Im new here so if this is the wrong place to post this please move it to the relevant section.
I have a Pumpkin NA7021B single din head unit, I am aware that Pumpkin is just a re-seller and not the maker of the head unit and their help is somewhat limited. The problem I have is none of the apps are working, they open but just hang. I have tried downloading various APKs, google play services, google play store, google maps, but most fail to install or will install but hang when opened or just fail to open. I have updated the MCU as suggested by Pumpkin to version 648f8bba-ef09-11e4-8185-000c29ba27c0 but that did nothing. I have reset the HU using the rst button via the hole in the front of the HU but that only resets the user data (wifi, Bluetooth etc).
Is there a way to access the android recovery so I can do a factory restore. I have tried the factory restore via the HU GUI without any luck.
The HU still functions fine, radio, wifi, GPS all work fine and I am able to use google or chrome to access the net. I have spent hours looking for ways to try to force the unit into the android recovery with no success and am now at a loss at what to do next.
I have contacted pumpkin requesting instructions on how to access the android recovery but have yet to get any reply from them.
Any help, suggestions, tips, or tricks will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Sorry for the noob question but I am new to Android Headunits. My Car Honda City had a non-android head unit which stopped working so I had to replace it and I procured a new head unit from the local market and got it installed. Now the problem is that I want to use steering controls on Apps Such as Saavn, Spotify etc but I tried using the MTCDTools which didn't work for me. My Headunit has PX5 board but in the MCU field, there is something else. I am attaching the pictures of the same and will be very helpful If someone can help me figure out how I can make the steering controls work. They Work on Radio, Bluetooth and Native Music Player.
Also, Is it possible to root this android headunit as I was looking to install Viper4Android. It doesn't have any card slot there are only USB Slots available

Also, My Car doesn't have shades and In summers it heats up alot when parked and I have noticed the headunit's touch doesn't works when its parked in the heat and I have to reset it and then it starts working again. Is this normal ?
Can Anyone help me figuring out the Manufacturer of this Unit or guide me how can I find it

So the Android head unit on the family's Tucson is a Beryllium brand Head unit installed by the Hyundai showroom. It boots to a pure black screen, radio doesn't work but Bluetooth does. I think the cause was from a failed firmware update and would like to know how to put it in recovery mode or are there any software I could flash in my flash drive to fix it.
Apologies for the bad photo, the vehicle is in use atm and this is the best photo I could find in my phone
The unit if memory serves me right from the device info was rckPX2 I think? Android 4.4.4

Hello, I have a HU. I installed a Launcher, set it as default, and now it can't go to the Android menu, the Bluetooth is working fine, just a BMW logo looping. I tried to fix it, accidentally bricked it as well (deleted everything with SPF), because it's now not recognized by my laptop. I got my original firmware from the manufacturer I think (link K2001N.img), but they didn't really tell me how to use it. So currently the reverse cam is working, the original BMW menu is working, the Android part is a huge black screen (with back light). I also tried to find test points, with not much luck. Can someone help me to find the test points, and tell me how to use this .img file? Only one RST button is present. I already tried a few test prints with no luck, maybe I can memory dump this image file?

Hi, guys I'm new at this, so bear with me, I got a new android 10 unit from AliExpress, https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLwdGdk, the t7 with 4gb 64gb storage. I got here and checked and it's fine, same specs. My car is a Peugeot 508 2013.
Everything is working according to the specs, but the canbus setting are very different from what I've seen in other units alike this one. The seller has been trying to help me, but is hard due the language barrier and the time difference, 12 hours. I have the code for the factory settings. 3368, dunno if that is helpful.
First I can't seem to find how to put the front camera after reverse with the lines, I tried one option and swaps, but stays on it doesn't automatically turns off. Also there is no option to change the resolution of the camera in the radio.
I saw another video and that unit got messages from the car into the unit.
That's a canbus problem, if it is can I buy another one? Or can it be upgraded without bricking it. Is a launcher issue?, I'm lost.
Also is it safe to install any other launcher via the playstore?
Any tips are really appreciate it.

Here are the pics, according to the seller it cannot be used like that, if I change the canbus for another model of canbus that supports my 508? will the menu change of the canbus? or it has to be the software? Can I install for example the junsun or joying? That has the same CPU?

I just recently purchased an Eonon GA2189S Head Unit.
Build number: full_825x_Pro-Octa PPR1.180610.011.eng.root.20200426.093427 userdebug
Custom Build Version: android-trunk-p0.825X_Pro
First problem: One of the main reasons I bought this head unit was to use Torque to monitor engine vitals in my 2009 Infiniti G37 Coupe. The unit comes with a preinstalled version of Torque OBD, but when I try to download themes I am met with the following error (I will attach screenshot). It does not matter what type of Wifi I am connected to, whether its the strong signal from my home or the hotspot on my iphone.
When I emailed Eonon, they said their "Engineer" said its "not compatible with their head unit" and that they are "sorry". I sent an email to Torque customer service to no avail.
I'm really not happy, as I have had it running on my Android Phones for the last 2 years with absolutely no issue. But this unit doesn't even have a reboot button! I need a paperclip to reboot the system.
Does anyone have any experience with this android build, and im looking for info on what modifications I can make to the OS. I want my Torque themes to work and I do not want to be limited!
Please advise with any suggestions or tips - thank you all so much!
