Stucked on bootloop after flashing old Magisk - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello guys.
I need your help. I've accidentally flashed old version of magisk (20.0) as magisk module from within manager - I know, I'm a noob
Now I'm stucked on bootloop. When I try to re-flash patched image through fastboot, I get notified that it
FAILED (Write to device failed (no link))
Honestly speaking - Idk what to do now. I wouldn't like to erase my phone again. Please help me get out of this somehow
Any help would be appriciated

You don't need freegee.
Root with kingroot (takes stable internet connection and about 3-4 tries) or simply root with the method in original guide
Then use Autorec to install recovery. Don't use any other methods. If its official lollipop, use lollipop autorec for your phone. Otherwise simply autorec kitkat recovery and flash away. Make sure u wipe system too before flashing a rom.

Use autorec. Also learn to use the forum search function. It is very helpful.

lenovo k4 note error in boot.img

hey
i tried unlocking the bootloader using recovery unlocking methods and through sp flash tool, rooting the android version 5.1 thorugh kingroot, then after installing the twrp.img it reboots and throw up an error showing as invalid .img file and install a lenovo.img itself and further it keeps restarting i tried the same with many twrp(recovery.img) files available in many links found in youtube and also in few threads of xda, but nothing working rather than landing up in the same boot error.
pl somebody help me out in the link with working custom boot loader .img and also with steps rather than facing the landing up in the same error.
Same problm
I will try to install recovery with flashify and my devices can't turn on
It will shows invalid boot.img
Help me.....
Sorry for my bad English

580 stuck at Downloading...

Hello!
So my 580 (rooted, stock) is stuck in Download mode. This followed a Magisk update and reboot, and it seems like I can't even power the device off - even through TWRP, choosing Power Off reboots it and I'm stuck with Downloading...
Any ideas what to try? Should I reflash the ROM through Odin (which parts?), and if so, what will I lose?
Thanks for listening
PS tried flashing a known good Magisk zip, aborted with:
ERROR: 1 because: "Unable to unpack boot image". Any help greatly appreciated...
PS2: Tried flashing Magisk Uninstaller, interesting: it failed with "Magisk is not installed!".

Seems like you've actually wiped the device.
Flash stock firmware with odin and start again.
Not sure how I could've wiped it - I did nothing of the sort that leads to it, like going into settings, recovery or Odin
But in any case, I did have to reflash from start and set up my device again... what a PITA!
