Hello, I have problem with Signal. I no have notifications push. I have to open signal and now give me new messages. My problem is only Signal, another app works noemal(Message, Whats app, Telegram, gmail itp.

Any one having this issue once their hangouts app gets upgraded. I get the sms but i have to open hangouts to see it. I also disabled my lightflow notifications for hangouts to see if that was the issue but still no change.
Recently flashed CM11 m3 and having a strange issue. It seems like unread emails (gmail app) are setting off a notification sound every 30 seconds or so. I'm not talking about new emails setting off notification sounds, its existing unread emails. If i swipe off the notification from the tray, they stop, until I get a new email, than continues with the excessive notification sounds again. I looked in the gmail app for a setting for this, but cant find it. I see an option to notify for each new email, but not continued notifications for email. Any ideas?
Strange problem. Don't seem to get Gmail push and/or notifications to work when I receive e-mail. The checker is clearly checked in the gmail settings (though the sound is not). But no notifications are visible in the notification bar when I receive new e-mail.
Anyone with the same problem?

go to label settings in gmail and tick notify for every email
Hey guys
Somehow my missed calls, new text messages or also skype do not appear in the notifications, even though I did activate the skype notifications. I could not find any setting for the phone/text messages.
It works well for FB-messages, whats app and other apps.
Does anybody have an idea why?
Hello people. I just received my S8+. I have it for 2 days now and everything except one are amazing. The problem is with messenger notifications. I dont get them. I have messenger to unmonitored apps, i never kill it but i dont get notifications. What it does? I open the app and see many bold letter for new messages but no sound, no push notification nothing. Viber and Whatsapp do it too but more rearely. messenger does it 24/7. any ideas?
make sure that in power saving menu there is no apps which not giving access to push when screen is off
