Hi everybody,
I have a problem with my Xperia X10i:
I had it with the Cyanogem mod 6.1 (2.2 Froyo), it was working well but i had several issues with the speed so i decided to go back to the old stock 2.1 Eclair.
Everything i did it's as follows:
I performed a complete wipe using xrecovery (Not a factory reset, it's the option that is in advanced features inside xrecovery)
After that i think i bricked it cause it was displaying the SE start logo and nothing else (Hours displaying that logo and didn't load the OS)
I decided to use Flashtool using a stock Eclair 2.1 after that when i tried to turn it on all it did was a continuous vibration, i flashed it again and now all it does is that it starts the screen flashes around three times and then restarts itself.
It's stuck on that restart loop i have tried to flash it many times but nothing happens.
I used SEUS, PC companion but both of them says that i have the latest software installed (Even the REPAIR option in PCC says that there's no new software for my device, try again later)
I don't know what else to do, how can i bring it back to life?
HELP i don't want to loose this phone or wait till Gingerbread sees the light!!
(Is a long post but i tried to explain everything step by step)
Hello,
i will try to help u out here. I've been flashing stock ROM's countless times so far and it always worked fine.
What u should do is grab the latest version of FlashTool here:
http://www.multiupload.com/7H4JT35B6G
Click to collapse
mainly because it should give best compatibility with all devices it supports
Then, grab a fresh copy of stock firmware files from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10879519&postcount=2

I also have a X10i, so i use X10i_2.1.B.0.1_GENERIC version of the firmware which u can get here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?y4wk8u21wpdkbqa
Click to collapse
I kind of like to feel safe when i flash a firmware, so i always tend to use the latest version there is.
After that just get it rooted and put xrecovery on your device. Then u get zdzihu's new kernel on it and u're all set
Use SEUS. When it says "already has latest software" just click on install in bottom right corner of window don't worry about it already being on latest firmware this is just mainly based on build.prop.
It will reinstall the stock firmware. This will wipe all data.
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
Thanks to all, i already solved it.
I grabbed the original firmware (1.6) from Orange france found in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=872298,
I used Flashtool to build the ftf and voila, the installation was flawless and now my handset is back to life.
when trying to re-flash using SEUS make sure to delete the db file/folder of SEUS so that it will not detect that phone has latest software
Hi everyone, I recently tried to install a custom rom to my sony ericcson x10a running gingerbread 2.3.3. I sucessfully rooted my phone and installed busybox, but when I got to xrecovery, i couldnt install it. So I decided to flash my phone to 2.1. After a sucessful flash, I've been stuck at the Sony Ericsson boot screen. I tried using the Pc Companion but even if it does detect my phone, it gives me these instructions:
1. Drag the status bar downwards
2.Tab USB connected
3. Tap Mount
4. PC Companion will connect to the phone.
And without doing those instructions, it wont connect my phone and i cant do anything. Im like really new to all this and would really appreciated anyones input on my problem!
Thanks

There may be some options using latest flash tool. You can download it from one of the threads in the development section.
I am presuming you haven't used flash tool yet. That should also install xrecovery.
Cheers,
Lunar.

Thanks for the reply, I couldn't find anything on the latest flashtool, i think something is wrong with my loader on the phone. But it wont let me flash a new one, i go into flash mode when it asks me and then it magically disconnects and aborts the flash. Is there any other option for me?
Thanks m8
EDIT: My bad for not reading the thread title properly.
Anyways, what were you trying to flash? Can you give us the log of the flashing process?

Hi folks, I am in the US, I bought a new, unlocked LG-D802 G2 on eBay at this link http://www.ebay.com/itm/171429816155. It is on Android 4.2.2. I wanted to upgrade to KK but then I tried the OTA I got the message that my phone was not registered. I registered the IMEI number on both the LG US and LG UK support sites but no go. Here are the things I tried.
1. I registered the phone with and contacted support for both LG US and LG UK. UK pointed me to the LG PC Suite which did not work. US said the phone is not on warranty since I bought off of eBay but to put the old sim card in it to get the update to work but there is no old sim card.
2. I downloaded the LG PC Suite and LG Mobile support tool and their drivers and neither worked in updating my phone.
3. I tried the link to the LG site posted on XDA where you pass in your IMEI number and it let's you download the firmware but the LG site said my IMEI was not found.
I use Cricket wireless which works fine with the phone and tried everything both with and without the sim card. The phone number in the about phone section says 'unknown'.
I am not rooted and would prefer not to be.
I am attaching an image of the details of my phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Did you try kdz method ? This methood is really easy and safe, check this out !

Thanks Patrick. Do I use this .kdz file because it matches my software version:

I got it from the link from this thread:

I don't know which version of the phone I have. I am guessing it is the UK version. Is the software version D80210b enough to uniquely identify it?
Thanks.

Instead of x, place there your imei number and you will get firmware especially for your phone.
Or visit this website:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/firmware-Lg+G2-Tutti-36.html
and download the newest V20H, it's not important from which country you download it, but the most important is model number, in your case download only firmware for D802 model.

Similar problem
I hope that xda-soar solve his problem. I have similar problem... and I need help
I can't update my G2 D802. When I connect phone to PC it shows me that there is an update,. After I run update, it brakes at some percents (30-50%). Current software version on my phone is D8021e.
I have not found a solution, in fact it has gotten worse, I have bricked my phone using instructions in these threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
So be careful.
For real full stock follow this:
First let's try to find your original device firmware.
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b...k2.jsp?esn=xxx
Replace xxx with your imei in the browser.
It give you the latest firmware version and the suffix(some capital letters). The suffix indicates the market region, my for example is from Baltic.
In the browser use " LG g2d80210a_00.kdz 32gb or 16gb+suffix", 10a is for jb if you can't find a try b.
NOTE: never, never use a 16GBP firmware in a 32GBP device!!!
After you have kdz file, backup important data to a pc!
Flash with LG flash tools with cse option(it will wipe all the device). The phone will boot, skip the setup and make factory reset , boot again and update to kk by ota.
This way it will be full stock with unroot flag!
NOTE 2: the phone only will receive ota updates when there are available for that region (suffix) .

vladimir, that link where you put in your IMEI number does not work for me. It says my number is not found. So I tried a bunch of different 32GB kdz files from online and none worked. I can boot into the regular phone menu but my touch screen does not work: I touch one area of the screen and another registers. I also get frequent restarts. You can see my comments in the above threads for a description of what I have been through. This guy also had the same problem:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/lg-g2-d802-completely-ruined-help-t2945092
Just an update on my situation as it stands now:
What works:
I can start the phone and get into the lock screen and the regular screens. The phone looks OK.
I can get the phone into download mode most of the time if I get a clean shutdown.
I can flash any kdz successfully to completion with the 2014 flash tool.
I can flash with the tot method, but at completion it says the factory reset test failed though it seems to have flashed the rom.
What does not work:
The touch screen is totally out of calibration. Touching one areas activates another. Most areas cannot be touched at all. The notification pane can be pulled down but nothing can be clicked in it.
Because of above I can't click enough correctly to get USB debugging turned on in developer options so I cannot connect with adb or fastboot tool.
The phone restarts itself, I guess this is called a boot loop? Sometimes it stays on for a while, especially if I keep the screen awake. If it goes to sleep it will crash and then restart.
Don't use tot. Its for branded models. You should only use kdz.
After a success full flash, do a factory reset before booting it up completely.
After that do a screen calibration or do the update touch firmware.

TheHaso, thanks for the reply. I did a factory reset after booting but I can try again. How do I do a screen calibration or update the touch firmware? It is hard to get to the dialer because my touchscreen is messed up. Will that fix my boot loops too?

Nooo, don't do factory reset after booting. When you are using the kdz method, then choose CSE Flash, not Normal Flash. CSE Flash doing factory reset while flashing.

this best. because, i test all other method but my phone did not relock.
When I tried this method, phone is relocked and everything work without error.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are a life saver! This is the only method that worked for me after struggling for a couple of days trying to overcome errors wen I tried to flash stock and re-lock the bootloader. :good::good::good: Will this allow the OTA update and receive Motorola updates?
relock bl returns te warranty?
no. there is no reason to ever relock this phone.
So,if you want to receive Motorola OTA Updates, you only need to unroot and return to stock recovery?

No
You have to use motorola's website to get the unlock code. They know you unlocked, warranty still void.
I can't thank you enough for this thread!!! I've run through several of these and yours has been the only one to include the most recent security patch!!! You are a STAR!
Thank you for making this easy!
Awesome!
This worked beautifully, I can't thank you enough.
Update** Since using this to un soft brick my device, My bootloader seems to be in a weird place, It says "Device unlocked Status code 3". I followed directions from Motorollas site to relock boot loader nothing in ADB or Fastboot flashes. I tried re unlocking it fails. im not sure what happened. any suggestions would be great though! thanks.

Ive rebooted numerous times as well. I cannot, for the life of me , get BT to turn on! I'm about to flash TWRP, wipe, and install AICP... IDK..... has this ever happened to anyone? anyone got any idea's?

The firmware and procedure in the OP are outdated, doing any flashing via a batch file is highly frowned upon as you cannot see if any piece fails and judging from the date of the OP the firmware is out of date.
Aside from that, if just the BT isn't working, you likely need to reflash the BT firmware... it should be included in the firmware you downloaded, go to that directory and execute "fastboot flash bluetooth BTFM.bin" to reflash the BT firmware partition. I am not sure what fastboot is included in this firmware archive, so it that fails try it as "mfastboot fastboot bluetooth BTFM.bin".
If BTFM.bin does not exist in this firmware archive, try over from scratch, look in my signature for a more up to date method of restoring stock and (optionally) relocking the bootloader.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, I'm looking for help with a Moto X style XT1575. I tell you the problem: I bought a Moto X Style used on the internet and it turns out that WiFi does not work, the phone is with MM 6.0.1. Entering Configuration, WiFi, you see a line with movement, as if the phone is still searching for networks with the switch turned off and when you try to activate it, it immediately goes back on by itself. I was reading a bit about this error and it seems quite repeated, not only in this model but also in other Motorola. I saw cases in which besides the WiFi also does not work the Bluetooth, in my case the problem is only in the Wifi. The phone is not rooted or anything, it is factory and reset, I am not sure if it is free but apparently yes, because I accepted sims from two different companies.
Could you help me solve this? From already thank you very much
(I'm using the Google translator, sorry if something I say is not understood)

If the bootloader is locked the solution i can think of is to flash the latest firmware (if available).
If there any hardware fault then flashing firmware won't fix this.
Reflash MM? Would that fix the WiFi? I have read cases where the official update itself generates the problem, and they flash the modem and it works, without having to reload the whole system. I do not really know what to do

This may fix it.
And don't forget to see if the build version matches.
It looks like the versions match. To do this I have to unlock the bootloader and root the phone, is that correct? I'm a rookie, you'll see

Those are stock images so i don't think you need to unlock bootloader. Just flash via fastboot.
Only flash non-hlos.bin and fsg and also Bluetooth if Bluetooth isn't working.

You can't update using mobile data you have to use wifi.
Marshmallow doesn't allow updates via mobile data.
But u can use other mobile and creat wifi hotspot to update.
U can try updating. But in cause some thing break you may have to unlock your bootloader.
And is nougut available for xt1575?
Yes, Nougat is now available for some regions. How can i create a hotspot if te phone does not have WiFi? Can not connect to any network

Alright, you are going to want to download minimal fastboot and adb drivers for PC (assuming you are on windows?) https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790&page=70 You do not need an unlocked bootloader or need to be rooted to be able to flash stock. @yk1999 provided the correct file, and so just Google how to flash the commands @yk1999 said. Or follow this guide of how to relock bootloader.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...rn-to-stock-relock-bootloader-t3489110/page33
Edit : the commands are fastboot flash...and then the file names that @yk1999 posted. This should be enough. Download the file I linked you for fastboot and adb, turn on us debugging in settings, and then flash away!
