Dasaita Max6 10.2 inch not responding to touch - Android Head-Units

Hi guys, I just bought and installed this and it took me the whole day. Sadly the unit's screen is not responding to touch. Has anyone experienced this? The buttons to the left don't work either-i would've at least expected those to be responsive.
Whats super weird is the unit does not load. It boots up instantly... Don't these things need load/start up time. It booted instantly as soon as I plugged it in... Thought it would've been a cold start.
I made some videos to help show the problem.
Appreciate any input. As you can see I tried the reset button which is responsive.

I should have mentioned I also tried unplugging and plugging to no resolve as well

You are not holding the pin in the hole for long enough to do a full reset. You have to push the pin in the hole and HOLD IT until the button lights flash, then let go. It takes about 6 to 10 seconds of holding the reset with the pin.
If that doesn't work then there is probably something wrong with the outer touch glass. Maybe it's not fully plugged into the board.
The capacitive glass has a small ribbon connector on it like in the picture. See if that connector is properly plugged in.

Possibly the contact, which is used to detect if the keyboard is open, might not be working.
Mikechannon is the hardware guy on the hermes and im sure he will come across this post at some point
ok thanks but the thing is that i didnt replace to i guess the guy who did it is goin to have to fix it
Hi
I don't have one opened up in front of me but yes Mrvanx has it I think. One of the multi connectors is either un-plugged or not pushed in fully. There is one that is quite liable to "pinging" off unless it's firmly pressed home. No guarantees but I'd be fairly confident that that's all it is. The guy should have checked it after the repair!

This is the likely culprit. It's easy to forget to press it home as it curls itself round on its mylar cable and rests on the connection (ie looks connected but may not be pressed into the connection). Good news is that it's not a major dismantling job. All it needs is the back off to reveal it.

..jittery screen
hey, it looks like your MDA is in the same shape as mine, I wore off the hard buttons similar to yours, which tells me you've had it for a while. Mike was about a year and a half old before I started experiencing issues like that.
I have had a ton of experience with handhelds over the last few years, specifically the HP ipaq line. They were subject to a similar issue where the screen controller connection became degraded causing intermittant video display. It is likely that pressing the aluminum frame above the directional pad will stop the jitter, which is a very short term fix.
Your options would be to disassemble the screen and try to remedy the connection, or simply invest in a new phone. My slider had broke on one side anyways, so I took the opportunity to buy a new (probably refurb) MDA off ebay. I just got it up and running and cant be more happy!!
Hope this helps.

On/Off Button Hard to Responce

Hi all. My elfin's On/Off Button seemed hard to trigger since couple of days and is there any solution to resolve it? Attached is the screenshot of the On/Off button. Thanks in advance.

you meant to disassembly it?
Well, you may have to dissemble it.
My elf has the same problem with the on/off button. I opened the unit and the problem is that the little switch on the circuit board has failed because it's not springing back after it's been pressed . The switch is very small and looks difficult to replace. The camera and reset buttons use the same type of switch, so I'm considering removing the switch used for reset, and soldering it into the on/off switch position. However, as I mentioned, the switches are very small so I'm worried that a heat gun or soldering iron will damage the board. Anyone know an HTC parts supplier that may sell these little switches?

[Q] Screen permanently turned off while performing service for my G2.

Hello Guys.
I got some problem with my 3.5mm jack, so I decided to order a whole new tape with USB connector and 3.5mm jack port.

Got the package with small toolkit to open phone and change this thing by myself.
I've followed instructions from one of many youtube DIY movies.
New parts got installed, everything went pretty well... then closed phone. Turned On... and here I em...
Power button doesnt work, I see no light around the power button, no screen reaction... But I hear that phone turned on because of LG logon sound. Phone reacts while pluged in to charger, USB->PC too.
Attached picture with exact conectors I plugged off while changing parts inside.
Why power button doesnt light up? Why doesnt work? Is there some small connector between power button and the board, because I dont see any, there is a Toshiba Chip just beneath the power button/volume part.
Please help me, give me some advices what exactly could get wrong.

Lines through screen but not damaged/illegible

My Tab A 9.7 has lines/flickering through about 75% of the screen (closest to the home button). The screen is still usable (though barely at times) and fully responsive to touch. I've seen some reports of a loose connection internally, but nobody seems to have the same issue as I do. Some pictures are below:

Any idea if this is repairable/what the fix would be?
Hello
First of all, if you did drop it from a considerable hight it ma be a loose connector, if not, did you flash something and after that the screen started making this lines ?
Your best move will be checking your warranty, if it doesn't apply to your tab any more, try opening it and checking for any loose connectors, mainly the screen ribbon, before that try to look for a teardown instructions for the tab, sometimes they put the cables in places where it's easy to damage if you open the device without any knowledge of how to do it safely.
I had a similar problem on a samsung phone and in my case the screen was faulty, it shows flickering bright lines just like your tab. Replacing the screen fixed the issue.
Good luck
If you broke or dropped the device, then that might be the problem. If not, then it's probably because of the firmware.
If you have not broke or dropped the device, then go to Updato.com and press OS Updates and then type in your device model and it should take about 5 minutes or more to download.
Hope I helped.
