, soft bricked devices, however, i will try my best to help you out of it and our team will release a hard brick fixing tool for Meizu m3 note (M91) soon. (Links will be posted here)
After you perform these steps, your phone will not have a firmware installed. You will have to manually install the firmware again.
Requirements:-
1. A mildly functioning brain
2. Ability to follow specific instructions
3. Root
4. A Meizu m3 note
5. Unlocker tool
6. A PC/laptop with ADB installed
Steps:
1. Upgrade to 6.7.9.12 daily WITH CLEAR DATA TICKED, other versions have not been tried or tested by me, I was successful in unlocking the bootloader by testing the apk on this firmware.
Link for 6.7.9.12 daily firmware:- https://download.meizu.com/Firmware.../cn_daily/20170912000320/3d65e1ba/update.zip
2. Install ADB on your system (Follow this link if you don't know the steps):- https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
3. Login to your Meizu account on your phone then go to Settings>Fingerprint & Security>Root Permission and enter Meizu account password. Phone will reboot and root itself.
4. Download the unlocker.apk from here and install it on the phone:- https://drive.google.com/open?id=0By0YAAxheuSKaDJ1YXJKYUJSVkk
5. Open unlocker app and grant it root permission. Click on unlock and wait till it shows unlock success and #END in the last and 2nd last line
Tip:-You can also follow the original developers on QQ (They are great guys and allowed our team to mirror, modify and post the unlock tool without wanting anything in return)
6. Now turn off the device and boot into Fastboot mode by pressing Volume Up + Power button at the same time. You will see a small dialog in the bottom corner of the phone saying 'Fastboot Mode..."
7. Connect your phone to PC, open command prompt on Windows or terminal in Linux and type
Code:
fastboot devices
. If the device ID is shown then it means that your phone is ready for flashing. If not, try installing ADB Drivers again.
8. After the device is detected in fastboot mode, type
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
Do not panic if it doesn't unlock in the first try. Keep trying. It took me a while to get it unlocked. Follow the steps on the phone when you type fastboot unlock. IT will prompt you to either press the volume up or volume down button to confirm the execution of the command you've given.
9. After the bootloader unlock is successful, power off your device.
10. Restarting the device will show you that there is no firmware installed on the phone, will wait for 5 seconds and then boot into TWRP.
11. This happened because the tool we used earlier to unlock the phone installed TWRP while unlocking the device.
12. The TWRP is quite buggy and cannot mount data and system partitions as it was ported a long time ago. To fix this, go to Wipe>Advanced Wipe in TWRP and format every partition.
13. If that doesn't work then repair file system in twrp of every partition you can. After this you'll be good to go.

[GUIDE] Root Huawei Honor 8 SMART and install TWRP custom recovery (EMUI 5.X)

Note-
Applicable for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
Similar steps are applicable for EMUI 4.X as well but TWRP file will change.
Hello Fellow Members,
Did not find any post mentioning rooting for Honor 8 SMART and got requests via PM and on FB to add it for EMUI 5. If there are any, let me know and I will take down this thread. I will just simplify the steps so that any new users can do this without any problem and without any prior experience to rooting, it may be long but will be the simple enough for all the users.
Prerequisites-
Enable the developer option in settings-
Go to Settings--> About Phone-->Tab build number 7 times to enable this setting.
Go back in setting page, just above system update, you will see a new menu as -Developer Options
Scroll for the debugging section and enable the USB Debugging
You will be prompted for the confirmation with RSA key, just accept it.
Enable OEM Unlock in Developer Options (just above the USB debugging option) – Most probably this option will not be there on EMUI 5.0 (only few have seen on EMUI but it was there on EMUI 4.1 for all but rarely on EMUI 5.0 or may be because I have used dload most of the time which grayed out this)
Please note down you build number, this may become handy in case something goes wrong to restore your phone via DLOAD. In Settings- About phone- Build Number
Installation of required Drivers.
Connect your phone to PC and install Hi Suite on PC and it will additionally install all the necessary drivers to PC and HiSUite on Mobile.
Download and Install ADB from Link
Accept all the prompts and install ADB drive system wise.
Once installation is completed, if default options are chosen, it will be under C:\adb
Downloading the necessary files.
Download TWRP from Link Thanks to @OldDroid for his Original Thread . Rest of the contributor and credit in original thread by OldDroid.
Move the downloaded file under C:\adb or wherever you have installed the ADB.
Download the SuperSU file from this Link and put it in SD card or keep handy on PC so that you can copy to internal memory later.
Get the unlock as mentioned in this thread
Actual Procedure
Unlocking the bootloader-
Backup all your data as unlocking the bootloader will reset the device and all your data will be erased.
On windows machine, go to folder C:\adb or wherever you installed the adb drivers.
Press shift+right click together and select Open command prompt here
Run - adb reboot bootloader (this command may prompt for acceptance of RSA key if not already accepted)
This will boot the phone into bootloader mode.
Run - fastboot oem unlock <16 digit unlock code- Put your actual code you obtained from Huawei site > (This step will unlock the bootloader and will erase all your data)
Phone will restart automatically.
Installing TWRP
Once on the system, open the PowerShell or command prompt again in ADB folder (can use the previous instance as well)
Run - adb reboot bootloader
Once in bootloader, Run - fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-venus.img (This will install the TWRP recovery for EMUI 5.0 on your phone)
Once done with the flashing the TWRP, Run - fastboot reboot
Rooting
Once booted to system, open the PowerShell or command prompt in ADB folder (can use the previous instance as well)
Run - adb reboot recovery
And your phone will boot into the TWRP recovery.
Copy the SuperU file downloaded to SD card or Internal memory.
Install the SuperSU zip.
Reboot and enjoy.
Happy Flashing.
I have try,but it doesn't work.

Can't flash stock ROM through Mi Flash tool

Has anyone ever had an issue of "fast" flashing a fastboot stock ROM? I tried to flash stock OREO ROM but didn't manage to flash it because when I start flash it is done within 1 second, progress bar iz green and it says "Success" but ROM isnt flashed at all. Someone said that the problem is in long folder names where the ROM is extracted and if there are spaces in folder and rom names.
This is what I have tried:
1. Rom extracted with both 7zip and winRar on C: in folder with short name
2. Turned on USB debugging and OEM lock and Unknown sources in phone settings
3. PC connection allowed on device when connected to USB 2.0 and 3.0
4. Proper drivers installed and device detected in Device manager list
5. Device is detected in Mi flash tool when hit REFRESH button
6. Device bootloader is unlocked through fastboot command in command prompt (vShell)
I didnt try:
1. Install custom recovery
2. Flash on lower windows version (i.e. windows 7 or 8) only on Windows 10 pro which I have on 2 PC's.
All suggestions are welcome. Thank you!
I haven't had any issues doing this on a windows 10 pro. Have you tried different cables, or another USB port?
What version of the drivers are you running?
What version of MiFlash are you using?
I tried with original USB cable and aftermarket it is the same. I dont know which driver version is installed but I didnt try to install them separately. I'm using latest version of Mi Flash and drivers installed are probably came with Mi flash tool. I tried old version of Mi Flash tool from 2015 but didnt work. Tried USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports on both computers. It is really odd situation but I believe it is communication matter between PC and phone. Are there any other drivers which I should try?
Try the drivers from the mi unlocking tool
Ok, I will try and post the results here
I did try to install usb drivers from Mi Unlock but again not working. I tried to flash my other phone Mi 5s and flash process went the same way like on Mi A1.
what is the exact version of your mi flash tool? the version i'm using is 2017.7.20.0, and it's working fine in windows 7
also, have you tried executing some fastboot commands in CMD window, like "fastboot oem device-info" just to make sure the fastboot drivers are working fine?
if all else fails, maybe you should borrow a another laptop or PC
Mi flash tool I'm using is the same version like yours. Fastboot is working properly no problems at all. The phone is detected in CMD when I type FASTBOOT DEVICES and in Mi Flash tool also detects device when REFRESH is pressed. Only thing I did not try is installing Mi flash tool on Windows 7.

I'm having the same issue. I tried enquiring about it in various groups both in Telegram as well as WhatsApp but all to vain.

It is clear that connection is not questionable because the phone is communicating with pc normally within fastboot or mi flash tool. The main suspect is windows 10 pro so it would be nice if someone could try to flash it on windows 7
Hmmm yea might be win 10.. i am on win 7 and mi flash tool works fine

Place the rom folder in the desktop, use the latest Mi flash tool, have the latest drivers & platform tools installed & check for the .net framework as well. Look for these things & rest will go smooth.

See don't panic I was in the exactly same condition a week before. I can feel you but thats what I can suggest you, to don't panic.
Just follow these steps-
1- Open lmsa and then go to downloaded section , there you can see the downloaded firmware , at below of the screen you can see a option of changing file location of the downloaded firmware,
Change the firmware location to the desktop for your easier access.
2- After that install the mi flash tool from the internet, and extract it in the pc desktop for easy access.
3- Open mi flash tool and select the downloaded firmware , you can select it by click on load firmware.
It can might say that the downloaded file is not a fastboot rom but you can ignore it.
4- Now click on the configurations option in the mi flash and there you can see a option of loading patch xml and raw xml , both of these files will be showed you have to just click on them.
5-Now , insert usb cable into your pc and then press both vol +,- simultaneously and insert the micro usb cable while keep pressing it .
6- Click on refresh and when you will see your device , just hit flash.
And it will be flashed in less than 5 min.
And you will have your device working again
