Hi!
I've installed CM 6.1 today in my HTC Legend and it works perfectly but I've serious problems with my 3G connection.
The connection is about ~2000Knps and I only can do tests with the result: 100Kbps. I've tried to install this MOD based on VOdafone relase (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841517) and works perfectly. I've also tried to update the radio to the latest version and the same problem...
Wireless connections is working OK
I there any reason for that?
Thanks in advance!
I am having the same problem on my EVO running cyanogen 6.1. My wife will have full bars but then my phone only gets 1 or 2 almost all the time.
I've found the solution for my case:
It's simply: Must select the right APN to connect to having full speed:

Case 2: Wrong APN Selected:
I hope my post helps anyone!

and here a speedtest done on my Note 3:
I'm on Stock 4.4.2 with Civ 2.7.
Is it normal that the download speed on the phone is so much slower than on my computer? Is there something I need to configure in my router? Or do I just have to live with this?
Thanks in advance!

Ur Pc use lan cable?
If yes, for sure it is faster than wireless.
If ur pc is using wireless as well, u need to compare ur wifi card with the note 3 wifi, if ur pc wifi card is better, of course it is faster.

I can't figure how to turn up this feature in the note 4. In my nexus 10 it's very easy to turn it on. But i don't have the possibility to choose frequency band with my note. Can someone confirm if they were able to make it work? Am beginning to think it's not included in my model. Below is some screenshot of what I see...

Yo people, i was hoping to get some info from you guys about the 5GHz Wi-Fi on the note4?
Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
its on by default. you cant switch it off.
For dual band router, I have a different ssid name for each band, I can choose one or the other on Note4, 2.4 and 5 work well for me.
Yeah, its just on, and I havn't seen an option to turn it off. As soon as i powered on the note for the first time, it detected my 5g and normal wifi straight away

Thanks both of you. I'll try to change the SSID for the 5GHz band.

Hi Everybody,
I have bought Meizu Metal from Aliexpress and received it few days ago. Everything is working smoothly except the 3G and 4G connection. The system version is Flyme OS 5.1.2.0Y, YounOS version 3.1.6. The GSM network is working fine. The specifications of the phone clearly shows that it supports 3G and 4G networks : 4G FDD-LTE:Bands:B3,B1 , 3G WCDMA:900/1900/2100MHz. My local operators supports 2100mhz for 3G and B3 for 4G. The phone detects 3G and 4G connection , but when I try to start browser or any app that requires internet it fails to connect.

Have you set APN values? If you haven't, find out those values with your carrier.

Thank you. That was the problem. I set the APN values manually and it worked
I did a WLAN speed test between my laptop set as a 5GHz wifi hotspot and my Xiaomi Mi Mix connected on the hotspot, using PZolee's free Speed Test for Android and the corresponding test server for windows 10. I get 433MHz theoretical link and about 65Mbps average up and down in TCP or UDP. I was expecting up to 800MHz theoretical link with up to 100Mbps test results since both devices are 802.11AC compatible.

I wonder if this is a limitation from the Xiaomi Mi Mix or from the "Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz" controller on my laptop.
Context for this test:
I am trying to figure out if I could buy an oculus quest 2 and use it to play PC VR games wirelessly on SteamVR with Virtual Desktop though the 5GHz wifi hotspot of my laptop itself connected to the internet via ethernet cable. I already play VR games on my laptop with a Samsung Odyssey WMR HMD but it's not wireless.
