Are there any new problems after updating?
I've just received the updated. Strange thing is, i haven't downloaded it manually. In my notification I saw Restart Now button!! I've experienced this for first time where phone downloads the monthly security updates automatically!!

Same with me. I posted a comment in the April update as well regarding this. I'm pretty sure I used to have to press on the Update button for an update to be downloaded. I've always left it for a few months due to problems with past updates. I haven't changed any settings but for the last few months I've noticed it start to download a little bit whenever I'm on WI-FI and not mobile data. It then presents me with a 'Restart now' when downloaded.

Even with Automatic Updates in developer settings turned off?
Thanks, I didn't know about that option.
Since I upgraded to Android 10 very late, I must have set Auto Update off in Android 9 and been thinking about that.
Sorry about the late response - I'm not on this forum very much

Is this a stage fright patch? Or a lollipop update? I rather stay on kitkat since lollipop was a mess. I use it as a wifi device and its never been connected to Boost.
Here's the end result
The update hangs quite a bit around 77%-90% (phase 1) then it goes into phase 2 and finishes the update.
strange I can't find info about this patch ..
are you seen something new after update?

me neither. if you can tell by the timestamps on my screenshots i was looking all over the place. it is snappier but that could be a placebo. also, i don't know about call quality or mobile data since i basically use it as an iPod.

I search in sharp and sprint webpages but there still show s4081 as last update.. for now I will not update my phone bcs I don't want to waste my chances to unlock bootloader or root if some one find a way...
Maybe???
I just got it too my phone won't install it cause me battery is to low but, I'm pretty sure its a patch to fix the multimedia message problems . too small of a file to be lollipop .or maybe it's a straight to SD patch idk probably one of the two..lol.
Just updated. Touch feels more responsive but it usually does after an update. Here's to hoping it doesn't crap out again.
Compared to the last build it has a new kernel. So far the only thing I've noticed, is that instagram doesn't auto play video with sound, (finally!) like it should. Before it would blast the speakers whether you tapped on the video to turn off/on sound.
It fixed my MMS problems.
As promised here: https://www.xda-developers.com/sonys-xperia-z3-z4-tablet-and-z5-series-get-updated-to-android-7-1-1/
yes, it is already running on my Xperia Z5 P. just today installed, testing it!
So far so good, improve performance.

Apart from all the circular icons everywhere?
They do however not appear to support long press on icons on the homescreens (on 7.1 they should produce a submenu)

The quick settings panel now shows 6 settings instead of 5, and the settings gear-icon now shows without expanding the panel entirely.
Did you get this as an OTA?
I have seen nothing yet ...
I have had it for a week or so. My tablet now runs very sluggish and needs rebooting several times a day to free it up.
Reports from others are a bit thin on the ground. So I shall wait a while and see what happens but this is not acceptable so far.
Mine was running sluggish too (no upgrade) the last few days - especially the touchscreen, I tried clearing the cache from a number of apps ... no real change. I rebooted into safe mode - and it seemed to run OK - I then made a simple reboot ... some unexplained changes to launcher and keyboard then seen ... but once I changed those back to my preferred ones, it seems to be running OK again now. I guess there was "something" running in the background hogging all of the processing power.

There is an interesting observation here

can anyone upload for lte model
Hey Everyone. As of yesterday every time I touch inside a text box to type the tool for paste and clipboard pops up. This ends up covering responses from people in the messages app and is getting pretty annoying. I can't figure out why this has started happening. I've removed Gboard, cleared cache for every app I can think of and nothing helps. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Only things that have really changed since yesterday was the March security update and I tried using gesture control but switched back. See attached image for an example.

}
Edit: As a side note the long press to paste doesn't work and is replaced by a single tap which brings up paste or clipboard.
Edit 2: So I flashed back to the Feb security patch and did a factory reset. Issue was resolved at that point. Updated to the March security update and it's now back so loosing all my settings was for nothing.
Edit 3: My brother just did the March security patch and his does the same thing so it probably is not app related.
Edit 4: This issue appears to have been resolved with the June security patch. [emoji1360]

Unfortunately it happens in any app that I type in. Didn't have an issue until yesterday or at least that's when I started noticing it. If there isn't anything in the clipboard it only shows the tear drop but usually something is stored in the clipboard unless I clear it.

This leaves one more update (it launched with June 2018 patch iirc)?
I got scared when I installed the update and calls had no audio (earpiece nor speaker). A reboot fixed that issue.

Yeah, same old story from them
I don't even have anymore expectations about the updates. The phone is already dead and Android One was basically a scam with no benefits over customized Android distributions.
Fortunatelly next month I will be getting a new phone.
There are network related issues with this update.
As soon as my phone switch to 4G+ (automatically) from 4G then Wi-Fi gets disconnected!! And phone won't try to connect with Wi-Fi. Then if i try to connect with saved Wi-Fi network manually, it won't connect!! If phone switch to 4G (automatically) from 4G+ then phone will connect with WiFi and internet data works as normal. I think 4G+ and WiFi dont work same time. Only one thing can work at a time. Still I'm not able to figure out this issue.
Another issue is, getting no call notification on screen. So one friend told me that he has tried to call me but I wasn't answering, and I was like I haven't received any calls as nothing in call logs too!! Upon this information, I've tried to call my number from another phone and he was right. No call notification appears on the screen, not even missed call log in Phone app. I've figured out solution to this problem tho. Disable WiFi Calling is the current solution. In Google's Phone app go into settings > calling account > select your network name and disable WiFi Calling for that network.
Before installing this update 4G+, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Calling everything was working smoothly. I'm afraid if they won't fix these issues then it will be a parmanent problem as not sure how many security updates left as part of Android One.

Very small size update but took bit time when it was "optimising apps". Since last May update I was facing frequent Wi-Fi disconnection issues, let's see if they have fixed this in this update.

Sure will do. Currently outside so my device is on mobile data only since I've updated the device.
I also have that it switches off after a while. But it doesn't matter, was the last update.

Hello, after this update that i just installed i have no system sounds, no notifications, no call sounds, no microphone, no alarm sounds and the sound bar doesnt make the beep sound when i switch from muting the phone to sound only the vibration works.
The only sound that works is from music that i have installed and from spotify.

Confirmed. This update does contain fix which solves the Wi-Fi disconnection issues.
Updated from 11.0.26 > 28 using fastboot image and no problems to report and no obvious fixes.
I only updated 2 days ago, and each day since, it has restarted itself whilst under moderate use (just now whist using as a hotspot). I don't use the phone intensively, there are no new apps, and my app usage is the same as before. Anyone else had this problem?
What's more worrying is this appears to be the last ever update. See the A2 references in https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-M...date-as-it-enters-its-final-lap.552298.0.html
I hope this isn't a bug that will never get fixed
