I have a live demo version of note 4.Basically these are same n910f Note 4's without network hardware part .I have removed the retail mode by flashing stock 5.0.1 Rom of Germany. But I'm not able to flash any 5.1.1 Roms and bootloader. It goes to bootloop.
Maybe you give it a try with a custom rom...
i guess there is no warranty anyway

Did you try to flash the new bootloader and modem? because this is needed to run the latest 5.1.1 firmware.

o Remember:
This tutorial is only for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F. Please don’t try this on any other variants of the phone.
This is an official firmware by Samsung, not a modified or a custom ROM.
Complete Step-By-Step Instructions:
Step 1 – Download Android 5.1.1 N910FXXU1COH4 for Galaxy Note 4 to your computer and extract the zip file.
Step 2 – Download ODIN v3.09 which will help you to install Android 5.1.1 on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F.
Step 3 – Switch OFF your phone. Now go to Download Mode. How? Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button, till you see the Samsung logo or the red and yellow text on the screen.
Step 4 – Make sure you have your Galaxy Note 4 USB drivers installed on your computer.
Step 5 – Open ODIN on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is in the Download Mode.
Step 6 – If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number. This step might take some time.
Step 7 – Now select the files that you have to flash/install on your phone. These files are to be found from the extracted files in Step 1.
Click on ‘PDA’ and select file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
Click on ‘Phone’ and select file with ‘MODEM’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘CSC’ and select file with CSC’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Click on ‘PIT’ and select the .pit file. NOTE: This only applies if you have a 32GB internal storage phone otherwise, skip this step.
Step 8 – In ODIN, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. As for the Re-Partition option, check it ONLY if you selected a .PIT file in the above step.
Step 9 – Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
Step 10 – After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.
That’s it.
In this file zip file there must be a pit file. just try this.

Also cannot get any 5.1.1 to work on my Note4 Live Demo Unit, same boot loop issue, but no problem with 5.0.1. Can reach "optimising applications" on the first boot but it then crashes and phone reboots.
Never touched pit partitioning in odin, so may not be this.
Could it be that 5.1.1 requires checking of something upon first boot that Live Demo Units do not have, but 5.0.1 does not do?
Have so far only managed to install custom 5.1.1 Note4 roms using Dual Boot Patcher. First installing Echoe rom v9, which is 5.0.1, on base OF2, using Dual Boot Patcher, this becomes the primary rom. Then can install many 5.1.1 custom roms via Dual Boot Patcher, such as SOKP, BlissPOP, CMremix, CRdroid, SlimRemix, all boot up and work.

Hi there,
My tablet got updated to 7.0 Nougat here the other day. Now a few functions I needed in 6.0.1 is no longer working in Nougat.
So I of course I downloaded stock rom, odin, and added the files to their corresponding selections, and as I hit Start, it reads the file, and as it goes on to flash system or data, it just fails right out of the blue. This is early start even before its flashed anything it seems.
The error code showing on the tablet is: "system rev. check fail device:1 Binary:0"
FRP lock is OFF aswell. Tried flashing it over a custom ROM aswell, but same error persists. It actually started asking for PIT file all of sudden. But even with that handled, it still gave fail on same place. Tried 3 different OS versions of 6.0.1 for my tablet.
Any idea how to bypass this version check? It's like the tablet has added some data into its motherboard saying its on 7.0 and nothing below is allowed except custom. Is there any way to flash the downloaded stock ROM to be flashed in Odin, in TWRP?
Also just using a custom ROM isnt an option due to safetynet is a part of some of the functions I require.
EDIT:
Just after typing this, I managed to use V5 of Ultra Lean ROM for T580, did full unroot of SuperSU after a full boot, and said yes to attempt Stock Boot Image, and No on Stock Recovery. Now safetynet gave validated status
I'm not a complete noob, but also haven't done anything regarding phone flashing in a while and this technology seems to change very quickly, so hard to keep up....
The Issue
I cant get into Recovery (Power + Bixby + Vol Up), my phone just shows the Samsung Logo and stays that way.
Forward
I have a SM-G950FD
I have no clue what the CSC code is
I am able to get into Download mode
I have a recent backup of EFS, CPEFS, and RADIO partitions
Odin does detect my phone
OEM Lock is OFF
What I did
I cant remember the sequence of events very well, just that I was on Nougat (I think) and wanted to try newer roms
I tried LightROM ([Samsung][ROM][PIE][9.0][13-July-2019][S8_S8+_F_FD][v21]LightROM.zip) which worked OK but I found out I wasn't rooted
So after using TWRP to flash a few more things, like SuperSU and still not getting a rooted device I decided to try a different CFW
I tried to install (hadesRom_PIE_Stock_v9.0.zip) from TWRP (This did not boot into the ROM)
I then tried (BatStock-Rom_SM-G95XF_V1.2.0.zip) from TWRP (tHis also did not boot into the ROM)
I then probably tried a few other things...
My phone now only starts with Samsung logo screen, and I cant get to Recovery/TWRP
Messing with ODIN
Only thing here is that I tried to install the latest version of TWRP with ODIN. While the flash succeeds, I still cannot get to Recovery.
I probably did try an older version of TWRP first (such as twrp-3.2.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar)
and I probably tried an older version of ODIN earlier too (Odin3_v3.12.5)
Last thing I tried was to flash latest TWRP (twrp-3.3.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar) with the latest ODIN (Odin3_v3.13.1)
Anything I can do to get TWRP back?
Thanks so much to everyone who keeps up with this stuff
Ok, made some progress. In order to repair phone, just need to use ODIN to flash (AP, BL, CP, & CSC) via Official Samsung 7.0 Nougat ROM.
Then after I install TWRP (twrp-3.2.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar) phone goes into bootloop.
Re-installing 7.0 Nougat to repair recovery.
Is there a magic combination to installing PIE + TWRP + SuperSU ?
Downloaded a 9.0 Pie Samsung Official from Austria (G950FXXU5DSFB_G950FODX5DSF1_MAX.zip) and Installing.
This guide looks promising https://www.androidinfotech.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s8-sm-g950f-pie/ . . .
the guide was very helpful. I now have Android 9.0 Pie + TWRP + Magisk (instead of supersu)
General Guide, Works even for phones with Issues

If you don't see OEM Unlock in Developer Options . . .
https://www.the***********.com/fix-missing-oem-unlock-toggle-samsung-galaxy-devices/
If you get "Cannot mount /data and unable to find crypto footer." when you try to install the Big 3 (Magisk-v19.3.zip, no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip, RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/help/twrp-mount-data-unable-to-crypto-footer-t3360331/page3
next I will attempt a Pie Custom ROM....
Using odin, twrp was put into s5 lte-a, and Lineage OS was installed in the internal storage, and then installed using twrp install.
However, when I tried to reboot, it freezes at the boot screen.
So I searched sammobile to find the genuine firmware, but there was a lock called "Premium".
I searched for a day, but in the end I couldn't find it.
So I keep downloading Lineage OS and trying it out.
NEED SOS
I tried using KIES and a smart switch (?) but couldn't recognize it

Hello, I have the 128GB version of the Galaxy Tab S5e, and i followed the guide on here to unlock the bootloader and root with magisk. I have the latest magisk, and patched my AP file with what said it was the latest version from frija. But now when i open any kind of file explorer (ive tried 3 different ones, including the native Files app that comes on the tablet) it says storge space is XX.XXGB / 32.00GB. It also says 32GB if i plug it into my pc and check from windows explorer. Any idea why? I also made sure i used the correct CSC when picking my AP file to patch btw
It's says in the guide NOT TO flash the patched AP file alone or odin will resize the data partition. Go back to the guide and flash full firmware again.
