Kinda new to this. I've had this headunit for about 2,5 / 3 years now.
I dont like the looks of the provided software/launcher + its really buggy sometimes.
I've tried to contact the seller multiple times for an update, but never got any reply.
Is someone here willing to help me install a firmware update/new launcher?

Thats just a root right?
I really want to just change the skin of the headunit. Tried multiple launchers but it blocks me from using music related apps

I had the same roblem with an Xtrons Android unit. Could not work out a way around it. When I did get a skin on there it could not access any of the pre-installed functions, only any I installed from Playstore. I gave up on it. Sorry, not much help!

I too faced problem and I tried flashing stock rom with odin but didn't work in stock rom too..last night i swtiched off and left it to charge for 15 mins - 20 mins and then i switched on to check the camera but it WORKED like before. I captured several pics without any probelm.
This is not a hardware problem actually, try it out yourself you can save money instead of going to service centre.

Problem is something is making camera unaccessable so either hw problem or software problem. Try reflashing stock rom and see if it works.

Cheers buddy, this happened to me like today... There were no dalvik cache files to delete so I just did clear cache using links2sd rebooted, thanks for this... Would have saved me a lot of time as I was seriously considering doing a re-flash of stock rom!

Even mysellf my camera had the same problem, I tried to flash stock room an Hatyon but it didn't work. But today it suddently worket I froze with Link2SD and I was thiking seriously on removing this cam app, thank God I didn't have to do that.
I dinie that this is a hardware problem, if it is so why the camer gets vack by it's own???

No use has changed my Rom in Odin for several versions, but still giving memso problem now believe it is in HW but I do not the slightest idea how to open the aparalho, someone would have the technical manual?
My problem is fix now
Got it, fix my camera opening my device and moving the camera a bit causing the system to recognize the camera again is rather a hardware problem.

Вимкніть телефон, зніміть задню кришку, вийміть акумулятор, карту пам'яті, і, за бажанням SIM картки. Далі необхідно розкрутити 5 гвинтиків (два вгорі по боках, два внизу по боках і один внизу посередині. Акуратно підваживши збоку відділити задній корпус від плати та екрану (від'єднувати плату від екрану не потрібно, як і відповідно знімати два шлейфа - від гріха подалі). Ось ми дісталися до камери без зайвих перешкод. Беремо сірник, можна розколоти його навпіл (щоб тонший став), натискаємо акуратно на кожен край камери (камера квадратна з круглим об'єктивом, то власне на об'єктив бажано не тиснути), при цьому міцно тримаючи телефон в долоні, щоб нічого іншого не відпало, чи не зіслизнув сірник повз камеру чи раптом не заскочити на сам об'єктив. Добряче потиснувши кілька разів з усіх чотирьох країв на квадрат з камерою, протираємо її від зайвого забруднення, як і скло з відкрученого та знятого нами корпусу та обов'язково перевіряємо шлейви (два, один збоку більший - від екрану, другий вгорі, менший) щоб ба не відчепилися чи то відпали. А ділі скручуємо все в зворотньому порядку. Корпус повинен похрустіти та защіпитися звідусіль міцно але без фанатизму - корпус повинен потрапити точнісінько в дірочки крізь направляючі для закручування наших п'яти саморізів). Тут головне не забути акумулятор ( ), бо були випадки, коли телефон без нього не вмикався!!!

Hi dear ppl,
I have Teyes SPRO Head Unit and it was amazing and steeting wheels control worked fine. Then i updated on newer version CC2 and firmware is alot snappier etc.
BUT steering wheel control app wont just work, and i would like if someone can extract the app from original spro firmware, i would like to install that older version.
Or you have anyother app i wpuld like to try it.

I'll try that tomorrow, and will let you know if that resolves my problem. The update, btw, is not a big one I think... I can live with the previous one ?

There is little point in upgrading to yet another stock firmware. Chances are it'll improve absolutely nothing. You're currently running Android 8 API 27 operating system (so it's a 10.1 fake).

They do not produce it anymore so will be difficult to find. I have problem with audio - EQ and balance does not work. The seller said that the factory do not produce that model anymore... Try to find something on Baidu...I am sure that you could find soft there.

The reason your EQ and Fade don't work is because you don't have a dedicated onboard chip known as TDA7729. It's common among models YT9213A, YT9216AJ and sometimes YT9216BJ.
