Hey XDA,
I'm trying very, very hard to find a keyboard case for the S7 Plus, but they're all the flimsy "folio" style cases. The official Samsung keyboard isn't sturdy enough either. I can't find anything.
I want something that is very sturdy and very protective, with a built in keyboard. This looks close to what I'm looking for, but of course it's for just the S7, and don't have an S7 Plus version. Here's the link;
https://www.amazon.com/INFILAND-Multi-Angle-Backlight-Detachable-Compatible/dp/B0946LLVM7
Anyone have know of a case that is very very sturdy, but has a keyboard attached to it as well? I don't care about price.
Thanks for any help!

Seems like a good deal. If this one sucks, please recommend something similarly priced.
Anyone?
Case Brown
Seems to be the same one ui bought. I like mine I had the Acer Case before this one is more sturdy IMO.

I had such a case but it was too tight to fit.
I returned it to get this one:

I like it very much especially the rotation feature.
I don't like flip covers, and had no intentions to use the flip cover which came with the phone. And I probably will never use one. Ever!
But, little did I know that the cover that came along would look really beautiful at the back. Racked my brains for a while and this is what I did to my flip cover.
Here are some pics.

It looks really good on the phone. The modified side edge is comparatively thicker to the other edge. Unless someone observes it closely, they wont be able to make out that there is something different about the cover at the modified edge.
Hi
Mine also came with a flip cover and now I'm not using it. The phone is too big for using it with one hand (at least in my case) so I drop the cover.
When I was looking for a nice case I had the same idea as you but not folding the extra part (nice idea btw). Can you please upload one more photo with the case on. I want to see if the fold part makes it bulky
Added. You can check the link again.
It does not make it bulky. It is very little in reality.
While the cover looks great, it does not protect the screen much from a fall. If that is a concern, this cover is probably one of the better ones. It looks really good, but the mod one looks much better.. I'll be switching between iPaky and the Mod.
Not sure if this is the right spot or not but I just picked up a s7 and I need a good holster case.
I'm not a fan of the otter box. I don't like the built in screen protector. I like to use the zagg screen protectors. I usually use a plastic case that slides into the hip holster on my s4 but since the s7 seems to be fragile I want to go with something a bit better than that.
Anyone use a holster case and like it? What brands and styles?
Thanks
Nite Ize XL Hard shell case is the only one I've found that will hold the S7 with a protective case on it. Fits and protects well except the belt clip doesn't swivel.
Look an Amazon, that's where I found mine.

What kind of case did you go with?
I got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D8ZFVJS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I really liked it. I did break it but I got it caught getting into my car and really put all my weight on it, but I cannot blame the case for that.
I don't remember the brand but it came with a light case and a slide in holster that has a swivel clip.
I've been using these types of cases for more than 5 years now.
I got this one for my S7 Edge and I really like it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D3RRH70/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They make one for the non-Edge S7s, too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BCP4462/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_5_w

Yes I love these cases also. This is all I've ever used on all my phone's I've ever had but I'm afraid with the exposure at the ends of the phone and with how fragile this phone is that it may not be a good idea since I'm pretty hard on phones lol

Hey, i am about to buy myself this tablet, the lenovo yoga tab 3 plus LTE
and while i wait for it to arrive i wanna buy screen protector and cases from ebay, but if i spesific search for YT-X703F there is almost no options so are there any screen differense or layout in lenovo yoga pro and so on?
This will be my first lenovo so i dont know the differrence if anyone is different but is someone could help me out by say the search term i need to use to get the proper glass protector and case i will be very happy..
Im sure there are common search terms for this as well, but as told i am not very familiar With lenovo.
Also, im getting this as a replacement for my Nvidia Shield, im not mush of a gamer but im a total media whore and i like to watch Things in 4K and i also fly some drones that film in 4K so this will be why i spesific og for this tablet of course also since its Budget friendly when compared to other brands..
many thanks!
I just searched Yoga Tab 3 Plus on eBay and other sites and it comes up with plenty of results. I ordered a tempered glass protector and a rubber case. There seems to be two types of cases, the standard book style with a cutout on the back for the kickstand, and a non-flip rubber style case.
I bought some different cases but im not comfortable with any due to the metal stand makes all cases unuseful and flimsy. Just had a leather pouch i stick it in when I'm done.
The screen protector i bought that was made from glass. Very good.
Which cases did you get? Can you take some pics or links to the ones you got?
That might help some of us know which cases to avoid
Thank you
Just avoid them all. Buy a pouch or something. Due to the metal flip all cases will feel flimsy with that extra screen protector that flips over. And its unbearable to use the tablet with that extra dangling around in the back making it very uncomfortable to use.
Yeah that's what I suspected, its a shame. There is this third style I was looking at as well - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0197QBAEM/
It's the Moko case, but no cutout, more like a traditional case. Instead the kickstand rests on the inside of the case.
Have something like this also. You're gonna get irritated of the leather covering the edges of the screen.
Its a no go.
Have also one with plastic edges that it snaps into but that also is not good to use.
Posting picture of my pouch soon
Get something like this. Its so much more convenient.
Hello,
I've been searching endlessly where to buy the Lenovo X703F LTE
Pls where did you get yours?
Bought mine at a electronic shop in Norway. Elkjop.no i payed about 3400 NOK
Hi, I know this thread is a little old (and yet still top thread in this subforum!) so I thought I would update this. I just bought a Yoga Tab 3 Plus and have still to find a case that stays always on the tablet.
In the meantime I am using the Mosiso iPad Pro 10.5 Case Sleeve (I bought mine on Amazon Canada - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074N3SDPD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1) which fits the tablet perfectly and feels quite secure. I try and just hold onto the thing when it is out of the case, though I am sure I will drop it eventually.
I am using one of the cheapest 9H screen protectors I could find on eBay (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Premium-9H-T...var=660813795911&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649) and it fits perfectly! Like a good planner, I bought two - and immediately ruined the first one. The second one turned out much better.
Do not buy the Moko flip case, it sucks.
Hi, I'm still looking for a tpu/silicon back case for my tab 3 8 plus (aka Lenovo P8). But it seems really hard to find something useful...

Hey, my current phone is on it's death bed and I need a new one ASAP. I was planning on buying a Moto G5 Plus until I starting reading all the complaints about low max volume, feeble speaker and poor microphone.
It was recommended to me that I check out the Huawei P10 Lite as an alternative. It seems like a good phone, but I became hesitant to purchase when I found out it doesn't have Gorilla Glass or even the anti-scratch coating.. and I'm batting close to 1000 when it comes to breaking screens.
I'm just curious what owners think about this phone. Are you satisfied with the purchase? Are there any common problems that I'm not aware of?
Thanks.
My wife has Moto G5 Plus, and I have P10 Lite. Both devices are great, really. Gorilla Glass shouldn't be a problem, you can get a tempered glass screen protector and that's it.
Moto G5 Plus on the other hand has a lot of cool features, but I don't like the software. I mean you don't get gallery app pre-installed, but you have to use Google photos (or download one from the PlayStore).
I also had to choose between those two devices and Huawei was a winner for me simply because of the Emui 5.1. Also, this is my first Huawei device, my wife had P8 Lite which was brilliant handset. I still didn't own Motorola so far, but my wise is pleased with it.
I hope I helped at least a bit.
I have the p10 lite and it's very prone to scratching. Not as in deep cracks but like not-very-deep nicks. They're not that obvious when using the phone but when you clean the screen and turn it off you can really see it. I don't really know how mine got scratched, but I'm pretty sure it was from pocket sand. Overall the phone works well and if you hate the emui then just download a different theme. Get a case if you're gonna use it though.
It was recommended over on another forum that I get the P10 Lite l03t since that version has the most compatible bands with MetroPCS. I googled it and couldn't find any for sale.
I was also reading that applying a Gorilla Glass protector is a giant hassle since the screen goes all the way to the edge. Is this true or do those people just suck at it?

It's true. I changed 5 or 6 glasses until I found the one that's good. I'm using PanzerGlass Full Frame now, and I'm very satisfied.

I googled PanzerGlass and it's not recommended to use a protective case with it. Something about it slightly lifting the glass and letting dirt in. That's a pretty big trade-off.. protective glass to stop scratches/cracks or a case for shock absorption and better grip (phones are real slippery without a case).
Yes, it is full coverage. But I don't have the problem, I have Nillkin Nature TPU case that doesn't lift the protector. The problem make cases that has raised edges. They lift the screen protector.
EDIT: Here are some pictures of the screen protector and the case. You can see that there's no lifting problem. By the way, pictures are made with Moto G5 Plus.
I like my P10 Lite, I find it a really nice, easy to use phone.
I am running Nova Launcher on mine though instead of Emui, but that is personal preference.
When I first got my phone I was supplied a screen protector, which I didnt like, due to the nature of the curved screen you either have to have a protector that sits just inside the edge of the screen or that slightly protrudes over the edge, both options to me didnt sit right.
My solution was to get a full wallet case to protect the screen. I chose the Nillkin Qin, as its got a tough back and nice soft area over the screen. I would recommend that case to all my friends https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_s...onics&field-keywords=Huawei+P10+Lite+qin+case
Hope that helps you decide
It may not have Gorilla Glass but I will pretty much guarantee it has some form of special glass. After all Gorilla is just a brand and I'm guessing they wanted to save money by going with a different manufacturer. There will always be cost-cutting measures when you're buying cheap phones. This is one of them.
My biggest gripes with the phone are: no IP rating, no USB-C and no regular software updates.
It's plenty fast, it actually has fast charging and it has a micro SD slot. You get a lot of phone for the price. I personally got mine on sale so even with the shortcomings: it was worth every penny.

I was considering buying a flip case, so that I can remove the screen protector, but I have read of quite a few accounts of dust getting between the case and the screen, which caused scratches on the screen. Not necessarily with the P10 Lite, but with other devices. I don't want to take that chance, but if I know that the screen can withstand getting easily scratched, I will be more than happy to remove my screen protector.

I went for the P10 lite just because the European version of the G5 doesn't have a 'compass' (only the USA version does) and if I'm not mistaken this is 'vital' if you want to use things like 'turn-by-turn directional orientated Sat-nav'
