Hello everyone.
I've an s4 with a light violet halo on the right side of the screen (I try to add pictures asap). Is it possible to verify if it's a screen issue or if I need a replacement? Also, battery doesn't last to much with active screen, could it be a related issue? Or just do I need a new battery too?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
After dropping my nexus 7 on the ground sometimes (not me, but my cousins...), it only shows random colored stripes on the screen. It's not a battery issue!
I saw a lot of "kits" on eBay to replace/fix it, but I'm not sure which one should I pick.
Anybody with knowledge on this issue could help?
Thanks.
Regards.
Hi everyone thanks for coming in.
I have a nexus 7 and I broke the screen long time ago. Recently I ordered a replacement screen and try to replace it by myself.
The screen is able to light up and seems working good, however the screen is repeated and distorted.
It's not easy to explain what's happening so I recordord a video
Please search "youtube fTDfJYY" seems I am a new member and cannot post links
Have anyone faced the same problem? I am not sure it is whether hardware or software issue....
Any idea?
Thank you very much
Hello Experts,
I would like to understand what happened to my N7000 screen.
My phone usually don't sleep and the screen always stayed awake.
recently I noticed that my screen has alot of Icons, keyboard marks and etc stuff imprinted.
I can see everything but theres alot of annoying brownish Icons imprinted.
very noticeable on white screen or programs with white background.
at first I thought it was the screen protector but it wasnt.
I tried to flash my phone and reformated alot and still the same.
Could it be the phone overheated because the screen never sleeps and imprinted the icons and etc?
I wonder what happened and I would love to know if there is any way to fix this.
I would love to attached a photo but since I'm a new member I can't. hopefully I stated everything that can be easily understand.
Thank you!
The image is burnt in. The LCD will have to be replaced

hey guys
for a long time i am having this issue with my screen.
it flickers sometimes, no pattern of times. but it does flickers almost all the time when i put it on automatic backlight, or if i set the brightness to lowest level, or 1-2 level more than lowest.
at first i thought the battery may be going bad, because i did have battery issues. but now that i have bought a new battery, it still happens.
i read that it might occur because of the s-view covers. but i have s-view covers for almost a year, and it only happens for about 3-4 months.
though i did buy a new s-view cover on august. could this be related? i think i did have flickering problems even earlier than august.
either way, i had removed the s-view cover from my phone, it does seem to flicker less. and weird thing, sometimes it just enters the s-view mode where all screen goes black except the window part... maybe the phone misses the cover
any way. what could be the problem? how can i solve it? maybe i should format the phone and install another rom? i have the latest Omega rom version right now.
thanks everybody.
anybody help?
no one?
I think I've found the best solution out there for most annoying screen flickering issues... Done a substential amount of digging and finally discovered the app "Twillight" works like a charm by enabling backlight control...Just try it out with similar issues and post your review and thank me...Cheers...
Hey Guys,
Did you experience any problems in the status bar?
On the official and non-touched CyanogenOS 12.1 sometimes the status bar just don´t want to come down with the finger swipe down. I tried to put Cyanogenmod 13, but the same problem persists. Looks like that on Trebuchet and Nova Launcher the problem is there. But using ADW seems to disapear.
Anyone with the same problems?
Thanks!!!
i think it's a touchscreen problem and not a rom problem. Try touching the left side edge of the display near the bottom and you will see what i mean.

@ op, try to contact the shop where you bought the z1
Thanks for the answers guys.
Something really weird in going on. I never used two SIM chips on my phone, I had one as a spare for my Fiber Internet (4G Backup). So I putted on the phone and the touch problems stopped. 3 days testing and everything is fine. So i decided to take the second (SIM 2) chip out and after 30 minutes, status bar problems again. Put the SIM back, status bar came to life again.
Yep, it is a touch problem, I downloaded a Screen tester. Just have no clue why powering the SIM 2 interface would help on the touchscreen.
