The stock battery is 700mah, so if any of you are having battery problems I reccomend getting the 1400mah battery. It is the exact same size as the regular battery so it wil not make your device any bigger.
This is where I bought it (this EXACT item from this EXACT ebay seller)

uhh, my stock battery is 1500mah
I think I'm running Siedio's 1650 slim battery - gives me just enough juice to get through the day with slightly above average useage.

that means you didnt get a brand new one, but a refurb or used. they ship from the factory with 700mah's. someone probably owned it before you did, upgraded the battery and then resold it to you, telling you it was new. you cant have one with a 1400 or 1500mah battery unless its been preowned and manually upgraded.
My stock battery is also 1500mah.
My brother-in-law's is also 1500mah.
My boss's is also 1500mah.
Hmm, I'm seeing a pattern here. Verizon is selling refurbs as new!

my battery is 7000 mha i placed two 3500mha batteries together by sodering wires to the second battery and also the first one and then pluging them into the phone. I phone now lasts two days on a charge. it does take 24 hours to charge them....

Mine was a 1500 new from Verizon also. You might want to contact whoever sold you the phone and see about getting the stock 1500 battery.

Sounds like you may have this backwords
I also got a 1500 on my Verizon. I have upgraded to the 2100. I can make it a day an half with a few emails checking ever hour and frequent web surfing.
Just took a look at my mogul, it's 1500 mAh Model BTR6800.
My stock battery is 1500mAh as well.. just checked. I have a 3500mAh battery on order from Seidio.. hopefully it'll be here soon. I'm an extremely heavy user so my stock battery takes a pounding.
I have both an OEM 1500 and a non-OEM 2400 extended battery.
Is there any reviews or user feedback available now:

Very interested in these batterys.
Whats the warranty and how long would it take to ship to Aus?
If the picture's anything to go by, this guy's selling the OEM battery on eBay for under $20 including postage.
Doing a search on eBay for "HB4F1" (the battery code) yields many cheaper results, though their photos indicate that they're aftermarket rather than the original.
If you do decide to buy one, I'd suggest you refrain from leaving feedback until you've had a chance to test it for a few days to confirm that you're getting at least the same life as you got with your original battery.
Based on past experience (with other 'phones), you'll never get anywhere near the rated capacity with "no-name" (and in "no-name" I also include Mugen et al) batteries; they're really only good for emergency back-ups rather than replacing your existing battery. And you'll NEVER get more than the OEM battery's capacity, no matter what the aftermarket manufacturers tell you.

$99 is very pricy for a phone that costs ~$300. AND the the phone becomes bulkier, no thanks.
$99 for one battery? I prefer buy 3 or 4 standard bateries and swap when they gets empty lol
I would love to have one of these especially the 3600 mah
ive heard that 1800mah is something like failure or fake, it doesnt last that longer than the 1500mah one. also except that the 3600mah is soooo fat i think its really expensive also considering the fact that it might be used and of course not certified
I buyed two of this batteries. My batteries production date 1,5 year ago and it's lighter than orginal battery. These batteries are waiting for emergency call (if orginal batter empty in a emergency situation) I never charged them and i dont know performance. I am just tested them on my phone. They are %50 charged and phone can working with them.
Have they the same size as a normal one?
the site shows a big back cover.
Nope, they are fat fat that's why they had custom back cover.

Should work fine. Nice to know that the U8800 battery is the same as some other Huawei devices too. Should be plenty of batteries for sale.
I fancy a high capacity battery myself.
looks good...i already got an extra one from deal extreme but it's a cheap knock off. would love to hear from someone that bought this one.

Hi
I have found this battery on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLD-2430MAH-HB4F1-BUSINESS-BATTERY-HUAWEI-E5830-E5832-E5836-E5838-E5-ASCEND-/130576493812?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e66f72cf4 and from the description "seems" possible a good capacity. For me if the technology is always lipo is impossible a capacity of 2.4A with same battery size and weight, but 1.7~1.8 is credible if really the cell is Japan made.
Bye
Fabryxy
Edit: sorry but from the neutral feedback of the seller seems that many people have denote same\less capacity of stock battery.

see this
Made in Japan
2 year warranty
Ultra-high capacity battery
Maximizes time between charges
Delivers superior performance
Robust & durable battery
Direct battery replacement
Stable and safe to use
No "memory effect"
Lightweight lithium-ion
Capacity: 2430mAh
Well the original battery is a Lithium Polymer and NOT a Lithium Ion
so there is a difference between both off them
Pretty ****ty battery. Probaply not the battery what it says.
someone have tried one of these powerful battery like the 1700mah or 2430mah one?

From what I've read, the "amazing" gold 1800/2430mAh batteries are extremely crap.
i have ordered a 1800 battery and waiting to arrive in monday so ill test it and post my opinion!
anyone tested? its capacity is real?
Hi my original battery of Defy is dying. It won't last for half a day. I am planning to get a new one. There are all kinds of batteries on ebay, 1500mah, 1700mah, 1930mah, 2200mah.... I don't want to lose water-resistant so I just want a battery replacement can last long with it. Which is the best choice? I know some of these volumes are fake so the largest number is not always the best choice...

hi, just buy the official battery of your defy
I bought a Polarcell 1600 mAh on ebay. I measured 1570 mAh, which is close enough.
It does have two problems, though. It underreports its capacity (1140 instead of 1600 mAh), and the temperature jumps between 24 and 26 C no matter what the real battery temperature is.
Buy the original battery , If possible purchase the battery a official reseller , On Ebay there are many false
try MUGEN

thanks, will try it
lesson:
1. buy original motorola, try reliable un-official channel if too expensive.
2. buy 3rd party reputable.
3. avoid any has the same size as original but claims significantly higher capacity.
4. avoid batteries that sell for 1/5 the price of an original or 3rd party, you're asking for troubles.
5. when shop on ebay, check seller ratings.
thx.
Hello, my original battery seems to be really dying, only lasts about 10 hours with no usage at all, and needing a new one from ebay.
So what battery should i buy? I have watched at the earlier threads but the listings have ended for those batteries so could somebody link me a good battery from ebay? Thanks
You can buy on eBay or dealextreme. Just search for "HB4F1"
I know but which one of them? There are so many of them and they all look the same.
It's all about same all of them have same capacity. And please don't buy "Gold battery" or that ones seller says is better than original.
You can bought this one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-B...030?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43b83087a6
or

It is better to buy a "genuine" or a battery with higher capacity?

just buy that one he linked earlier, the genuine one, its really good
The more mAh the battery has the longer it'll last, however, 10 hours on an android phone with no use seems about right. Auto-sync, power managers, gps seem to be the main culprits in battery consumption.
