Hi everyone, I'm looking for a custom rom (with android 7 or higher) for Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T113 running kitkat 4.4.4, which unfortunately doesn't support a lot of new apps.
is there any possibilities?
my bad, it should be posted in questions & answers section, but posted here by mistake!
hope from admin to move it to the right section.
Anyone?

Hi guys,
I have an [ROM] AOKP(Jellybean 4.2.2 )Task650 (6.7.2013) on my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3. SGH-747. I have been experiencing problems installing Non Market (Non playstore apps - using .apk files). When I install, these apps have huge fonts - maybe 300% zoom. I tried the same apps on Nexus 7 on stock 4.2.2, it works fine there. Does anyone have a similar issue ? Any solution ?
There is a Q&A thread specifically for Task's AOKP you know...
You'll probably have better luck there.

Hi guys,
I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and I am fairly certain, that I want to use Cyanogenmod on this device. Unfortunately there are no s4 mini custom roms released yet, so I thought I would try to port it myself. While this is my first android phone, I have gone through the flashing process on the phones of a few friends and I am a long-time linux user and developer, so I feel pretty confident, that I can do it.
I did some reading, but still have a few questions:
Is it correct, that Samsung smartphone bootloaders are generally unlocked? (Unless it's a carrier specific version)
Is it correct, that it is not *required* (but useful) to have CWM recovery (or similar) on samsung phones to install custom roms?
Heimdall or odin can flash them anyway?
What would I have to do to permanently brick the device? Can this happen if I mess up the kernel, recovery or anything else?
Is this guide a good resource for porting CWM to the i9195?
Regards,
Flyser
P.S.: Can we have a seperate s4 mini section in this forum?
bump
plz if u got any rom for s4 mini >> plz give me a link .. i need to port it for my htc sensation >> thanks
cyanogen might work. or maybe some rom from similar device.
some news about?
This is ridiculous... how isn't such a mainstream device supported? It's the top selling phone currently in my country...
Maybe you don't look in the right Forum section? the Root Kits and CRoms are currently in Development. Looking here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2364980 So be patient. Don't forget there are all Homemade.

This is the development section - questions go in the question & answer section
There is cm11 - you will find it in the Dev section & the support thread in the general section (both threads are on the 1st page so I'm sure you can find them)
Note apps will still need to be armv6 compatible
Hi would like to know if there is any way to dual boot between roms on the note 4 specifically TouchWiz and CM12
Hi there,
I'm sorry but I don't find anything related to your question.
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Hi everyone,
I may will buy a S5 (SM-G900F) soon, and in this case I will root it and install a custom ROM.
But I don't understand how this forum works : what is the difference between android development, unified development and original android development ?
Thanks.
PS : I'm french, sorry if my english is bad.
android development is kinda general, basic rom stuff. Unified development is for all the versions of the phone as there are over 2 dozen different S5's and original development is for custom ROMs that are mainly AOSP based and or written by a specific dev from source code
