Samsung galaxy note 4 - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!!
I've been trying to flash stock firmware for a galaxy note 4 but it keeps failing in Odin with the message "aboot.mbn"
Also, I don't know what I did but somehow the phone stopped booting with an error message "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING"
Now I can't flash and can't install TWRP Recovery, Please help anyone??
Model No. SM-N910L

I wish I knew more, but...
Are you flashing the latest Firmware in Odin or flash a earler version?
Are you using the correct version of TWRP?

Hi mate,
Some more information would be nice.
Which was the latest firmware and which version did you want to flash?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
Take a look at this, especially to the "Odin troubleshooting" part.

Hey. Thank you for the answere.
I tried to flash I9505XXUGNF6_I9505DREGNF2_I9505XXUGNF6_HOME.tar
The latest firmware was 4.2.2 (Austria 3)
I tried now another Odin version and i flashed it with PID file. The only result is that i get a recovery booting
in the top left corner but it still stucks... i cannot open recovery to wipe cache / factory reset.
The last thing i tried was to flash the original recovery. <- back to the 3 errors.
now i try another odin software with another usb port. odin passes with everything but i cannot open recovery. just stuck at Recovery Booting

Hi,
does Odin give a fail log? Or does it finish successfully?
Which Odin versions did you try?
And the firmware you want to flash now is a Austria 3 one as well? You can also take another version (but still with the same csc) in case that your current one is damaged or something like this.

Hi again.
I used Odin 3.04 and 1.85. Also i tried diffrent USB Ports.
I tried to flash CWM 6.0.4.7 Touch and Non Touch, also twrp.
It passes with all the recoverys as well with the rom from sammobile and the stock recovery rom from the other tread.
i tried with and without pit file. Odin passes everytime.
Afther restarting the phone i just get the blue (booting recovery) or the 3 error messages in the top left corner and it stucks for hours.
Iam not able to boot recovery and wipe the cache... and iam not able to boot into the system do something else.
the only thing working is the download mode.
iam out of ideas.

You can try to flash a three or four part firmware with Odin 3.09, it will wipe your device itselfs

Try flashing the recovery again with auto-reboot unchecked.
But it sounds more like a hardware failure to me.
Thank you all for your help.
And yes. It was a Hardware failure.

[Q] Help "Kernel Not Seandroid Enforcing???"

SOLVED
Hi guys,
First of im not new to rooting or placing custom roms on phones i have done the same with.
HTC Wildfire
HTC HD2 (now this one was a B...th to Flash and root)
Samsung galaxy Core
Samsung Note 1
Now i have purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (gt-i9301l)
And tryed to flash CM12 on it using T.W.R.P 2.8.5.0 recovery for S3 Neo and Odin3 V1.85
Now as soon as i start revovery it already tells me "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing"
i manage to flash CM12 but at boot it tells me "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing"
Now i reverted back to stock (I9301IXXUANH1_I9301IPHNANG1_I9301IXXUANF2_HOME.tar) With Odin3 v1.85 and did the same thing with CM11 with the same results.
now im at stock again and could really use a hand anyone have some suggestions
Don't worry. It's nothing. I have that message as well and everything is fine.

if u find a phone not getting past the initial screen fine, but i would like to be able to do more then just stare at my screen.
That message is normal and it isnt the problem. U exposed it wrong.
What is happening apart from that Message?
it just showes that message at the samsung splash screen and it stays on that boot screen.
Have you already found a solution?
If not, maybe ask the developer?

Soft Bricked

Hi everyone!
So I was a complete fool and with my (rooted) galaxy s4 running 4.4.4 (or 4.4.2) kitkat I downloaded the Lolipop update for my Bell SGH-1337m.
I used an Xda module to change my status from "custom" to something along the lines of "stock" and was then able to download the lolipop update. I should mention that i had clockworkmod installed on this phone, but before the update I had also unchecked all my xposed modules. So then I went to update...
now whenever I try to boot I get "Recovery is not seandroid enforcing" with another message "set warrenty bit: recovery". These two messages also appear even after I boot into recovery (just with "Recovery Booting..." text coming first followed by the rest)
I have attempted flashing multiple ROMS through Odin, as well as a stock recovery file. I am still stuck at this boot process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm in a new city and need my phone to get around... yeah... I screwed myself
"Recovery is not SEAndroid Enforcing" is normal. All that's telling you is that the custom recovery is still installed. With a custom kernel, the message would be "Kernel is not SEAndroid Enforcing" and would appear on the S4 splash screen.
Have you attempted to flash the ROM via Odin with a .PIT file for the I337M? If not, you should find one over in the forums where this should have been posted, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att . Fortunately, in the international S4 forums here, the question is general enough that we should be able to help you anyway.
The .PIT file provides Odin with the correct partition information for your S4, which can ensure the ROM gets installed properly.

OK great! Hopefully I'll find the answer for a .PIT file in terms of setting it up with Odin, I suppose it has something to do with the "re-partition" option in odin, but I'm not doing ANYTHING without a tutorial first
I'll get back to you after I've tried it with a SGH-1337M .PIT file, hopefully I can find one... (Canadian S4 variant, same hardware as AT&T but just the M is different)
You are correct in that it has to do with the re-partition option in Odin. You should have an option to browse to the .PIT file, so Odin knows where to find it. Once Odin sees the file, check "re-partition", and then flash a stock ROM.

Help for SGH-I337M about TWRP

I rooted my phone using CFRoot and installed TWRP but then when I try to flash into recovery I received a message "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" and "SET WARRANTY BIT:RECOVERY" I downloaded the twrp jfltecan.
I know this is an old post but, in case you did not, the message you are receiving is a not uncommon since you flash non-signed Samsung software to the phone.
