I have to give a credit to the developer for giving us such an awesome ROM. It is blazing fast and has quite amount of options. How To Flash:
- Make sure that you are using the most up to date TWRP or any custom recovery
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android
(A full wipe is when you wipe the following partitions: System + Data + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache)
- Flash the latest version of the ROM
- Flash any of the recommended GAPPS linked below
- Flash Magisk / SuperSU if you want root.
- Reboot and you should be good. ENJOY!!
- To dirty flash updates, wipe System + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache then flash all the ROM, Gapps, Magisk etc.

Just flash this fix after installing the Rom and all your problems will be gone.

Just saw Franken Rom video on youtube couple of days ago i think it was for OP5T, i am very pleased to see this Rom for Vince, gonna download it ASAP...

all are having a little different customization options and some performance differences nothing elese

Hello rom is great but i have found something that annoying, if i press the recent button it directs to the last app that you open, i doesn't stay on recent where you can choose where you want to jump

The dev of franken ROM is working to fix this bug until then u can use slim recents or reboot your device when this bug appears in recents

The UI is very creative.
But MIUI is still the safer choice as daily driver in my opinion.
Will definitely bookmark this thread.

Thanks for the ROM and Kernel, Soura. Btw is there any way to fix the adaptive brightness bug? I can't seem to turn it off.

I fixed it by restoring my vendor partition backup from 33bca's v2 Treble. Currently still on LiquidRemix now. Thanks for putting inside the InfinityKernel as base kernel for LiquidRemix. I'll be rooting for your updates.

Btw Soura, after two days of usage (switched to latest InfinityKernel v3.7, which imho IS THE BEST UPDATE for InfinityKernel), I haven't seen any bugs or problems so far. Thank you for the update. It fixed everything

How about bug sound? It that fixed?

1. Manual focus causing out of focus.
2. Sound distortion.
3. IR blaster not working (most OREO roms i flashed have this issue)
I can't last on sound distortion so i reflashed nougat RR so i haven't found more. Will try to flash again next time and report bugs.

Hi, thanks for officially bringing AEX for riva. I flashed your latest build around 2-3 hours ago and switched back to my backup afterwards. I was on the go, needed wifi tethering, so I couldn't fetch some logs for you. The wifi tethering and usb tethering is bugged. Tried both, both of them successfully connected but no internet connection from the device was transferring to my laptop. After a minute or less of being connected, suddenly the phone's systemUI crashes and reopens. After it reopens, the battery on the statusbar shows 0% and everything freezes (touchscreen stops responding) which ended up forcing me to do a force reboot (holding the powe button).
First I thought it was because I flashed latest inferno kernel, but after restoring stock aex kernel (the same bug persists) and then after that doing a clean flash with just the rom and magisk, still the tethering is bugged.
Other than that, without using tethering, the rom is stable enough to use. I tested one game, and it ran smoothly the same as my previous rom (NOS Pie). Overall I had no issues, except for tethering. Tested arnova's GCam Mod, and it worked the same as my previous roms.
Once again, thank you for bringing AEX riva. Rooting for the updates and fixes. Kudos!

So far no, the phone keeps soft rebooting after a minute of hotspot.
Gaming performance is great tho.

Please Fix Hotspots & tethering. I have done clean install, hospot & tethering (works, but when it was loaded into my PC, it was detected that there was no internet access then the phone restarted after a minute or two of the hotspot.)
