LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

You used the search function of the forums.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.

Just gave it a whirl. Almost everything is working except GPS.
It appears that GPS is borked. I clean flashed as well as dirty flashed over a prior cm13 build and can't get an accurate lock using high accuracy. Position marker also does not move along with me.

Thanks for the report i forgot to test that before i released. I will work on fixing it.

And I respect that. I never told him that his name sucks, I suggested a new one based on what the ROM is based off. CTOSP is good as it is, but ctOS would be better in my point of view. Cheers!

Just flash the ROM and don't flash gapps.
If you're still confused, follow these steps:-
Recovery->Clean wipe(Dalvik, Cache, System, Data)->Flash ROM->Flash Magisk for root (optional)->Reboot:good:

LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Tried. GPS not working yet (at least for me). I'll be really happy to use this ROM. I need one more thing, the LTE/GSM toggle switch on the quick settings. This setting and Google maps is a must for me. One positive thing is that this ROM finally fixed the internal storage not showing in PC issue. It works and pretty fast rom. Few tweaks here and there (AND OF COURSE THE GPS ISSUE) and it'll be probably the best ROM for vince for the time being.
