I am trying to add some fonts and custom notification sounds to the applicable folders in the system directory. However, I am getting an error that I can not paste the files in to the folder. It appears that the write permissions are not being changed despite me being prompted to allow the change. I have tried 2 different file explorers, both of which are using root privileges.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks, in advance.

Adb push (file name) /system/(folder you won't to push to)(like app)(bin)

It's not possible to do this on stock since partitions are read only. Only custom ROMs can allow R/W system.

That requires messing with the partitions and will probably cause problems later.
You already have magisk, which purpose is doing everything systemless-ly, use it.

I am very new to the android hacking community so please forgive my ignorance. But is this a program that allows you to create a boot animation for your device?

Assuming you've rooted your device then yes.
Works lang a charm I finally modified my bootanimation using this. One thing though I made a mistake on the command prior making it work.
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/custom/resource (should be customize) How can I remove that. Btw Thanks a lot 2 thumbs up to you.
How to use (I'm stupid so i need instructions) Please
Ill change that now :L
Depending on your phone it has different locations for the bootanimation.
If you tick all the boxes then hit backup open each file until you recognized one as the one you see at the boot screen then simply overwrite that with a custom one. Keeping a backup of course incase it doesnt work properly.
very nice idea! good job!

Hi guys, I've made a batch command program to Archive and Extract files to zips. Why would you use this? Well, back at the time where I was porting backwards and forwards, I worked in a certain folder, then I just have to click on my batch command and it automatically get's zipped.
How does it work:
Extracting: Place your zip in /EXTRACT/INPUT and your file will be extracted to /EXTRACT/OUT
Compressing: Place your zip in /COMPRESS/INPUT and your file will be compressed in the folder /COMPRESS/OUT
Signing: After you Compressed your files, you just select sign and it will be named " updated-signed "
Note:- At the moment the tool and it's folders need to be ran from the desktop!
Ui:
It's a very basic command prompt.
What I'm working on:
I am going to add the following features:
The ability to Root and Unroot Ace
The ability to Odex and Deodex Ace
The ability to Add scripts to Ace.
The ability to be ran from anywhere not just the Desktop.
Installer and windows Ui.
ADB Tools
Sign Apk's
This shall later on be renamed to something like : The Ace All-In-One tool.

Updated the thread, renamed and added the ability to sign. I am thinking of making a Galaxy Ace only tool that can Root and everything in one, and perhaps a universal one like this one is at the moment.

I learned tems that the NOTE 3 does not work deodeks.
I also heard that the application of the recovered Titanium backup does not work
This comes from the fact that the dex files could not move in / data / dalvik-cache
disprove me please?

I really doubt dalvik-cache is encrypted. That would be A LOT of overhead.
Certainly not impossible to deodex either.

tnx for reply, but i made deodex some time, and with zipalign, and without - this can't boot system.
Going only to bootanimation and that's all.
I think framework can't start...
And why after titanium restore app, dex files do not appear into dalvik-cache?

Possible Titanium needs to be updated to work properly on the Note 3. Try manually creating a folder as su in dalvik-cache and create a file.
su
cd /data/dalvik-cache
mkdir test
cd test
touch testfile
If that works, then I would assume something with how Titanium works has changed.
Latest update..

Hi Guys,
Iam now writing a guide to let you know that how to flash stock Rom using latest twrp recovery by both codeworkx or official
Steps :
First open the downloaded stock rom using any zip utilities, for example winrar.
navigate to the following directory
Code:
META-INF\com\google\android
now open the update script using any text editing tool. like notpad++
Remove the first two lines.
Now you re good to go.
If you are still getting the error
then please replace all occurrence of the device name from "le_s2_ww" to "s2" . You can use the find and replace feature of the Notepad ++
Comment below if you have any queries.

Maybe one last question, as I did a lot of version back and forth and I am not able just to flash the bootloader or/and modem file of 19s, I would like to do a clean install of the recovery.
So if I do factory reset with data and cache and start the instalation this will be complete clean?
Or should I delete some files or folders which are beside the sdcard folder, too?
