Samsung galaxy S10 plus - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Hi, all
I haveca Samsung galaxy S10 plus dual sim it is factory unlocked by Vodafone and I now own the phone and paid off the contract and switched to a 3 mobile contract sim only.
My question is can I download the firmware for 3 mobile now instead of Vodafone and reflash the phone with it. Can anybody please advise .
Kind regards .

Typically when you insert a different service providers SIM your phone detects the change and updates it automatically. Your device also has the OXM Multi-CSC option. If you only want to change your service provider to Three Mobile try this.
Open your phone’s dialer and type the following code with your device IMEI number: *#272*IMEI number# (replace the text with your device’s IMEI number).
You can find your phone’s IMEI number on the box your device came with. You can also get the IMEI number under Settings> About phone. Having dialed “*#272*IMEI number#”, you’ll see a screen with the list of available CSC codes for your device.Select the CSC that you want and tap the Install option.

Rogers I337M not prompting for Unlock Code

I have a used Rogers Galaxy S4 I337M (from Ebay) and I have purchased an unlock code from a third party site. The problem is I cannot for the life of me get the phone to prompt me for the unlock code. I've tried Bell and Fido SIMs with no luck (they work on the phones I pulled them from just fine).
I've tried flashing stock 4.2.2 and trying all of the dialer codes I could find. I've also used Samsung Kies to restore the latest lollipop firmware, but this still does not prompt and the dialer codes don't work here also.
I've also tried going into the dialer service menu (*#0011#) and enable PERSO SHA256 ON and reboot, and still no prompt. Foreign SIMs either show "Unregistered SIM" or "Emergency Calls Only".
The only way I managed to generate a prompt was to do an NV rebuild from the service menu, and the unlock code said it was successful, but the phone still refuses to get any service. The phone does see the networks when I got to Network Operators, but it fails to register or says "unable to connect, try again later".
Can anyone help me get this phone working?
You confirmed that the model # is sgh-i337m in download mode?
The imei from the dialler (*#06#) matches the imei on the label under the battery?
The imei from the dialler is blacklisted?
Tried flashing the latest ROM using Odin?
Tried unlocking the phone using the free method with regionlockaway?

Thanks for your reply, looks like the imei is blacklisted (hadn't thought of that). I guess I'll see if I can get myself a refund.
If you want to keep the phone, try to have the seller get it removed from the blacklist database.

CSC Change - SIM Lock

Hey Guys,
Maybe you can help with this. I wanted to update my GS8 SM-G950FD to the latest version. Upon wiping the phone, I flashed the most current software, and then used the latest CSC changer to edit my CSC to TMB like it was on the previous build so that I can enjoy Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE.
However, it seems during this process once it had completed, my phone is now showing a Not Supported SIM/Invalid SIM stating that I need to use the T-Mobile App to unlock the phone. This was a fully unlocked G950FD from the get go and I can't figure for the life of me how to remove the SIM lock that's apparently now on the phone. I've tried using at least 10 different carrier SIMS, including T-Mobile and none work.
Any help would be appreciated.
You should try to flash back to a G-950F CSC - the images are not compatible between the Snapdragon and Exynos phones.
I tried that with both XSP and BTU CSCs and now it’s says “SIM Network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK.”
Says that no matter which SIM I insert.

SIM PUK comes from your carrier. Call the carrier and ask for PUK code and see if it will work.
Also if you go to recovery menu, it will re-apply CSC.

Clarification on unlocked s8(g950u1) and wifi calling.

I have an unbranded unlocked s8 that I got off amazon. I tried flashing the firmware to att (following the "switch to any carrier firmware 100%" post) to get wifi calling. After flashing it I was able to get the wifi calling option but whenever I click on it I get an error saying "Oops! We can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling for your account. Think this message is a mistake? Ask the person who can make account changes to call us...". Now my question is can this be fixed by giving att a different imei number? Currently they have the number for my unlocked s8, so say if I give them the imei number from my friend's att s6(he is currently using) would this feature start working?
Side question: I downloaded Phone INFO and Original CSC code is blank and Firmware's CSC Code and Active CSC code are both ATT is that how it's supposed to be? Also in download mode CARRIER still says XAA do either of these things matter?

Does it matter if I give them an imei number from a phone that is currently being used on their network already? And do imei numbers ever update automatically or once I tell them the new number it was stay that number even if my phone actually has a different one?

Reason why ymmv is because some people said they have put their spouses imei number and it has worked. Others have said it reverted back to their original imei number.
When the phone tries to register for wifi calling, the IMEI of the phone needs to match the one ATT has registered to your sim card. Chat with ATT support online and give them your new IMEI. After they make the change, wifi calling will work.

WAS-LX2AC02B133 Vodafone debrand

Hi Guys,
so i bought this phone WAS-LX1AC02B133 for dual sim based on all the specs i saw browsing the net only to discover
my vodafone contract phone doesn't have the menu for configuring the system.
The phone also only shows me a single IMEI number, but i called huawei support and the guy confirmed
a) the device has 2 IMEIs (he told me the 2nd IMEI so i have both)
b) that it is only locked out because of the branding.
All the posts i read seem to say the second sim wont have a valid IMEI.
In view that it has 2 IMEIs (with only one masked out) can someone tell me;
a) how can i backup the current image so i can later restore to stock if required
b) how can i switch the brand to allow dual sim config.
thanks

Cannot go back to original service provider SW ver

S10 plus had this INS/INS, INS/INS in service provider SW ver. Typed *#272*imei# and selected BTU for sales code and netowrk code that made it BTU/BTU, BTU/INS in service provider SW ver in phone software info . Now I can't enable caller ID and spam protection so want to get back to INS/INS, INS/INS but can't as the same *#272*imei# does not work anymore. Odin Installed INS firmware and applied old method of going 2 recovery, removing sim factory reset etc. etc. Nothing changed it. PLZ HELP. Thank you.
Any help???
