SM-G975U
I just paid my device off which is a Verizon Samsung S10+ on Android 11 UI one.
I rebooted My device and OEM unlocking is missing.
I tried the manual time and date trick and it did not work to make OEM unlocking show and developer options.
anybody have a suggestion? if you need any more info let me know.

Maybe best to ask Verizon.
Some users reported that they really had to wait for about 10 days, as the date/time trick did not work.

[Q] AT&T Disabling USB Debugging on S4 ?

I bought an S4 for the AT&T system yesterday and found it necessary to return today. AT&T made it impossible to enable USB debugging on the S4's for its system.
I chatted online with Samsung's tech support and they said some carriers are doing that and some are not.
This is a ridiculous idea because it makes it impossible to develop Android Apps using the S4, unless you root the phone. I cannot afford to void the warranty, so I'm not going to root it.
Does anyone know any more about this? Are AT&T doing this for all the S4's that run on its system.
Thanks.
Did you goto About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times?

Chrono, thanks. I tried it and it worked.
I wonder who made this bonehead decision to hide the developer options like enabling USB debugging? Was it Google when they wrote Android 2.2? Or did AT&T customize the settings program to do this?
Its not something anyone could have figured out on their own. It cost me and several other people several hours of wasted time and headaches.

Can't unlock bootloader or root Mate 8

I'm probably a bit disappointed for going with a Mate 8. I liked the slightly larger screen and battery life, but the lack of support etc I should have stuck to Samsung or one of the more popular brands.
I got the Mate 8 AL10 64GB 7 months ago and tired to root it then after about 2 days of playing around I gave up. I've now got sick of not having root and decided to try again only to run into the same issues. I simply can't get the bootloader unlocked.
I already had a Huawei ID and had it logged into the phone, but when I try and login to the Huawei site it says invalid email address. i can't log off the Huawei account on the phone and is no way to log out that I can tell.
I decided to try the DC-Unlocker option the price seems to have increased and had to pay an additional $16 to get 15 credits. DC-Unlocker detects the phone searching for Huawei Phoens and set to automatic except the option to unlock is just greyed out and can't get it to do anything. have tried drivers and nothing seems to work.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know before I throw this phone in the bin.

Had the same problem.
My problem was that i tried to read the Bootloader-Code in Fastbootmode.
But thats not how it's done => https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code
If the unlocker isn't able to recognise your phone try selecting "Huawei HiSilicon Kirin Android" in the model-section.
Then you have to enter fastboot and unlock the bootloader with the fastboot.exe . (fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) => https://www.dc-unlocker.com/free-huawei-bootloader-unlock-tutorial
Is your FRP unlocked?
Ok just an update I just wasn't completely sure as it's been a while since I've rooted a phone. I had issues using the Huawei ID and somehow my account was lost. I also couldn't get Dc Unlocker to work just woudln't detect the phone properly. I ended up using Huawei boatloader Unlocker from the play store and worked fine came with an app to save putting in the commands would recommend it if someone is stuck cost $11 which was header than the required 15 credits for Dc Unlocker.
I had issues reading the storage and flashed an unencrypted boot img I came from b357 so wasn't sure if that was needed. After formatting storage which took about 20 minutes was able to get it to work. Just had the zip file on the MICROSD card and has worked fine. With the latest kingvip rom I got it working. I do have an issue with the text in the task bar being the wrong colour and can't see anything half the time which if anyone knows a fix would be great. Otherwise this has restored by appreciation for this phone as I was getting sick of not having root.
Just another update not to worry I found the issue with the statusbar being dark was to do with dark icons enabled in Nova Launcher as it wasn't happening in the stock launcher. Issue resolved now.

[XT1572 BR] Red blinking frame/border, how to get rid of this?

Hello guys,
I've just upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0 and so far so good except that I keep getting a red frame/border blinking all the time on my phone now. Did a fresh new install from completely stock 6.0 to 7.0 via OTA and everything ran without a single problem.
After tons of searching I couldn't really find anything related to Nougat or Moto X Style and this issue. Hopefully someone out there could have any thoughts about this. Thanks!

Been playing around in the Developer Menu I see... Go into Developer Settings and turn off everything (except OEM Unlocking, if applicable) , it is probably one of the "Show" options or Strict Mode is turned on.

That's what I was wondering. Did the OP touch dev options or did they magically turn on...?
Yeah, that did the trick. Thank you very much!

lockscreen removal for a J3 Luna Pro [Tracfone]

My brother passed away and was using this phone until a couple of weeks ago. I don't have the lockscreen pattern but I'm trying to do a little detective work regarding my brothers last activity. I reached out to law enforcement, but they don't have an active investigation and they suggested that I reach out to his cell provider [Tracfone] which I might try. Of specific interest to me is his text message activity on the day of his death.
Anyhow I scoured the net and tried to beat the lockscreen via emergency dialer, and also tried to connect via adb shell and MTP. I also don't think the device was registered via the samsung tools. I'm at the point where the device told me I have 9 unlock attempts left and it will erase the device after. The lockscreen seems to appear at device power and I think that it might not have booted android completely at this point.
Is anybody aware of a method to bypass the lockscreen which would work on this device so I can look into the details surrounding his death?
Sort of desperate here. There seems to be some software called Dr Fone that claims to have a lockscreen removal. However not sure that it works and on this device.
I may have a solution for this if you are wanting to preserve data if not check around on youtube for a video on FRP resetting this. I might have wrote a tutorial on this somewhere but I cant remember atm. Basically if you don't want to preserve the devices data (your brothers as you say) then you will simply factory reset it and then follow an FRP Removal tutorial you can find on here and or youtube.
btw nice leet username =]

Speaking of nice usernames
If you're still around, I have an old J327t1 that I had dropped and broke the screen on a few years ago. I recently fixed it, but can't remember PIN. I would like to preserve the data and am interested in what you have

All you need to do is find a recovery for that and flash it then go into the lock files and remove those. You can find some guides here on XDA or on youtube.
This was before I got into development, so adb isn't enabled, bootloader is still locked, and the phone is not rooted, so I'm skeptical I'd be able to flash. It's also running (I believe) Marshmallow, and most of those "find and delete lock settings" methods were for 4.x Kit-Kat and below. I could be wrong though.
If you have a particular thread in your watch list, I'd be grateful for the link.
I've been all over looking for a solution, hence me posting in here as opposed to creating a thread. Didn't want to reinvent the wheel if I didn't have to.
Despite the above limitations, the device has not received any updates since June 2017, it DOES go into MTP mode when I hook it to my laptop, and I have verified that it is vulnerable to the Mtpwn exploit.

Also, I turned a moto g7 Play into a Nethunter device and had tried Android PIN Bruteforce, but after entering in so many PINs it would make me wait 30 seconds to try again and I couldn't figure out how to get my g7 to keep the screen of the J3 on. Or wake it back up, since it requires you to hit power then swipe the screen.
I ended up wiping it because it had Pie and no workaround for the wifi throttling, and installed Q. It's rooted, but I haven't set up nethunter back up on it yet. I do have an S5 that I has Nethunter, but haven't set it up with HID support yet. Plus, the battery on that would drain too quickly to use for this process.

Lenovo TB-X304L update to 8.1

Lenovo started sharing the update now with Android 8.1
Sharing at least in Finland works fine.
Update for TB-X304F also has gone live. Works.
One thing I noticed is a new 'OEM unlock' in the developer settings - I haven't tried it yet, but perhaps this will open up this device more easily to 3rd party roms?
Upgrade

Were you rooted when you upgraded? If so what steps did you take to get there? I have the upgrade file but when I tried to install it, twrp message came back and said I had the wrong package.....but it is the same model as yours
No, not rooted.

I don't know if it's the 8.1 update since I wasn't on Nougat all that long after I got the tablet. But does anyone have an issue with the lock screen? Sometimes it take me at least 5 times to swipe the lock screen up. Don't know if it's a software issue or the touchscreen is just not that good.

Well I don't know why it seems so finicky with me. With my Nexus 10, I was able to just do a short flick on the lock screen and it would unlock. It seems like with this tablet, I have to really do a good, long, specific swipe to unlock it. It also seems to respond better with my knuckle for some reason. Maybe I just have to get used to it. The tablet seems fine everywhere else.
Can anyone just help me downgraded the system with system sparse image in fastboot mode provided by o.p. of rooting thread, but now it is not booting up just showing lenovo logo and in fastboot mode again
