Hi all
I have a developing android box VS-RK3399 from Videostrong. On the official forum admins posting trash and have not support. From the internet i have image android 8.1 without root and GooglePlay.
May be you can help me there how to install gapps or root?

Did you try to restore factory settings? It should be in android settings or hidden menu.
It's unlikely that google services will stop working on android 8 and needs system update.
I got an old smartphone with android 5.0.2 and all google stuff works well, so I think it's not OS problem

I even reinstalled to a completely different version 8.1 and I still have exactly the same problem, even though the OS is completely different and the factory reset was loaded

Wear OS app on custom OS not working

I installed a modified version of AOSP (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-10-darkjoker360-aosp-10-for-huawei-p8-lite-2017.4008999/), and now when I start the WearOS app it says: 'The currently installed build of companion will not work on this phone. Uninstall it and make sure you install a signed companion on a user phone." does anyone have any idea on how to fix this.

I have tried on Many phone th e were os on smansung activ series are not poping up at @AsusROGPhone3

how do i know my device is [Q] or [R]?

i am trying to install [A11][R][ARM64][A40][AOSP]PixelExperience
but it was fail at block_image_update("/dev/block/platform/13500000.dwmmc0/by-name/system" even that file is exists
install Disable_Dm-Verity or multidisabler is not working for this

is there some way that using [R] roms for my device?
i have no idea what is [R] meaning

[Q] means it’s Android 10 based and [R] means it’s Android 11 based.

Skyworth 4k Andorid 10 TV [ LEAP S1 ]

I would like to upgrade the firmware for this box. It is already Android V10 but I would like to upgrade it to 12 if possible.
I see there are a few different boxes that have the same hardware Labled Stong Leap S1 like the me cool and others.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Unfortunately, the right direction is to just use android 10. There is no android 12 (or even 11) build for this device yet.
If there ever is an update, the skyworth variant is one of the few (using this hardware) that supports gota updates. So, you'll get it automatically.
