Hi!
I have a Galaxy Tab A (8.4 "2020) model SM-T307U.
I have a local Sim that works well in web browsing. The problem is that the device does not send or receive calls and text messages, because the telephony is locked on the AT&T service in the US.
Anyone have a solution?
Many thanks in advance

HI,
I bought my S4 earlier this week and found that I had been sent a US Verizon model SCH-I545 - I live in the UK.
It is entirely my fault, I bought the phone from a very reputable seller on Ebay for an excellent price, but failed to see the small print to state what model would be sent (on googling found these all to be US network models).
I have had no issues with the phone - once I managed to change all the settings over - I can access data and send and receive calls, however the only issue remaining is the most annoying!
I can send a text message, I can receive a text message, but I can't reply to one! I assume it is to do with the SMS settings and the fact that a +44 is added to the number I reply to, but I can't figure out if I can change it and how to change it.
Any help or suggestions will be gratefully received - thanks in advance.
This is my first android so please excuse the lack of experience with it.
I am using a Verizon Galaxy S5 with an AT&T sim in it. I got data to work after entering the AT&T APN settings and everything else is working except for incoming phone calls caller id format. Incoming calls are showing up as +-xxx-xxxx Example: +714-555-1212
If that call is from someone in my contact list it will not be identified. If I call back that number it will fail as it is assumed to be an invalid international number
I called AT&T support but they refused to help me stating that I am at fault for not using an AT&T device.
I have rooted the device using towel root and removed all Veirzon blotware.
I also installed PreFixer and it works sometime but I prefer to find a permanent solution if possible.
Question: is it possible to convert my Verizon S5 into an AT&T one by flashing it and installing an AT&T image? or will that brick my device?
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
I appreciate your replies.
Experts need your help please. I bought Samsung Tab 4 10.1 LTE (Model T537A AT&T) recently. I would like to enable the voice calls on this sim based tab.
I read T535 model is having voice call enabled. Is it fine if I flash that firmware to my tab
Could you please help me pointing to any info on how to get it. I searched for this and saw a thread for old Tab but not for this model.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi,
I've bought two new S5 G901F. Everything works fine, I can make calls, I receive texts, LTE works as well, but I am most of the time unreachable when people try to call me.
I tried my provider, they issued new SIM cards, but the problem still persists.
Could anybody help me out with this please?
Let me know what info you need and I'll supply it right away.
Thank you in advance.
I recently purchased me and the wife new phones. Both Galaxy S7's she has the regular S7 i have the edge variant. Both devices are Verizon unlocked. I am able to browse the web, watch videos and make calls. The only thing i cannot figure out is how to make the MMs work, i cannot send or receive picture messages. I am running on the Metro PCS network. I am using the Metro PCS APN settings. I also tried the T-mobile APN settings with no luck. I am able to use data with either setting but I still can send or receive picture messages. I have called Metro PCS and I have went to an authorized distributor and they couldnt find a solution. I am super stressed about this issue. I use picture messages a lot for work and with the wife as well. Please help me folks! :crying:

I have the same problem . The only thing I was able to do so far is download GO SMS , then to send the MMS Click MMS1. I was able to send with this even though I really didn't want to use GO SMS.
