Hello,
I have activated the canvas function on the lock screen and have it "draw" a picture.
Is there any way to get the image or do you know of an app that produces similar results?
Thanks

Hey guys,
the other day I noticed that the Touch2 default background has a shadow on the top of it - I removed the top bar from my touchflo and now it's annoying me.
The default background that displays before Touchflo loads doesn't have this shadow, though, and neither does the lock screen when set to default.
I've searched the forums but couldn't find it - does anybody know the location of the default background as it is before touchflo loads over the top?
Cheers
Jennan
Hello Jennan, agree with you that the schadow does not look nice for the reason you mention....when trying both today screen and lockscreen the shadow remains....however with lockscreen it seems that the wallpaper is "shifted upwards" so less shadow visible....see also picture here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578168
No idea how that is done.......
thanks frank, you're always helping me out. appreciate it
Frank, I think I found the answer
I disabled touchflo and took a screenshot with Ilium Screen Capture. I then edited that image slightly to stretch it where the top and bottom bars are - it's not perfect, but given that those areas are normally covered, it's as close as we're going to get.
Image is free to use for everyone, no credit needed.
Nice work.....!
Checked my "reservoir" and found this theme from Hero.....not the same but perhaps you like aswell.....
Cheers Frank, thanks for that
By the way I am using yours right now......
Hey i´m new here and hope I´m in the correct area with my cuestion.
I wantet to know if it is possible to not show my wallpaper before I paint the pattern lock on my phone. so it would just be possible to see it after painting it and maybe before there is just a black screen or another picture.
Cheers Arn0nym!
Hey everyone!
I have been trying to get pinch zoom working in a SurfaceView, and I can get it to detect if a pinch is happening and all, but here is my dilemma.
I am using canvas to draw a grid to the background. The grid is a 2d array of Rect objects, so as I pinch, I change the size of the Rects. My problem is getting it to zoom into the correct area of the grid.
So, my question is how to do the correct transformation on something like this? Is there a way to put an ImageView into the canvas and draw to that? I will post the relevant code when I get home from work later today, but I figured I would post this just to see if anyone had done something similar.
Thanks in advance!
There's a way to get animated contact picture which is pretty cool and isn't on s7/edge.
You record a gif go to contact photo and change to the gif and this is animated in contact details plus if you pull contact pic down in contact list you get full screen and also you get animated contact icon when getting call from person you assign gif to.
That's a really cool idea! Does it actually exist on any phone right now?

That is brilliant! Thanks for the find
Was thinking now i need to redo a picture (well GIF), then realised i can edit my camera roll using the GIF capture tool - NICE.
Download Animated Photo plugin from Galaxy Apps for the stock camera. It Captures in GIF from the stock Camera, and then can be applied as a contact image. Tested and works.
However, The annoying fact is - S8 doesn't display Full Screen Images of contacts for incoming calls.

Is there a mod/hack/bypass for canvas AOD?
The thing is that I pick the picture that I want to be as my canvas and it applies it to the AOD and the normal pic is set on my home screen but I want to change the homescreen wallpaper while keeping the canvas I originally set uo, yes I get the point of canvas that it's making the outline of my current homescreen....
But is there a way to keep the original canvas that I want and Change the homescreen wallpaper to however I choose?
