is there any diference between region OTA's?

I need ur opinion about region's OTA as far as I know many users have updated from B160-170 to android 6. But how about B199 is it possible to update without any risk? or should I wait for official release?
Another question is about Certification, is it show country of the phone is made? or just region from where I can update it. Sorry for my bad english, I hope u understand me.

There are no risks. You can download any official update from any country and install them via local update.
But you need to be on b170(ds)/b171(ss) in order to update to b550/b551/b560.
My phone also can with b181(5.1.1 - vodafone romania) and i had to downgrade to b049 then upgrade to b171 then upgrade to b551.

That's actually not true. you can upgrade from higher but you have to do a local update.
for the B170 (dual sim) got for the b560
for the b171 (single sim) go for the b551

And what did i just said? Read my post again.
Also, not all the versions are suported for upgrade to mm, that's why i said 170/171 is fully suported.

New Mate 8, old Software

Greetings, people.
Since my old Mate 8 had a problem with the screen, Huawei Colombia decided to give me another one for warranty. The new one is from a different Carrier but is the same. Unfortunately, the Software version is stuck in EMUI 4.0 and Firmware NXT-L09COLC45B135.
I'm just curious... C45 version is for Latin America devices as C432 is for Europe. I know that. My question is... Is there a more advanced software version for this particular device/carrier? Is it possible to flash a Nougat ROM for an European model?

You can flash an european firmware without problem!

I mean...unlock bootloader, install TWRP and then flash the ROM? Can I use this one (NXT-L09C432B580)?

Nougat in Macedonia?

Is there anyone from Macedonia who has received official OTA update for Nougat for model L21 C432B161? I'm on VIP sim card and still have no update, but in the region Huawei users already entire week receiving OTA.
What can be the problem?

I am from Macedonia and also using VIP and I haven't received the update but I installed it using Firmware Finder app and its full OTA so if you want Nougat then you CAN try with the FF method.

Today 12.06.2017 i got official update l21c432b370 DIAL sim

vns l21 c432 b161 first updated to b371 and then again check for updates, to b381.

Any news about BND-L21 updates

PLZ any one knows about any updates for honor 7x i stuck on b101

You and other hundred of people including me.. and I don't understand why but we should start receiving the b123 that everyone lready receives.. we can't either go to firmware finder and update. Because our imeis aren't approved

So we have to wait

I have L24 US version of Honor 7X. It was stuck at firmware B101. Always said "No update". Customer support could not help. I had a ATT Mexico SIM in it. As soon as I changed the SIM to T-Mobile US, it found updates B130 and B140. So update depends on SIM.
I also bought another Honor 7X that had already B130 and put in Movistar Mexico SIM and it found right away update B140. So it may be that only B101 needs a US Sim to update.
I hope this helps other people who are still stuck at original firmware B101.

How did you manage to get the update ? I have the same problem

I can update from B101 to B102 before by using FF, then I cannot update my Phone anymore. I don't why I cannot receive any update. Is that Hong Kong cannot receive the update data?

it is possible. you can flash indonesia or india or eu rom for your device.

Yes, it is possible. My POCO M3 with JFEUXM 12.0.7.0 flash with JFIDXM 12.0.5.0.
