Been stuck on this screen for the last 6/7 hours. Pressing power plus volume down restarts the phone then rapidly goes into this screen and starts loading the update. After 100% it stays, nothing happens. The recovery menu never comes. Mine is SM-A205U Full Stock ROM

Restart the phone using volume down and the power button.
After the screen turns off but before it turns back on, let go of volume down and hold volume up instead along with your power button.
Either wipe your phone or format data from there. (Either option will leave you factory fresh in this case)
Unless you wanna use odin to push the update instead of relying on the inbuilt updater.
In which case you hold volume up and down along with the power button before using a computer to do your update.

So it should revert back to its original firmware?
Always wondered about this situation on unrooted phones. It can happen too easily with auto flashing.

No, I only saw that screen once and the 3keys worked on it.
Sorry
meh... then it's not the same
that picture above, is the ultimately bricked screen.
and only the 3 button combo can save it, but if the phone have 3 button sequence disable, you are pretty much dead in the water.
Shut this ANDROID IS killing me with my s60v5 i8910 dont have any problems at all when flashing and i flashed arround 50 times

So I was just laying down and watching a youtube video and all of a sudden it just rebooted by itself
Now it's stuck on the white animation reboot screen where the white screen and the verizon sign and logo come in......it just loops on that animation over and over and over
what do I do?
It's a completely stock LG G2
it's this animation screen (the phone in the below pic is not mine)

Try this, it will factory reset your phone though.
Hold Volume Down and Power button at the same time until the LG logo shows up, then release them and press them down again.
If that doesn't work,
Hold Volume Down and Power button until the LG logo shows up, then release ONLY the Power button while still holding the Volume Down button, then press the Power button again.
Since it's stock, someone else probably had the same issue as you, just do some searching because I am not absolutely sure this method will work for you. I think this only works on the Verizon variant which you have.
Best of luck,
Stephen

Hello everyone,
I need some help. I was using package disabler to disable some apps and I accidentally disabled Android System. This is now causing the phone not to boot pass the ATT logo screen. The phone is vibrating multiple times like it would normally do when starting up but it is not going pass the ATT logo. Any ideas how I can possibly fix this without resetting my phone? I am not rooted and am on the latest update from ATT.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion....i have tried to get it to boot into safe mode but it isnt working....i am not sure if I am doing it wrong or just that the phone is so screwed up that its not going into it....thanks tho!
You may just have to face the fact that a factory reset is necessary. Not ideal I know, but short of getting safe mode to work it looks to be your only option...

This is for people stuck on the "Powered by Android" Screen after problems while flashing the new firmware. If you notice, you will not be able to restart or even power off the phone. No worries. Do the following
1. On the Powered by Android screen, keep the Volume Up button and Power button pressed till the phone restarts (you will also feel it vibrate once)
2. Let go of the buttons and wait for a few seconds, the phone will boot in recovery mode
3. You will have options to power off the device on this screen You can use the volume buttons to navigate and power button to select the required option.
You can always power off and go back to download mode by pressing the Volume down button and power button together. Now you are good to go for another round of firmware flashing.
Hope this helps

Not sure what the deal is. I've had my OP6T bootloader unlocked since Day 1 and haven't had a single issue until this afternoon.
I noticed the other day there was a notification to install the newest version of Oxygen OS but DID NOT install it. After waking my device I noticed it randomly shut down and then upon restarting flashed to the boot screen but does not go any further.
After several hard/soft restarts (holding power button down as well as power button and volume down) does nothing!
At this point I'm just allowing the phone battery to drain so that I can attempt to boot into recovery. For reference this is the screen that is currently being displayed:

Cheers!
Which version of OS? Regular 6T (international) or TMobile? Did you have Magisk and TWRP installed?

Unplug it from the charger.
try holding power and volume up/down.
That picture isn't a 6T!
Device was not plugged in after shutting itself down.
Equally the image I used is ONLY for reference. Obviously cannot post a screen because I cannot use my phone :/
Just an update but was able to restart device successfully following a complete drain of the battery. Not sure what the deal was...
